It wasn't often that Achilles heard of a target that he felt was truly worth pursuing. Most of the time he found himself chasing cowardly usurpers or stallions who had deluded themselves into thinking they were important. But this time was unique...once because he was following a mare and another because by all accounts she was a warrior. A good one.

Certainly she had kept him moving, her trail had not been difficult to follow - it was clear she wasn't actively trying to hide from anyone but she was moving quickly and as such he had been unable to close the distance between them enough to really get a good look at her, to start to formulate a plan. He needed more eyes and as such he had spoken to the local ravens and came up with a name. A mare in the area was known to be good at finding and handling information - ravens always seemed to know these individuals - and after pondering it only briefly he'd sent one of the birds to try and set up a meeting. Would it be helpful? Hard to say..but it was worth a try.

The raven that came searching for her indicated someone who wanted to hire her. It wasn't new to see a raven or some other smaller messenger sent instead of the Soquili in question searching her out. And it was probably for the best as her work kept her on the move quite frequently so it would be hard to find her in one particular spot for long unless she happened to be gathering information there at the time. Many of her past clients had used ravens, they were swift and smart birds so were perfect messengers for such instances. Of course not all of them woke her up unnecessarily early either. Some one much really be desperate for her services or this raven was a first timer. Could just be the bird itself, some were so determined to deliver their message that they would wake her up without thinking, this was one of those ravens.

After a short flight Camaria came to the mentioned meeting spot. Setting down a good distance away from the stallion she let her eyes fall upon the spotted pelt. "I should have figured it was you when I saw the raven. You always had a fondness for those birds. Though you might want to tell that one that unless it's an emergency to not wake someone up." She cast an annoyed look at the raven who had flown here with her. "Been a few years since you last contacted me for something, was beginning to think you had gotten killed." She let her eyes flow over his body for a moment. A few new scars but in his line of work that was nothing special. "So what is it that I can help you with Achilles?"

Achille waited in barely constrained patience for the mare to arrive, when she did and he took note of her blue hair and pale cream toned hide her was much impressed. Oh sure he had considered the possibility that it would be her when he heard the name but he had not put to much stock into that wondering..if anything spies tended to have even shorter lifespans then assassins. The mere fact that she had managed to keep herself intact this long was a testament to her skills. How lucky for him as it meant he would not need to spend a great deal of time working things out with a stranger - and he would be able to put more trust in the results.

He gave the mare a look of disdain when she spoke. "Me? Killed by a target..Camaria, I thought I had taught you to have more faith in me then that." He replied, ignoring her remark about the birds other then to cast a look to the raven that had returned. He did like Ravens - they were smarter then most of the others...and still small enough to slip through the forest without drawing undue attention as they went. He liked owls too but they were so very hindered in the daytime no matter how quietly they could fly.

Drawing closer he circled the mare, giving her a sly look. "I see that you've done well for yourself..in good shape." Weather the remark was meant to be anything more then a simple observation was hard to say. It had been delivered in a bland tone but the glint in his eye might well be a clue that he was trying to rouse her a little bit. "I'm looking or a mare..by all accounts a male hating warrior mare who travels with her sister..who is crazy. One is pale - a palomino, the other a bay. It's the Palomino I seek but the bay will lead you to her."

"Oh I have faith in you Achilles...it's the other informants that you've clearly been using that I don't trust." He had to be using other informants since he hadn't been contacting her in so long. Or perhaps he was doing all the grunt work of gathering the information himself. That was unlikely, but she supposed if any other informant that he used proved to be completely unreliable he would have little choice but to do the work himself. Well whatever job he had in mind for her must be important to seek her out after all this time. It was luck that she was in the area having recently finished up with another job, a mare that wanted her mate watched because she suspected that he had another mare on the side. The sad thing was he did and Camaria left the angry mare after delivering the bad news. Her work was done and so no need to stick around to watch her scream at her now ex-mate when he returned.

Her eyes followed him as he circled around her. "I stay on top of the game Achilles, I always have." She responded back knowing that his comment, while made in a plain tone, was a compliment to her skills. When he mentioned his target her brows raised a bit. A mare? He was searching out a mare as his target? It was an interesting twist she was not expected. In the previous times she had worked for him he had always gone after stallions. "I didn't know you were in the business of killing mares." It wasn't that she was turning down the job, not yet and rarely did she ever, but it was clear this job would be difficult and likely one of her least liked given the target. What mare deserved to be assassinated? "So a palomino warrior and her crazy bay sister. Is that all you have for me to work with?" She wanted to question why he was targeting a mare, but she tended to wait to see if that information would be provided before poking for it.

"My, my...is that a bit of jealousy in your tone?" Achilles stated with a slightly quirked brow. Was Camaria angry that he had been using other informants..unlikely but he couldn't help but torment her about the comment just a little bit. Achilles did so like to get a rise out of those around him as often as he could. Life was so boring when everyone got along.

