Super Chibi Sailor Ambrosia. Now that was a mouthful. The magical girl the name attached to was strolling down her street, admiring the chirstmas lights that her neighbors had put up. Four houses down, the trim was sparkling with icicle lights that faded from white to blue and back. They cast lovely blue lights on the snow below that reflected the light right back. The house next to it was far more elaborate. Green and red lights trailed along the angles of the entire house, and a light up Santa was pulled by plastic reindeer across the front of the lawn. It waved from its grounded position, and Ambrosia smiled. The real Santa would find this decoration very funny.

Her street ended, and she decided that farther in the city would be a logical place to go. Maybe the stores will have their lights up as well! She chose a straight shot to the main part of Destiny City, leaping over bushes and fences. Neighbors would wake up to find tiny footprints in the snow in their backyards, but most of them would shrug it off with mutterings of raccoons or rabbits.

Christmas lights were always Ambrosia's favorite part of Christmas. Besides Santa of course. Everyone was always so creative with how they put up lights and there was an unspoken competition between people to see who could create the most pleasing arrangement. Once the buildings became taller and grew closer together, Ambrosia took her trek to the rooftops, climbing a fire escape to reach her high up perches. For there she jumped for building to building, leaning over the edges carefully to admire the lights below her. Since there were streetlights here, the lights didn't have as much intensity as her neighborhood. The shops were close together as well, meaning less space for each shopkeeper to be creative with. But the clusters of happy little lights came together to create wonderful displays, especially where the adjacent shopkeepers had worked together.

Ambrosia sung her legs over the edge of a building, leaning with her arms propped on her knees. The toy store across the street was practically buzzing with activity. Kind of like a hive she thought absently. People were milling about, crushing those on the outer edge into the window display. The window display is what caught her eye in the first place. The glass was ringed with tiny white Christmas lights wrapped in what looked like the fluff from stuffed animals. The stands in the display were wrapped in the same material, and toys spilled from platform to the window sill. Children's faces reflected in the glass, adding merriment to the display. That merriment could be seen throughout the street. Ambrosia sighed. She wished she could join in that joy. Sometimes being a senshi was tough. She didn't get to sleep over at friend's houses because she had to patrol. Sometimes she fell asleep in class because she was out late. The hardest part was coming up with excuses for why she was frequently seen with bruises or scrapes from fighting youma. If only she played some sport that could get her out of those questions from her mom...

The tinkle of christmas music from below brought her full attention back down to the street below. A child bounced out of the toy shop, clutching a music box as if someone was going to come up and snatch it at any moment. The little box rang out a tune reminiscent of jingle bells. Ambrosia couldn't see what the music box was decorated with. She watched the girl and her parents walk down the street to another store. The girl set the music box down to pull herself up on another window sill, peering at the wares inside. When her mother called for her, she ran off after her, leaving the music box behind.

Ambrosia jumped from her seat, using a drain pipe to slide down the side of the building. She came away rubbing her hands to quell the sting, remembering not to do that again unless it was an emergency. Traffic stopped at a red light, and she quickly ran across the street, ignoring the looks of wonder and amusement she was getting from the people around her. She scooped up the music box, tucking it close to her body. Her green eyes scanned the crowd, before spotting the back of the girl's sweater. She dodged through the crowd, twisting around someone ladled with presents. Her eyes were fixed on the family. Finally as they passed by the fountain, the girl realized what she was missing and spun around, crying out to her parents her plight. They stopped and looked at her. As the tears welled up in her eyes, Ambrosia broke through the crowd and skidded to a halt in front of her.

The girl stared up at her with amazement, while her parents questioned her choice of clothing on such a cold night. Ambrosia bent and pulled the music box from her body, holding it out to the girl.

"I think you forgot something." She said sweetly, pressing the toy into her hands while she sniffed and looked down shyly. Her parents thanked Ambrosia with smiles and Ambrosia smiled back before rising to her feet. "What's your name?" the father asked, placing a hand on his daughter's shoulder.

"Ambrosia." the senshi replied. "Super Chibi Sailor Ambrosia." Yes, it really was a mouthful. Both of the adults looked thoroughly confused, and Ambrosia left it at that, running off without so much as a look back. The small girl finally looked up and grinning broadly, waved to the honey bow of the girl who helped her.
