Mimi had spent some time sitting up on a low tree branch. She was in the side of the park where bums like to rest for the night. For some reason, they were more restless to night and it seemed to take them forever to pass out. Once the rustling in the areas stopped. Mimi hopped off the tree branch and made her way to the first group of bums, 4 of them sleeping on park benches.

After a previous meeting, she had wondered if she judged these people too harshly. It felt weird... During the day time, Mimi would be more than willing to give them food if they seemed hungry. Now... Well, maybe she'll just think of it as their own way of paying her back for food and sometimes money. She took out her mirror shard and summoned a mirror wraith. It flew through the four bums, taking a tad bit of energy each before returning to her shard.

As simple as that, Mimi went to the next closest group. She had gotten used to this since it was the area she took energy from most. With the approaching bums, Mimi could also sense another approaching her. "Oh great... It feels like another page." She didn't know which princess that person was under, but since the incident with another page, Mimi held a grudge that would not go away any time soon.

The person was almost upon her as she sent out the mirror wraith towards the bum. To show that Mimi knew that the person was their, she also sent the mirror wraith towards the energy before it disappeared back into the shard.

Aventine had very mixed feelings when it came to the sensation of a nearby Dark Mirror Senshi. She had met a handful of the Court, and had no idea how large or small they were. She almost hadn't wanted to risk it being one of the members she didn't know, just so she wouldn’t have to deal with a new, potentially volatile senshi.

But…what if it was someone nice? Or Aurora?

…Or a Dark Mirror Senshi that was genuinely up to no good? What if people were getting hurt?

Aventine took a moment to consider this, and then realized that any real hero wouldn't even have had to question themselves. She stood tall, sucked in a breath, and marched across the park to the signature.

She was horrified with what she'd found. It was one thing to imagine draining energy, but another think entirely to witness it first hand.

She had no subtlety—no ability to sneak up and attack the (albeit pretty) senshi before declaring her entrance. "Hey," she said sharply, angrily stomping towards the girl. "What the hell is going on here?" she demanded, as if she hadn't already figured out what the girl was up to. It was a rhetorical question, but one she felt absolutely necessary, as Aventine wasn't going to leave before she'd gotten her say in.

In all honesty, Mimi didn't mind the Order aligned people, most of them anyways. It was more often than not that they were more annoyed of her than she was even remotely bugged by them. She looked back at the figure that was talking to her, and well, the only thing that Mimi could do was frown.

Disliking her was fine; that came with being a part of what she was. Mimi was definitely tired of meeting potty mouths though. "Can these people not insult without resulting to swearing?"

"Well, unless you want to take them in, I'm pretty sure these homeless people can't do much without their energy. Begging. Sitting. More begging. I'm just recycling and putting it back into something that could be of use." Mimi grinned. She was pretty sure the page knew where the energy went, but wouldn't mind jogging the page's memory if she needed it.

She put back her mirror shard, making sure it was safe. That was something she didn't dare lose or have stolen. "Can't tell me that was your first time seeing a mirror wraith, right?"

"It is absolutely not the first time I've seen one!" Aventine blurted, more for the principle of the matter than for any sort of truth. "Nor is it the first time I've seen one of your kind trying to take advantage of some helpless person out here! So don't think I'm going to let you off the hook or anything, all right? Just because they're homeless doesn't mean you get to decide what they do with their energy, so sorry if it's not good enough for you."

She sucked in a breath and puffed out her chest a bit, as if that was going to make her seem like a more formidable foe. "So you oughta knock it off before I have to knock some sense into you, got it?"

"Sorry, Miss, but this is a part of what we do. But hey, you can think of it this way: at least they're still alive. At least they'll keep breathing. I wasn't around when the Negaverse was taking starseeds, but that's worse, isn't it?" She grinned, somewhat mockingly at the page. Sometimes it felt like the Order aligned were really trying to hard. Mimi was taking without asking, but would it make these people feel better if she did ask?

Mimi's smile broadened when the page seemed ready to pick a fight. "I apologize again, Miss, but I'm not going to stop. What are you going to do about it." She felt like a young child taunting their parent when being scolded. It was amusing since Mimi had never really done anything like that with her parents.

Aventine had very little knowledge of what the Negaverse used to do, and had a very little information on what exactly a starseed was, but leaving people alive versus dead was always preferable in her book. But taking energy was wrong, all the same. She might have been a bit more conversational and passive had Mimistrobell not outright taunted her, but Aventine had never been one to back down from a fight—especially when provoked.

"I'm going to kick your a**, that's what I'm going to do," she said, and without any further warning, lifted her arm and hurled her perfume bottle directly towards the senshi's head. She wasn't exactly sure what the hell the perfume bottle was good for anyway—and, hell: as long as she had it, why not make good use of it?

"Oh.. Another potty mouth," Mimi said with a pout. She was never fond of those, whether they were as pretty as Aventine or not. Mimi was surprised however, when the Page launched her her... Perfume bottle towards her head? She raised her arm to protect her from the hit and was well enough surprised when the bottle hit her left arm with a thud.

She picked up the bottle and stared at it. "That hurt, a little I guess. It's definitely a pretty bottle though. I'm pretty sure you'd want this back?" Mimi tossed it at Aventine and then grinned. "Now it's my turn."

Mimi hoped the winds were in her favor. It seemed like a still night, but it didn't matter. "Mimistrobell, Crippling Waft!" She cupped her hand and when she opened them again she saw the white powder sitting there. Mimi closed her eyes and blew the pollen towards Aventine.

