Alfheim page had at least stopped keeping a list of bad things that had happened since his rude awakening. Maybe there was just some really bad dissonance between him and most of the people he met so far. And Phina hadn't been especially nice about it either, but he could take her abuse as long as it was interspersed with nicer things.
He was still clueless, though, and on nights like tonight when he made the effort to get out and patrol alone without any family members who were cats or senshi tagging along or bitchy knights who had way too much investment in his stupid title, he found himself making a lot of effort to get out on the streets all page'd up only to stop and realize he had no idea what to do.
Apparently he only knew what to do when he was retaliating.
So he found a place to sit and flopped, tilting his head back and staring at the stars with impatient, unamused scowling.

super Sailor Virtus hummed to himself as he padded along the street. He had to gather a bit more energy tonight and then he would feel okay with going home and calling it a night. He was feeling a little tired, and thought he might be getting a cold.
Apparently sheer optimism was not the way to prevent illnesses, though he would have liked to believe it possible. Even so, he took the idea of being sick in stride.
It might give him some time to cuddle in his blankets and maybe read a good book?
Sniffling, he noticed an aura of an Order soldier somewhere nearby, and decided to go investigate it. He peeked carefully around a corner and saw the Page sitting on the floor, frowning at the sky. He smiled in wonder and approached slowly.
"Is everything okay? I don't think it's supposed to rain tonight."

Alfheim cringed when e sensed another figure in his vicinity, but at the same time, he still didn't have a good grip on which auras were good and bad. Well, he sort of did, but his understanding of Chaos was tenuous at best and the realization it was a Chaos energy signature had no bearing on his judgement. He just wasn't sure how much he was wiling to deal tonight, Order or Chaos.
"Uh..." He flopped his head up and looked at the senshi, trying to draw mental comparisons to the small roster of others he'd seen. But he didn't know which distinctive features he was supposed to e focusing on so it didn't get him very far. Especially since of all the senshi he'd met, he only came across one since he could even sense auras.
"I'm not looking for rain," Was his first answer, which suddenly sounded incredibly stupid and served no purpose other than filling empty air.
"I mean, I dunno. I don't know what I'm doing. What are you doing?" And he wasn't especially fond of how that sentence came out and kind of pinched the bridge of his nose while he apparently verbally flailed through proper powered introductory meeting etiquette. "I just... hi." He muttered, before sinking lower in his seat on the bench and kind of glaring in the empty space directly in front of him because everything was so annoyingly weird these days.

Virtus did not seem to be insulted by his tone or words, but that was likely due to the fact that he was literally impossible to insult or upset. At least, one would have to try a hell of a lot harder than some passing comments to do it.
And no one really wanted to invest that much time and effort, so far.
It wasn't worth it.
"I was out on patrol, but I found you instead! You were looking a little upset so I thought maybe I could cheer you up! You're a knight, right?" He was a little confused about knights. He knew he was not supposed to like them and they couldn't really help his team, but he also knew he had promised not to hurt them if he didn't have to.
And he always kept his promises, that was just who he was. It was just getting harder to do that, when everyone was fighting on different teams, and telling him to do things that were in conflict.

Alfheim blinked dumbly a few times and just kind of shrugged, "Uh... thanks? I guess, I mean, I guess I'm not upset so much as confused? I've been awakened for a little over two weeks and it's not going great."
He scratched the side of his jaw in thought, looking over the other senshi's fuku again. For far the best comparison he could think of was Mimistrobell but he wasn't going to ask out loud. Everyone seemed super offended when you mixed them up and he didn't have a good enough read on Virtus to realize that expecting him to get offended was like waiting for him to sprout wings. It wasn't happening.
"Oh, yeah. Alfheim, of Earth," He introduced, reaching out a hand in greeting. "And you're a senshi, right?" Subspecies unknown, but probably definitely senshi.

"Oh, I remember when I awakened! I did not know anything but I had a lot of friends around to help me out. We're a team, the Dark Mirror Court, and we take care of each other. I know that the White Moon is a little more scattered than that but that is okay!"
If it worked for them, so much the better, and if not, they could always join Chaos and have it better. It was a very nice team, and Virtus loved where he was.
He moved to sit down next to Alfheim on the bench.
"But I mean, if you've only been doing this for a couple weeks, you can't be too down on yourself! It's a really hard thing to do and everyone has to learn at their own pace. I'm sure there are people who want to help you, right?" He smiled optimistically.
He would rather comfort people than attack them, that much was certain. He wasn't going to take advantage of the information that he was dealing with a newbie. The idea never even occurred to him.

"Oh, friends are nice," Alfheim said with half a laugh. He had a lot of people around him in his recent awakening ********. His sister, the weird kid from next door, his niece, and those were just the powered veterans. And he was not super excited about any of their help.
"...Yeah, I've got people," He ended up muttering. He had people he didn't think were great at teaching. But his own hardheadedness might've also been a factor since he wasn't about to take orders from the likes of Valhalla, better known in his brain as the wimpy kid his sister used to beat up when they were preteens, or even his sister, for that matter.
Instead he decided to wheel around to ask, "What's the Dark Mirror Court?" Okay, mirrors, this was progress, yes. Mimi walked through mirrors, Zia walked through mirrors. It was kind of like staring at a pile of disjointed puzzle pieces and finding glory in completing a corner piece.

