APPEARANCE: Maguffin's petite stature and somewhat chubby cheeks often cause her to be thought much younger than she actually is. She keeps half her head shaved, while the other half has her dark hair plaited in thin brains of varying lengths festooned with dozens of brightly coloured beads.
Well muscled from years of hard labor, her dark skin is covered in a multitude of scars ranging in make from simple lacerations to the odd burn. The most notable mark is, at least, the easiest to hide: a gash beginning at her right shoulder and traveling to her navel, given to her during her first incarceration with the Smokes.
PERSONALITY: In most situations Maguffin is a nice, generally polite person. Perhaps a little too informal for her own good, she's quick with the laughs, jokes and to lend a helping hand. This is at a complete conflict with her desires in life, and her unshakeable belief that she is the Baddest Badass to ever Bad.
Generally the only way to get Maguffin to dislike you is to question her badassery or otherwise mock her goal of becoming an airship pirate queen. And for the love of all that's holy, never, ever comment on the home-made airship rotting in the yard.

THE NITTY-GRITTY: Maguffin's career began almost before she could walk. Born to the Hawkes, she learned to battle on the knees of her mothers--who mostly just fought each other, over her no less. After years of being tossed between one airships (sometimes literally), Maguffin found herself tossed out for her own good at age sixteen.
She managed to secure an airship of her own a year later, straight from the Smoke's shipyard. She had it for all of three minutes.
The leader of the Smokes was convinced by one of her mothers to let her go, but within a week she'd tried it again. This repeated itself until the whole situation became annoying, and then funny as hell to everyone involved. Everyone except Maguffin. Soon, she was regarded as the best running joke in Ozarkland--at least by the Smokes.
The Hawkes, on the other hand, viewed her as more and more of an embarrassment until the day came that not even blood-ties could keep her in the gang.
After being ousted from the Hawkes, Maguffin turned heel and stole a ship from their yard. This time she managed to keep it...for a time.
She named the ship "Ampersand" and left to region to seek fame and fortune elsewhere. She barely made it across the border before the wing inadvertently caught on fire. One watery crash-landing later, Maguffin found herself stranded in the forest and out of an airship.
Maguffin refused to give up, however. She made her way through the forest to the next settlement and began anew on her quest for an airship.