Almost a whisper, she spoke again. "Sorry Miss Aventine." Mimi waited for the pollen to flow towards Aventine so she could make her move.

Aventine had been a bit too distracted with trying to catch her bottle; she made the mistake of looking away from the Dark Mirror Senshi as she groped for the object in the air. She had little time to be satisfied when she nabbed it; right as she turned back to face the senshi, the pollen hit her in the face. She seemed perplexed by this and wrinkled her nose just in time to sneeze.

It wasn't enough to spare her the effects of the attack, however, and in the blink of an eye the world felt like it had suddenly shifted. She clutched her perfume bottle tighter, though couldn't even focus enough to see where to throw it—much less hope to do any damage with it. "Wh…what did you do?" she asked, squeezing her eyes shut. When she opened them again, she tried to force herself to see straight, but the extra effort only served to make her dizziness worse.

Mimi heard the page speak, but instead of responding with words, responded with action. She ran towards the page and gave her a swift punch to the girl's left arm, hoping to knock her over in her weakened state. After the attack, she jumped back, far enough where her opponent would not be able to grab her. She was not about to make the same mistake twice, and didn't want to put herself in the 'almost killed someone' position again.

"It won't last too long. I guess it's a gift from me after you chucked your bottle at me. Only right that I give something back, right?" Mimi smirked. She had no intention of hurting the page badly. This time, she just wanted to see how well she'd be able to stand up against people.

So far, it was looking decent. Though Mimi wanted to see how Aventine attacked. Would she be able to defend herself?

While the kick had hurt, all it did was send Aventine stumbling backwards as she reached up to her head, as if massaging her temple was going to dispel the strange spell she'd been cast into. "Hey, you had that coming," the page snapped, though it was hard to sound angry when your head was swimming.

Mimistrobell looked closer than she was, so Aventine's attack was more of a defense mechanism to ensure that the girl didn't come up and hit her again; she swatted at the air as though she was trying to chase away a wasp. "—You better get out of here before I can catch you! I'm not in the mood for games, so, shoo! And don't let me catch you picking on anyone else again or I swear—I'll throttle you so hard!" she threatened—though considering her flailing and wobbly legs, she didn't exactly look like she was much of a threat at present.

Mimi shrugged. The White Mooners were so bent on protecting people. Not like she killed anyone. Energy would eventually come back to the people she took from. "I hadn't actually done anything to you, yet at least."

"You guys are oddly protective about people you don't know. What? Are one of these hobos going to power up and join your side?" She was uninterested in being swatted, so instead chose to take a few steps back, letting the page swat at the air. "You're definitely a fighter, that's for sure."

She had to wonder. "So you've seen other wraiths before right?" She pulled out her mirror shard and grinned. "But ever get energy stolen from you before?" Mimi loved how her attack stunned people for a bit. "How about a taste?"

Mimi held on to the shard and coaxed the wraith out, sending it flying towards the page. With a bit of energy taken, it quickly came back into the shard to be safely tucked away.

Aventine wasn't even sure what had happened when the wraith passed through her; she felt cold for a second, and a bit winded but she wasn't even sure that it wasn't just her coming off of her adrenaline high. She shook her head and sucked in a breath before standing as tall as she could.

"I hope that's not all you've got, Missy," she said, trying to sound intimidating. There was still plenty of fight left in her…but damn, now she wanted to go home more than ever. Bed sounded good. A hot shower. A warm meal. Curling up with her dog.

…But she couldn’t just leave these people out here, helpless. Not until this Dark Mirror Senshi was gone—out of sight and away from her.

"Because you're not going to last long. You—you and your weird little wraith? …I think you've done enough damage for the night. Go home."

Seriously, please.

She was even missing her dog, and all his nasty, slimy slobber.

Mimi grinned. She loved seeing the reaction of the Order aligned when the wraiths took a bit of their energy. There was no way they could die from something like they, but hey, she wasn't here to kill anyways. At least, not for now. "Doesn't seem like you can do much more for tonight."

She laughed when the page mentioned her going home. And the reason was hilarious... 'done enough damage.' There was, at least, no lasting damage done. People would feel tired, but recover with a night's rest. "Please, you haven't seen any real damage. Those homeless people will get their energy back. You'll get your energy back."

"If I really wanted to do damage, I'd take your energy until you pass out and leave you there for someone else to finish you off." Mimi gave the page a 'you're stupid to think that' face. "Trust me, there are plenty that would do worse. You're better off going home more than I am. I have more energy to gather before going home."

Mimi gave the page a nonchalant wave as she turned around and started to walk towards the nearest mirror she could travel through. "See yah! Don't get yourself killed any time soon." She mimicked the tone of the page when she had first commanded her to leave. "Go home."

Without waiting for a response, Mimi broke out into a jog. There was no way the page would catch up with her at this point. There was also no way she could be stopped. A few blocks away, she disappeared through one of the hidden mirrors, content with what had happened tonight.

Aventine glowered after the Dark Mirror Senshi—and broke off into a run after her after he last taunt. It was a wasted effort and a waste of energy; she lost the girl in the darkness. She didn't know where she had gone—especially when her energy signature just disappeared.

For a few long moments she huffed around the place, stomping around and looking for any civilian that seemed suspicious on the off chance that the girl had powered down to hide.

She found nothing, and only served to wear herself out even more.

She couldn’t even feel totally satisfied after that, but she knew she couldn’t stay out for any longer. She was tired and wanted to sleep more than anything.

…She'd have to find Mimistrobell another night.
