The Hunters were founded in the year 85 A.D. within the disguise of the Roman Consulship of the Empire. Its founder's name was secret, going only by Lucis. Few knew that in truth Lucis was two beings, Ankmalias and Rastinith Voltiri of the Heavenly Host. Angels leading mortal soldiers against the monsters of the world The Hunters were founded to fight against the growing population of Nephilim, half demon spawn; abominations. They were trained by Lucis and soon began to engage the beings they saw as monsters in war.
The scale of battles grew in size until the age of the Crusades, when a massive army or Hunters and their allies took on the Niphilim and their demonic parents. At their sides were Seraph and Immortal, all seeking to destroy the forces of Evil in the world. Many were lost and the Hunters fell in number during the last battle at Jerusalem. But victory was their's, and the survivors returned to Rome and began to train the next generation of Hunters.
Through the years the Hunters gained power. Over the years few battles were fought, but events were orchestrated to destroy large groups of Nephilim. The fire of 1906 in San Francisco was the direct result of the destruction of a Vampyre Coven. Throughout history the Hunters have taken out large groups of the Nephilim now called Paranormals and continue to prepare for another war.
Currently the leaders of the Hunters are William Hayes and the Seraph soon to be sent to take over for Ankmalias, who has gone missing. They search for her, and seek to quell the dangerous uprisings now exploding across the globe. The world needs their protectors again, and the Hunters are ready.
