This warren has yet to be named.
- Once Meta is underway a new thread will open where people can suggest names for the new warren. After Meta finishes a poll will start up with the most preferred nominations and the winning name will become the name for this warren.

This warren is female dominant.
- In the tradition of the story, once Hrairvaorah passed, her daughter (unnamed, we will leave that up to the people in the new warren to decide) became Chief. Under her guidance a lot of things changed.
..... - It became traditional for the Captain of Owsla to be male, and the Chief female. They may be a closely mated couple, or not at all, but in times of emergency if the Chief happened to be pregnant, the Captain would step into the role while she kittened.
..... - The new Chief is almost always the daughter of the last Chief, and as normal in just about every warren, a new Chief is typically an Owsla first.
..... - Females became more dominant in the roles of Owsla, the sense being that males would protect the warren itself, and Owsla protected the rabbits at the warren or abroad. Male Owsla are often bucks that are already in a good mark and have proven themselves. This is important as the next Captain of Owsla is normally picked from the Owsla bucks.
..... - This doesn't mean females get a free pass. They have to prove themselves, just like any other.
..... - Females of high respect and rank often will have males fight over her. Originally this caused several wounds and unnecessary bloodshed, so females took to 'marking' their favorite males. This has become traditional with time. Some females choose only one male, some choose several (in which case there is probably in-house fighting I'd imagine) and some don't mark any at all. That is to the player's digression.
..... - A 'mark' for this warren is more of a house standard. It doesn't denote you as being a lesser or more important class (well, except when someone marked by a prestigious family rubs it in for a rabbit that isn't). Consider it more of being given a last name.
..... - A mark can be anything. It could be physical, such as a scar in the right place, a chunk missing in the right ear, or it could be as simple as being invited to live in the female's burrow and everyone knowing just by how you smell where you belong.
..... - Males have every right to say no, and often males that are born of good standard are fought over themselves by females to try and be the first to mark him.
..... - In regards to the mating season, there may only be two female Owsla permitted to breed. Once their kittens are adults another two are allowed. This is to prevent the Owsla being weakened by so many gone. Often an Owsla doe will kitten and nurse her young until they are old enough to silflay on their own and she'll return to duty; letting the males of her mark (if she has any) finish rearing the kittens if she is absent for a long time.
..... - Runners are a mixed lot, both male and female. Male runners are very prized, but female runners are often snubbed in favor of Owsla does. Though a good doe runner with a pretty coat might find herself being fought over just the same.
..... - Storytellers and Seers are often male, and a good storyteller is prized if he is good with kittens.

Your mark is a Family Crest, keep that in mind.
- Being invited into a family is a high honor. Males are 'turned out' of their mother's burrow and family mark when they're outskirters, and at that time start to look for ways to prove themselves in hopes of being invited to join another family and earn a new mark. What your rabbit does or doesn't do indeed reflects on your whole mark. You can either help build or destroy a reputation that way.

In general, life is a bit more vicious.
- With so much pressure to prove themselves, this warren is much more military minded so to speak. Rabbits without rank and without mark are often scrambling to make a good impression on someone or taking on dangers in the hopes of getting noticed. A rabbit without much promise or drive might never mate in such a setting, and many of them choose to leave and become hlessi rather than have to peck and scuffle for every crumb.

As questions are asked or problems are addressed, this will grow, edit and change.
- This warren will be the first to not be lead by the staff. A lot of the development and growth will be dependent on regulars and RPers that start to work in this setting, and the staff here will try to accommodate accordingly.
