The training field was always, that blessing in disguise. They were home, they were save, there were tents waiting now, with Hunters ready for medical attention, with Hunters scurrying to provide medical attention while others were asked to immediately file reports.
It was sad how slowly familiar this was becoming to many. OOC - All Hunters are here! If you have no medical injury you can probably leave - Also if you have a plot/ ie: you're a student who is here, just go ahead and linger and probably quote Zoobey

Melvin was set on a coat, a few arrows sticking out from his chest as blood soaked through his sweater. His body was freezing, both from lying in the snow and bloodloss, and his vision was a blur as he noticed people moving around him. The sounds were human, luckily not the fall of hooves, and be wanted to breath out in relief but found it hard to even expand his lungs. A pair of hands set on his chest and it took him a second to tense before the first arrow was pulled out.
A yell was cut short as he clenched his teeth. Oh hell! This pain. He never felt pain like this before.

Cass didn't seem too happy to be back, her lips pulled thin as she looked over the assembled group and who had made it back. Her mind constantly went back to that last glimpse of Allan. But it was time for those who were being repaired to get a good look at them.
And she had come out unscathed somehow. She looked down at herself, blood spattered on her coat from sources not her own body. A sad statement, somehow.
However, she did sit down next to one of the patients, carefully tucking her hand into his and giving it a squeeze.
"You'll be alright." she whispered - perhaps just for herself. But she had a feeling that even if she was a pretty-crappy-stanger, she could at least.... be someone there with him while he was patched up until someone else came for him.

Another tech was using a pair of scissors to cut off the ruined clothes to be able to get to the arrows more easily. With one out, the tech brought up a device. It gave a beep, giving the clear that it wasn't poisoned, and set it aside on a tray as the other tech finally freed the sweater and shirt from the hunter. Since the arrows were not poisonous, the urgency levels dropped. Stitches would be needed.
You're alive. You should be happy. Your Gobblers was almost cooked.
Oh s**t, this hurts!
It's just a few arrows.
A few arrows! I haven't ever been shot before in my entire life!
The hand that had found his took him by surprise, but before he could even react, the techs resumed their work and he squeezed Cass' hand tightly.

As soon as Lex's feet hit the ground of the training field, his mind went into full infirmary mode. He'd deal with the fact that they were all doomed later - for now there were Hunters that needed tending to and wounds to patch. He sprinted into the tent, picked up a bandage and slapped it on the back of his hand before he began to prepare IV's and bandage rolls.
Work, work, work. Don't think - breathe and do. Breathe and do.
Smile.

This was Stormy's first time really visiting the makeshift infirmary she would soon become familiar with. Really this was the first time she was really out on the field. On the one hand: nasty bone-faced dogs, nastier bone-everything dragons, and a weapon that apparently would always explode in her face if she charged it.
On the other: exploding things.
Yet it was little comfort to Stormy that her last hurrah had actually worked, for there was now going to be a teeming mass of horsemen to deal with, and after the encounter with the pair not ten minutes ago, she wasn't sure how to deal. The mist trainee slumped to the ground with a wince; while her shield had held against Thane's combusting attack, it was never pleasant to be engulfed by acidic fumes and flares.
But she'd held. She wasn't dying. She didn't want to draw attention from other incoming Hunters in worse condition than her.
So Stormy just hugged herself and stared at people's feet with a dreamy, disconnected look in her eyes. She had "died" and came back all the same: who was to say the sun lead wouldn't also?

What the hell just happened.
Now that they were somewhere safe, Eva could afford time to be stunned. How--hadn't all of those horsemen died in that incident? And yet they had all been brought back, hundreds of them crowding the fields. While she would not have minded this if they were peaceful, she sincerely doubted that the horsemen would rest even with their clansmen back. They would continued to pursue revenge for what happened--
It was at that moment that Eva glanced to the side, belatedly realizing that just who she had brought along with her. There was the beat of silence, and then the Death trainee stared at Mei with wide eyes.
"...Oh. Hi Mei." ...Wait a minute, were they allowed to do that?

Ami, Kat and Ceres appeared in the clearing together. Ami's knuckles were white with how fiercely she was gripping Kat's wrist. When she realized what she was doing, she immediately let go, not wanting to injure the girl any more than she already was.
Reality set in. "Medics!" she called out, words barely forming sentences as she stuttered and stumbled over them. "We- Medics, we need medics!" Fear threatened the corners of her mind, her eyes wide as she began to panic.
Ami took a few steps backed and then leaned over a bale of hay, hand covering her face in shame. Not here. Not now. There were people. She couldn't.
Breathe. In and out.
There were so many.
Nausea struck her. Breathe. Just breathe. There was nothing she could do but breathe. A mere handful of horsemen had brought her to her knees, shattered and broken in front of the masses. A handful of horsemen had broken her weapon, snapped it like a twig. There had been thousands on that battlefield.
Breathe.