At least she didn't turn down the job outright - which had been a chance given that it was a mare he was after. Society was so one sided..everyone was willing to turn over a traitor stallion but few were willing to turn over a mare who committed the same crimes. Absurdity. "I'm in the business of killing anyone who needs killing." Achilles replied in a sugar sweet voice. Except foals of course but foals were not capable of committing the crimes necessary to garner his type of attention and so he thought that was a given and did not need to be expressed. "They have been heading in the same general direction for quite some time now...but are canny enough to hide their trail, tracking them by foot is too difficult when they employ such tricks and so I employ you to find them by air so that I might head directly to them instead of puzzling out their tricks." He motioned in the direction they have been traveling "I am told the crazy one wears a pelt of some sort, surely you are capable of finding them with that much of a description." He challenged her.

She scoffed as his accusation of being jealous. Heck no she wasn't jealous! Perhaps a bit irked that he felt the need to go to other information broker over herself. True she had been busy lately and likely would have struggled to juggle another job but damn it she loved her work and any day she was sitting around doing nothing because no one had contacted her to do something wore on her more than another getting the job because she was too busy. Still she could play along with his ways, since she knew him fairly well at this point. "Perhaps. After all, I would gain a bit of fame if I were the one responsible for you death, even if it was indirectly from giving you bad information. I don't want that title passed on to one of these other unworthy informants."

Allowing the conversation to shift back to the true taste at hand Camaria nodded. "Much like I am in the business of informing those who require various types of information." At least he was careful with his targets, studied them, ensured they were truly the one he needed to kill instead of just blindly killing because he could. Even so, Camaria had to admit the idea of killing a mare was unsettling. She wondered just what this mare had done in order to get on Achilles hit list. But she wouldn't turn down the job, not until she had investigated it a bit more, then she would truly decide if she would deliver the information to Achilles or tell him the deal was off. "This may take some time." She finally shifted her full business mode. "If they prove to be difficult to track from the ground they may also be from the air. And if they are simply traveling it may take me a while to figure out your best approach and how to deal with them. Especially if they come as a pair, you are only after the palomino correct? Or will her sister be rolled into the deal if she proves to be part of the equation?" She paused for a moment considering his extra information about the darker mare. A pelt? As in a skinwalker? That couldn't be. "It will be enough to allow me to find them." She still didn't like it, this would likely be her hardest assignment yet and all because of the targets gender. "Will you be staying in the area or is there a certain place you wish to meet one I have gathered the information?"

Now it was Achilles turn to scoff at her words, like any of his targets were capable of actually finishing him off. He was Achilles...the greatest warrior to come out of his herd in untold generations! No mere want to be warrior - as his targets generally happened to be - would ever take down the mighty Achilles and so he answered her remarks with a stare of utter disbelief and amusement. Really...the things that came out of others mouths sometimes.

In any case he was here for a job not to spend time righting his informants misguided thoughts. "Of course. The sister is not the target..and I have no desire to kill a mare who is not quite right in the head..unless she proves troublesome and it cannot be avoided I do not intend on fighting her as well." He told her on the matter of time and target - while he preferred to handle jobs quickly if possible, he was never one to rush without thinking, that was a stupidity he left to younger foolish creatures. In his line of work it payed to be more careful then swift. "I will continue to track them from the ground as best I can." He told her.

Although he didn't come right out and say it his words certainly implied that he had caught on to her possible sensitivity to his target and wasn't going to take the chance on her failing to provide him what he asked for while he waited around and his targets slipped away. That would be so very annoying and troublesome.

A smug smile crossed Camaria's lips as Achilles gave her that look. It wasn't what she would typically say in the situation but he was teasing her as much as she was teasing him. Though she tended to stick to the more serious side while in business discussions it helped this time to ease the discomfort she felt over having to track a mare down with a bit of humor.

But now it was fully back to business and Camaria nodded. It was good to know the sister would only become involved if she left Achilles no other choice. If they did travel as a pair then that was a likely scenario but Camaria had to hold onto the hope that Achilles could do the job without the extra death. Not that she still felt right about him killing a mare, but she reserved her final judgement for when she had the time to scope the pair out. "Then you will be easy to find when I have made my observations." There was nothing else to be said, he had given her what information he could and was willing to share and now it was up to her to find out the rest. She took a step back and began to unfurl her wings. Eying Achilles for a moment the winged mare finally gave him a nod and took to the air. While her mind was racing about the implications of killing a mare and what Achilles said she did have a job to do, like it or not. Wheeling in the air she gained a bit of altitude before heading off in the direction Achilles had indicated. Hopefully this one would work out in the end.
