Sailor Minkowski was patrolling, or at least that's what she told herself.

Truth be told, she wasn't really patrolling, per say, as much as she was simply... outside. Without much combat experience, and without a clear idea as to what help she could be on her own, the petite senshi of butterflies had eventually resigned herself to 'taking a break', as she might have called it, sitting on a park bench to collect her thoughts. There hadn't been any youma so far, or at least none that she had encountered, so that was a good thing; she felt a little less guilty about neglecting her 'duties'... whatever they were.

... Honestly, what was she thinking? She wasn't any more knowledgeable about what was going on than she had months ago, and Minkowski certainly had no idea what she would do if she did encounter a youma.

Maybe this was a hopeless cause. Maybe she was a hopeless cause. Getting back to her feet, Minkowski continued on her way, sort of patrolling and sort of not patrolling. ... This was going to be a long night.

To say Minkowski was caught offguard by Zia's appearance would have been an understatement. It had been a quiet enough night to where she had assumed nobody else would be out this late, after all. The fact that Zia seemed to know what she had been (sort of) looking for confused her further... bit maybe she just happened to be friends with a few senshi?

"Oh! ... Really?" she replied, trying not to look like she was still a little spooked, "I guess it really is a quiet night, then. That's good..."

As they continued along, Minkowski said nothing at first, before rememberung something.

"I'm sorry, I should say who I am! I'm Sailor Minkowski, the senshi of butterflies," she said, before pausing.

"Um... who are you?"

"Oh, I see," was all Minkowski could say, as she shook Zia's hand, "It's nice to meet you, Zia."

It made about as much sense as anything else, really, but who was she to judge? She had yet to meet a lot of people, anyway. As Zia began to tug on the bow on Minkowski's fuku, the senshi tried to keep from being too terribly flustered over this action. Cute? Well, Minkowski did sort of find the fuku cute, but for someone else to call her cute?

"T... Thanks, I think...?" Minkowski managed to respond. At the mention of powers though, she couldn't help but look a little downcast.

"I wish I could be more useful, though," she confessed, "I can't do much on my own."

Minkowski hesitated as she tried to come up with a way to explain herself, fidgeting slightly. Why couldn't she do things on her own, indeed? Senshi were supposed to be able to fend for themselves, right?

"I don't actually have an attack," she finally confessed, "It's more like... I can heal a little bit- heal another senshi or... I guess anyone on our side."

It was embarrassing, admitting this to a total stranger, but Zia had wanted to know, and Minkowski didn't want to be rude.

"... To be honest, um... I'm afraid to fight on my own, too. I don't really know how to fight youma very well- I'm still learning a lot of things."

Sailor Minkowski was kind of a loser.

Oh, well now she felt a little ashamed to have been embarrassed at being a healer. There was still the feeling of helplessness (as Minkowski wanted to be able to at least try to help fight as well), but Zia's words made her rethink her outlook on being a senshi a little.

"Ah, I'm sorry!" she blurted out, as Zia showed her the scars, "You're right, healers are important, too, it's just- I just..."

Minkowski bit her lip, a conflicted look on her face; she was beginning to realize she was sounding fairly pathetic.

"I guess that's alright, then. I can still help other people, even if I can't really fight- that's good, too."

Minkowski always tried to be polite when it came to personal space, and other people invading hers, or, rather, she usually tried to not be that kind of person to get terribly offended or uncomfortable by other people's actions.

That resolve was kind of fading at the moment, though. Maybe Zia was raised differently, who knew?

"I... guess so," Minkowski managed to stammer out, "I'm not really sure who to go to for training, but I guess I can, um... think about it a little more."
