iPhones/smartphones are crap magnets. I've enabled half a dozen privacy and child blocks on my number and I still get bombarded with scammy junk texts and telemarketers. Makes me seriously consider getting a basic phone with a nice 3G/LTE tablet when my contract is up.
@Brase: You could have regular dialed them back to see if it was someone you know. Maybe they were with someone who was like, "check out my new iPhone! I can't wait to use FaceTime!" and then they were like, "I know someone with an iPhone, that Brase guy... we could call him! It won't seem super creepy at all!"

That's a little rule I have.
If you dial me from a number I don't know, leave a voicemail so I know it's you.
emotion_donotwant I think you're right, though. The day before I deactivated my facebook I gave this girl who I hadn't talked to since highschool my number. I think it was her. *ponders*
I only got one junk text, but it was two days ago and I am pretty sure that basically means "Hey, your number's out there. Bend over and get ready for bombardment"
