A large stretch of the highway directly outside of the city is lane-to-lane blocked off with abandoned cars. Getting a vehicle through the mess is almost impossible, but some of the cars left behind are still in working order. Some are armed with alarms, so use caution when breaking in to search for supplies. The cars can provide a decent cover for a sudden horde, but they can also obstruct your vision.
