(Go ahead and use adol or adult for Dayo, I have no preference!)
Mapokeo had been living along the border of the Pridelands for quite some time now, feeding off the energy that such an old pride could provide. He'd never quite brought himself to go any deeper into the lands - after all, he was a stranger, and it's rude to enter someplace uninvited. Though it wasn't like he had family out here on the borders. He carried Prideland blood in him somewhere, that was clear enough if only by the color of his fur. But they'd all gone their separate ways some time ago, and he'd lived alone, in relative happiness, out here. There was less competition for food in the no mans' land between prides, after all, but he was certainly feeling the tug of loneliness.
And so he ventured inward, the distinctive scent of pride and tradition enveloping him. He let out a roar - not too loud, of course - just loud enough to catch the attention of any passer-by. It was time to introduce himself.

fuKurohane Do you think you could up the font size a tiny bit? My eyes are acting up so I have a hard time handling small text at the moment sad  Dayo was probably a bit further out from the pride border than she should at the moment, but she was nearly adult. It was not like when she was just a cub, trying to sneak away and find adventure. She could take care of herself, and she was already a more than decent huntress. The hyenas would never dare to wander this close to their territory, and if they did she was sure she could make them regret it.
Her ears perked up as she heard the roar in the distance. It wasn't anyone she knew, and she wondered what was up. The scouts would probably be all over it in a minute, but she was curious so she started jogging towards the sound. It was a lion, and the roar didn't sound distressed or hostile so it wouldn't hurt checking it out.
"Hallo there," she called when she was within hearing distance of the yellow male that must have roared.

Keo was about to roar a second time, when he saw a soft tan figure approaching him, and his mouth split instead into a smile. Not the first Pridelander he'd ever seen, naturally, but she looked young - her body not quite fully developed, but definitely lean and strong. So definitely not a scout, or any soldier - hopefully nothing to be afraid of. Not that the Pridelands were particularly fearsome. Certainly, they weren't Firekin, or vampires, or - Mkodi-forbid - demons. But they were a massive pride with a rich history, which was precisely why he had come.
"Hello, yourself!" he called back warmly as the stranger neared. "I'm glad you heard me before I had to stretch my lungs like that again," he said warmly, with a soft joke in his voice. He wanted to make a good impression, of course. Not frightening. Perhaps he would be mistaken for a lost Pridelander himself, with his colors so traditional? His own scent had very subtle traces of it, after all, despite living on the borders for so long.

Keo's approach was working, and the young lioness didn't seem intimidated at all. If anything, she seemed curious about him, and her nostrils moved as she took in his scent. The pride was big, and while Dayo didn't know everyone she had a pretty good feel for the ones that belonged to the pride and the one that she'd never seen around. This male was not familiar to her, but he might just be new.
"I don't think I know you," Dayo said, "Were you looking for someone out here?"
