 Macchiato: Chi spied a dark-colored stranger rolling around in the dirt and tiptoed closer to investigate. As he got near, he realized a cat's tail was sticking out from under the horse. He sped forward and shouted. Hey! You're squishing a cat!

Missy: ~A strange sort of purr emitted from the star as she slowed and blinked at the stranger before giggling and slinking to her feet.~ Mmmmyes, but it does get itchy and squashy the back feeeeels goooood. ~Starts moving around the new star giggling away in a slow playful manner.~

Chi blinked and walked in a circle around her as she giggled at him. I-- It's *your* tail! he said in surprise. Are you a cat?

Chi tilted his head to the side as he pondered the question posed to him. He snorted as he replied What isn't a cat...It's either a cat or it's not, you know. You've got hooves and everyone knows cats have paws so I bet you're not a cat. He stamped a hoof on the ground. You're interesting, I like you. Where are you off to today?

"Clevvvver Male, vvvvery clevvver!" Her tone seemed to emphasise the fact she had a tail and pointy cat ears and at other times... not so much. Doing a circle on the spot before swaying off towards a nearby tree she rubs up against it "Here, Heeeere or there" Nods over in another random direction "Perhaps everywhere! Do we plan our adventurrrrres or do they just happen?" She looked at the male with a raised brow.

He shook his head at the antics of his new acquaintance. Today it seems like maybe they just happen. I'm always searching for a new adventure; I love meeting new people and trying new things. He smiled at the mare. What's the name you go by, anyway? he asked.

"Name?" She chuckled as her tail swayed back and forth still rubbing up against the tree. "Many namessss! Oi you! Shoooo sometimes even Missy, when I'm not being persued." She grinned at him "And you? What be yourrrr label to the worrrrld?"

He tilted his head again and watched, mesmerized, as her feline tail flicked back and forth against the rough bark of the tree. Dazed, he stood there watching for much too long before he realized the stranger had both told him her name and asked him a question. Uhm, er... he stammered. Missy, hmm? He paused, regaining his composure before continuing the conversation. It's nice to meet you. My name's Macchiato, but a lot of people just call me Chi.

Basking in the attention she wasn't one to turn down being the object of someones focus. Showing a little teeth she tilted her head, her hat slipping a little to the side as she does so "ChiChi The verrrry clevvver male, out havvving an adventurrre! Tell me ChiChi the clevver male, Why do starrs fall, why isss it that starrrs have hooves at all!"

He snorted. You're just full of riddles, aren't you? He paused and pondered her query. You know, someone once told me that our ancestors all live up with the stars, and some of them wanted to come live down here, so they fell down out of the sky and landed here. It sounds silly, if you ask me. Why would you want to leave the pretty sky if you didn't have to? He grinned at Missy. That didn't really solve the riddle though, did it? He nickered slightly, laughing at himself.

"How vverrrry complicated, cute from the cute named ChiChi" giggles and backs herself up so she's on her back legs scratching her shoulder on the bark. "I would say... Hooves are harrrrd and strrrrong for the landing!" Then she let out another chortle of laughter, finding herself and the entire encounter rather amusing.

"Doess a squirrrel say no to a nutty treat?" Without much grace she lowered her weight and returned to four legs, skipping over to the male. "Tally ho captain!" Raising one hoove she feigned a salute.
