It was a beautiful beginning of summer night, and the grass was bright green, healthy, and soft as ever. To the grass she seemed so small but to her the world was just to big and she was lucky to be apart of it. The breeze blew gently as she lay stomach first on the soft green grass. As Kamaria glanced at the sky above she couldn't help but gaze in awe. The stars in the sky were always there, always looking back at the earth below. They never left their post and they always shined so brightly. In her eyes this was one of the glorious wonders of the world. "They look but do not judge. They shine but yet they never gloat. The stars are so different from us who gaze at their beauty," she whispered loudly as she turned onto her back in the grass.

Hasha had never really looked at the stars or anything about the night before now. The night was just another day change. A change from what yesterday was to what today is. A strange way to think of it he knew, but it was his way of mind every since he had been a rouge. The world was just one big rotation and it would continue that way for all of their lifetimes.

So with all these thoughts in mind he took one step into the grass for his first step of the night. His hood shrouded his face and the bones rattled against his neck. He thought he would be out for just a normal stroll, but this changed as he heard some words on the wind. The words caused him to stop in his tracks and ponder, "did they really not judge? or were they always judging?"

Kamaria smiled and turned her head around at the sign of footsteps stopping. "Well hello there," she said calmly as she returned her eyes to the sky. "Aren't they just beautiful?" she said in envy, "They never seem to lose their beauty, no matter how many years they have been shining. Amazing isn't it?"

The stars would always fascinate her no matter how old she grew. They were there her whole life, always watching her and being there when no one else was. It was as if they were guarding her world and making sure that we always knew something would be there. That no matter what left you, every night or so they would return and keep you company with there lights.

He couldn't help but smile underneath his cover. She was right they were just stunning he thought as he moved his head to the sky. "It truly is my friend," he said in his rough sounding voice. The more he looked the more he saw the shining of each star, and as he followed the shine he looked down the ground. The stars were what had lite his path every night and until now he had payed them no heed.

It was hard to believe that he really wasn't as alone as he thought. After all the stars night after night were always trying there best to help him from as far away as they were. Yet he never even gave them one ounce of thanks.

"Hmm I suppose I should be saying thanks to them then huh?" he said with a chuckle and slight grin as his hood slowly slid down onto him shoulders.

"Though are you sure they don't judge us? I mean after all they get to see all our mistakes and actions. They know when we do something wrong," he said since the thought had popped right back into his head.

She just smiled and nodded, "I believe we both should. Though they probably already know we are thankful maybe." Her words came from her believe that the stars may know more about us than we them. That they watch us each day and learn who each of us are as a being.

She listened to her words and quickly shook her head side to side. "No I am not certain they don't, though in my heart I believe they don't. My reasoning is I think they might envy us. I mean we get to explore and live. They are restrained to their place in the sky. I mean honestly they might just be jealous of us." As she finished she let out a laugh and smiled towards the stranger.

"Oh and I am Kamaria," she said as her coat began to random glow.

"It is a pleasure, as for I, I am Hasha'shin. Though you can just call me Hasha," He said in return to his new wandering friend. Slowly his eyes wandered to her coat, and his eyes grew big.

"Your coat is fascinating, for it's just like the night sky, Is that why you are such a big fan?" he questioned out of curiosity. For to him her heart seemed to be filled with love for the stars. Almost like the stars were apart of who she was, apart of her soul.

He had never seen that in someone before now. It was definitely something envious. Though the more she spoke the more he learned and the more he wondered. "I can see your point, their life actually sounds quite lonely and empty," he said before continuing his words, "I wonder what they would say about our lives and about us if they could talk..."

This stranger was definitely a lot more interesting than most she had met. She glanced to him and nodded. He had figured out what most would never find out about her.

"Well nice to meet you as well Hasha, and why thank you,"
she said with a bright smile, "Though yes it has something to with it. I almost feel like I am apart of the sky sometimes. Like the stars of the sky are my family, since I never was fortunate to have a earthly family." As she finished her smile remained and her coat began to glow even brighter in the starlight.

"I wonder as well though I imagine it would be something like, can I borrow your legs?"
she said with a laugh. The stars would probably say just that. since she was sure they would probably want to experience life like we had the chance too.

Hasha couldn't help but let him bellowing laugh escape his mouth. "I suppose they would after all, they do need some way to get around," he said as his laugh still lightly continued.

In one night he had begun to feel like his life was something actually worth living. Something he should feel lucky to have, and it was all do to the words of a being so much smaller than himself.

"Well you are not alone there, I myself have no earthly family,"
he said trying to still crack a grin. "Though I believe that now maybe I have. The stars are like family to ever wanderer I suppose."

The stars are always there and even in your worst they will still shine for you. No matter what they were always there, and until tonight he had never really seen how much they were there for him and all those he had run into on his adventures.

Kamaria was beginning to quite enjoy this strangers company. He was one who was willing to listen to her ideas and even was able to understand her. A rare run-in indeed she decided in her mind.

"That they do," she said with a slight laugh escaping her lips.

"I am glad to meet someone else who had no earthly family, Though I still believe we may have been more fortunate than those who do have them. We have a whole sky on our side after all," she finished her words with a joking wink.

As she finished she looked at the horizon and noticed the sun was beginning to start its change of shift.

"Well I am afraid it is time for me to go, it was a pleasure having your company, and I hope our paths will cross again one day,"
she said with a smile as she got to her feet.

"May the stars be with you," she said happily as she began to walk off. The night sky following her it seemed and her coats shine slowly faded as she walked away.

Hasha agreed with a nod, they were very lucky. The stars are a great ally to have on your side after all.

Watching her begin to walk away he shouted after her, "I'm sure we will and when we do I will be looking forward to it. It was a pleasure hearing your thoughts Kamaria," he spoke quickly as he lifted his hood back onto his head with his front paws.

"Keep on shining!" he yelled to her before walking in the opposite direction. Off into the horizon to see what adventures may come his way this day. He wondered as he walked off what might keep him company in the daylight, until the stars came back out to shine.

His head was full of knowledge and thoughts that he would never forget no matter how many new ones came his way. Today he learned the stars do guide someone in their own special way.