Upon arriving, Mei cringed from the instant brightness of the place that was Deus. "Ugh..!" Bringing her hand up to shade her eyes, she waited for her vision to adjust, tough she wondered if it ever would.
"...Oh. Hi Mei."
"Hi-" Blinking, reality slowly began to sink in. "Oh.. crap." This.. was not something she had planned for.(( LOL HI DEUS HI! ))

Cass squeezed his hand back, cupping her other one over it and brushing her thumb over the back of it. Sure she couldn't feel her fingers all of a sudden, but it made her feel like she was helping in some way.
However, she didn't even wince when the arrows were pulled out of him. She knew that pain - she'd had almost every bone in her body cracked or broken in some way all at once. She'd had her ribs nearly broken by Caelius who was so-not-being-serious... she understood it. Her body didn't fake project it anymore.
"There. It won't take too long, Melvin. They'll get you patched up good."

The training fields. A place where he felt most at home during the short time he spent here, but right now, it was last place he wanted to be. So much was going on through his mind. Somehow, he felt, the outcome of this mission was already pre-determined. They were fighting monsters. Things that kept coming back no matter how many freaking times you killed them, THEY KEPT COMING BACK. Stupid immortal pieces of s**t.
He huffed angrily, kicking at the ground. Hunters were starting to file in now, and he only glared irritably at them.
Turning around, he looked at the hunters who had already returned, giving them the same unpleasant look. Wow. Looked like Blondie had seen better days, but he suspected a crap ton more hunters fell to those stupid things. That was what happened when you fought things that DON'T DIE.
Eyes skimming over the rest, they fell on a certain mist trainee who had been with him earlier. He didn't want to admit it, but if she hadn't been defending him before... He grit his teeth. Horsemen. One day, he was going to kill them all.
Walking over to her, he crossed his arms, frowning. "Nice hit with that horsewoman. If s**t didn't break loose, we probably could of dissipated one of those things."
Was he... complimenting her? Quite possibly. Cherish this forever, Stormy. It'll probably never happen again.

Thanks to Ceres and Ami, Kat was brought back to Deus, though she was unsure if this was really a place she wanted to be right now. Wincing, she glanced over at Ami who had her by the wrist, thankful when the life hunter released her from the tight hold. "T-thanks." She murmured to both Ceres and Ami. All of them.. she owed them so much.
Gritting her teeth, she kept her hand pressed to the large gash, attempting to sit up, only to lay back down. She felt like s**t! But it looked like she and Ryan had made it, like they vowed. Take that Caelius! Though, she was curious if the death hunter would kill them officially now. Looking to Ami, she gave her a pained look, almost guessing what it was that was on her mind.
Glancing about the room, she was relieved to see all, or at least most of the hunters returning back. "Where's Ryan and Allan..?"

Dakota felt and smelt the familiar homeland of dues as his feet hit the ground and he straightened his jacket. He waved off medics, telling them that he was fine before seeking others out. Where was Ryan? Rep, Harrison. Jordan. Kat...Wilson.
Where was his friends?
"WILSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON" Dakota yelled in the middle of the field for the death hunter.
---
Nevada shuddered as she came back, touching the tents before taking supplies and running around. She hadn't been sent on the field but she had been at the base, and watched as hunters came back battered and bruised.
Again.
"Lex!" She called out to the life hunter, going to him immediately and looking him over with a careful eye. And not sure why he was smiling.
"Stop, Whatever you're doing with your face Lex, it's not helping." She didn't like the facade of a smile, the pretense that it was okay. "Are you injured anywhere?"

Wilson stayed startlingly calm as he stepped into the infirmary. He sidestepped out of the way to allow other hunters through and to allow the medics to scurry to and fro as they hurried to care for their patients. He tried to maneuver away from most of the chaos, considering he was still relatively alright. The recent events seemed so far away to him. Past horsemen had come back to life. Wilson envied them. It was one aspect of Halloween he sometimes envied. After all, both Allan and Ryan were—
He forced himself to abandon that particular trade of thought. Goggles still covered his eyes when he began to walk over towards Eva and Gale, but a shout made him stop. “Dakota?” Wilson answered quietly before he turned around and took a moment to search around the room before walking over to the moon hunter. He smiled and patted him on the shoulder. “You made it out. Are you okay?”Nyxtsuki Moon You have summoned Wilson with the Wilson Call =v=/

At Nevada's call, Lex whipped around and gave her a small, passing frown. Yes, he was sad and distraught and feeling a whole plethora of emotions, but he wasn't going to let the patients see him that way. They needed calm and attentive people, not distraught cry babies.
"No, I'm fine. Come help me with something." He replied quickly, running to where he heard a call for a medic - Ami, Ceres, and Kat. Ami and Ceres seemed to be taking care of themselves, and Kat was obviously the one in need of care. Without hesitation he picked the Sun up and shuffled her off to a bed, hooking her to an IV and beginning to unravel bandages to place on her.
"Well hey there, Sunbeam. Where does it hurt?" A soft smile coupled his question. Male nurse mode was on.