"We're a group of senshi! We work for our Queen, and I guess we're Chaos and not Order, like the other senshi. But that's okay! I still think we can all be friends, if we just worked harder to figure each other out."
He shrugged and seemed to know that, one day, there would be peace. Be it the peace that the Dark Mirror Court was thinking of or not was beyond his ability to see, but he was hoping so. It seemed the most reasonable in his head, but then, he was rather gullible and naive.
So there was that.
He looked at Alfheim and tilted his head to the side.
"I don't know very much about the knights. I know that other knights don't like me fighting them, which is okay because I don't like fighting in general! Do you guys have a King or Queen that you follow? Did they awaken you?" That was how he was awakened, after all.

"Queen?" Well, knights and all, royal figures didn't seem too far off. Still, it was a factor on the list of 'things people neglected to tell Alfheim.'
"Okay, so, you aren't like chibi senshi or the other... kind..." Well it's not like he'd gotten proper introductions from them, either. His brow knitted when Virtus talked about figuring each other out, and his biggest question was bubbling to the surface again. "So why are we supposed to fight? This Chaos slash Order thing doesn't make any sense." Zia told him not fighting was dangerous, but, then, Alfheim hadn't been bitten yet and he was starting to wonder if that entire facet of the war was just Zia and her friends having terrible tempers.
"I wasn't awakened by anybody, it just kind of happened," He explained, thinking back and trying to untangle the mess that was awakening. "I dunno, it was out of nowhere. Someone said it was because I grabbed this," He unclipped the bottle from his belt and turned the empty thing around in his hands, frowning. He still didn't know what he was supposed to be doing with it.

Virtus shook his head a few times, at the start of Alfheim's statement about chibi senshi, until he trailed off.
"No, we don't have any little kids on our team. I don't really know why order has such young people fighting but then maybe they are doing something really important that I don't know about! And hopefully safe, because I hate the idea of a little senshi getting hurt."
He hated the idea of anyone getting hurt.
"I'm not really sure! I know everyone has their reasons, and that we're all trying to do what we think is necessary. But I feel like some people take it too far, and no one is really trying to work together, so we're always going to be working in opposite directions."
He looked at the bottle in wonder when it was shown to him, still pondering the war until he saw it and then becoming completely distracted by it.
"That had all your power in it and it awakened you?! Do all knights have a bottle?! That's amazing! I want to find one! Well, no, I guess I can't because I'm already a Dark Senshi. Or could I be a Knight Senshi?!"

"Maybe they just kind of happened too?" He suggested in the respect of chibi senshi. The entire concept of an awakening happening any different was lost on Alfheim. It was such a confusing blast of random cosmic lightening that he couldn't possibly perceive anyone controlling it enough to make it happen.
And then he started going on and on about the bottle and Alfheim just kind of stared wide eyed and confused. He was the one with questions, here! And this kid just started spouting off a bunch that soared so far over his head they might've hit the stratosphere.
There was a brief moment of silence from the page while he stared like a deer in the headlights before he finally answered with, "I... I just... kid, I have noooo idea."

"I guess they must have!" Virtus chirped agreeably. It was just as good an explanation as any other, and since he heard that most of the Order side of things just woke up one day and were suddenly powered, then it made just as much sense that the Chibi Senshi just came into being. He did not need a better explanation, and he didn't ask for one.
But if someone came along and gave him one, he'd appreciate that too!
Virtus was too excited with his new goals and efforts to really spare any more thought to how Senshi were made. He wanted to enjoy this new fun that was just around the corner for him, this quest to become a Senshi Knight and be even more useful to his Court. Just think what he could learn if he found one of those bottles?!
"Well, I'll figure out more and I'll let you know if I find anything, okay? That way we can both learn!"

"Are you really allowed to do that?" Alfheim's train of thought had gone from amusement, gratitude, to confusion. "I mean, I... nevermind," It just felt awkward pointing out that they were supposed to be enemies at this point. He still hadn't clashed with the court on a level that would get that in his head. Also information was always nice! Especially when it was about stuff that would probably be important for him to know since his knowledge level was too low to inform the poor senshi that there were not random bottles of knight power floating around. He got zapped to a fortress in a field on god knows where, for all he knew, there very well could be!
"Yeah. Thanks."

Virtus was not enemies with anyone, at least not on purpose. He was totally loyal to his court, and he did drain energy and do things that angered the White Moon quite often, but he never did anything malicious on purpose and certainly did nt go out of his way to hurt anyone else.
It was just a better idea to have friends and keep things happy and nice. After all, they were all already working so hard for their own goals, why make it harder than it needed to be?
"Well, I hope I see you again some time! I should probably get out of here now! I am getting a little sleepy, if I'm honest!"
And he was, all the time.
But he meant what he promised. He would share any information he found about this whole things, and make sure to check in once he was a knight senshi of the dark mirror. Because it was just not something he would be able to keep to himself.

The promise to share information was too nice. And it kind of made Alfheim's stomach twist. But not in a way that had much to do with any suspicion of the DMC senshi next to him. It was more of a 'I am going to be in so much trouble' sinking feeling because way too many of his friends and family seemed to think he should've punched Virtus' face off by now and he just... didn't have it in him.
At all.
"Ha, okay," He said, flopping his hands on his knees as he sat upright a little instead of leaning on the bench back. "Thanks for the talk, man. I won't keep you," And he waved him off as they part ways.
