His journal has a blue, hand-knit cover. He insists it's a knitting journal, and to some degree it is due to the fact he puts patterns he designs or enjoys using in it. But he also leaves little tidbits about his day and other sorts of trivial subjects, so for simplicity's sake we shall call it a journal. His handwriting is neat, and the book is well kept.
