She felt better than she had in a long time, despite the snow outside. Shehk had no love for the snow, her cold body having no real desire to actually move in it, but sitting out on one of the benches overlooking the school grounds and watching everybody play in it was rather pleasant, at the very least. A few students were building snowboils, another was attempting to make a castle of some sort (was that Tomoko?), and many were throwing snowballs at each other.
She imagined that was the fun part of it. Playing. It likely wouldn't have left her so cold to be running around out in it, yet it was obvious that the pricolici had no concept of what to wear for 'warmth' in the snow. She didn't live in the snow. Snow was a strange uninvited visitor who brought fruit cake for Christmas and then ran away with your gingerbread house while you weren't looking and then left coal in everybody's stockings to make them really confused.
At least, that's how it felt to her. Unnatural. She looked even more unnatural dressed as she usually was sitting out in the cold, however. But what else was there to do that day anyways?

Frost dressed ill for the snow as many would have put it. His outfit hardly changed, but then, he had no need to change his dress for the shift in weather. Snow was his old friend, even if laced with joy. His ‘element’, the frozen water was his medium of travel, shifting in and out of it to get around the school at a far faster rate than normal. Granted, he had grown a sudden fondness for the color red with green accents but what could he do, he was slightly.. infected. A small price to pay for his enjoyment of the change of scenery.
As he wandered, his nose caught the scent of a familiar female and his fur bristled. Alpha. He was reluctant to admit it, but she’d asserted herself his better, and it was his place to acknowledge the role he played. Shehk, who’d claimed the role of alpha, not of a pack but of simple power rank. She had thrown her weight into the scrap and come out on top. He had… and Frost had lost. Badly. Red eyes found the ghoul sitting alone and he sighed. At the very least, she did not have others with her. Lowering himself was not a pleasing thing, it was a bitter pill to swallow, but it was his duty to maintain his place. He was third as he knew. Third was still a rank, two from the top. Dressed just as poorly as her, the wolfos got close, a small wuff to alert her before moving in, bending down to expose his neck to her. He was still aware of his rank. If she wished to maintain it however- he dearly hoped not.

Shehk hadn't really been expecting much out of the day, but the wuff caused her ears to perk up, looking towards the Wolfos as he stepped in an- okay, neck to the face. Having not spent much time in a pack orientation, she seemed to be briefly puzzled for a moment with what he was doing.
Puzzled until a small switch flicked in the back of her head and she leaned in, licking across the front of the boil's neck and even lightly pressing her teeth against it - but nothing more than that when she pulled away before she motioned to the spot on the bench next to her, offering him the seat silently.
"Seems like your element has come to visit." she said simply.

There was a moment of nothing and he was nearly ready to pull away before the feeling on tongue and teeth came a slight stiffening, he shuddered then relaxed as fangs left his skin. Pulling up, red eyes went to the offered seat, sitting down as she motioned to the empty spot. It was odd, to have an alpha with no pack, not a formal one at any rate. Still, rank was rank. He’d obey. Flicking his tail , white flecks of snow and ice that lingered in his fur fell away, leaving a small missing hole, quickly filled with fresh snow. “So it has. Though, it’s a bit… infected.” He shook out his hair, more fleck of snow falling away. “I do not get it as badly as others, as snow is a part of what I am but-“ He motioned to his clothes, the normal blues replaced with reds, the greys warm, no longer cool. Green accenting here and there. “It fades thankfully.” His gaze traveled to her form and outfit. “What of you? Enjoying the weather, as… confusing as it may be?”

Shehk had not adopted the red and green attire anything further than a scarf that was draped loosely around her neck. She did, however, briefly ponder what the Wolfos would look like in all green. A bit heroic, actually.
Taking a moment to brush a few of the flecks of snow off of her shoulder, she leaned back. "I do not like the snow as much. Bad memories and.." she stretched out one leg, the motion stiff and uncomfortable looking. "When you have flesh and blood not so willingly pumping through it, the cold has a way of effecting you."
She flicked his finger with a hand. "But it is rare and I will try to find some enjoyment out of it."

Frost would never wear all green, the accents were as far as he’d go. And even then he was pushing it. “I’m sorry to hear that. Snow has always been a part of me. Afraid I cannot relate.” Born in a snow storm, with Frost forming on the edges of the den. A look into the ‘winter wonderland’ and he felt a sudden pang of longing. He wondered how his mother and siblings were doing, his father, his uncle. The pack. He wondered if they were enjoying the season as he was. He knew they would be really, this was their time, when they would be having their own hunts and the like. He missed it really. Red eyes back to Shehk, he noticed the small stiff motions. Habit perhaps, and he’d reluctantly admit, a bit of that intrinsic need, he pulled the top layer of his kimono off, draping it over her shoulders. “I would offer warmth if I had it, but out here I am just as cold as my element. My apologies alpha.”

"I wasn't expecting you to. It's in your name, even." she mused, unaware of the significance of being named 'Frost in the Storm' for him. Pulling the offered kimono further around her shoulders, she just smiled. "If you're colder to the touch then I am, I'm impressed." Not really, but she did touch the back of her hand to his neck testingly.
And to her surprise, he was colder than her, jerking her hand away suddenly with a frown. "Either way, I'm glad that you get a little bit of a taste of home." another small smile, and then she slumped, crossing her ankles. "It doesn't snow here often, so otherwise you need to go to Christmas Town and they're..." she made a face. "Testy..."

The ghost shrugged. “It’s not that impressive really. I don’t melt in the heat like an ice demon at the least. Get a bit more intangible, gain heat relative to air around me. Solidity and tangibility are not that related for my kind. A bit, but not by much. No snow we simply… accept it. Adapt. Spring is not as fun nor as easy to hunt in, but the warm months… they are nice in their own way.” Frost sighed. Many students disliked the snow, but really, it was an aspect of a season. Laced with odd effects or not. A look to Shehk, he shook his head. “Why anyone would visit that place I do not know. No FEAR, ugly dress wear, and they want everything to smile. If they are not smiling, they are as you say, hostile. Christmas is not a territory I wish to visit. Besides, why leave Halloween for snow? Get some ice, shave it, store it… it is not that hard. We are very lucky here, there are so many things built for comfort. I am still a bit amazed really at these whole ‘mobile applications’ things that students say they need. Light sword sound effects? Fruit assassins? I do not grasp it, even now. They are frivolous, yet I am told they are ‘must haves’.”

A small laugh. "I use my phone for contact. That's it. Someday I figure I'll disappear into the fog and nobody will see me again anyways, so without a way to charge a phone I shouldn't become..dependent." Not to say she wouldn't miss some things.
"Storing snow sounds like an interesting concept." she shared thoughtfully. "Shaving it sounds more like a good snack, however. Though I'll just take some straight up blood, myself."
Leaning onto her palm, she gave the Wolfos a long look of consideration. "Sounds like having a pack is a very different dynamic compared to being a lone creature."

Frost frowned. “The fog? I hope not, nothing good has come from it. You should not speak of such ills.” Red eyes stared at the female who established herself as his alpha. To go into the fog. “The fog is a fate for no one. You would be missed no doubt, not to mention that it would only create a mockery to torment others.” A shake of his head. Huffing, he looked back at the school. “I am afraid I can offer neither warmth nor blood Alpha. But I do believe the cafeteria can supply both. Not much for lasting warmth so much as just the ample bodies giving ambient rise in the room’s temperature.” Titling his head, he leaned over, licking at her chin for a small moment. “I have lived my life in packs, so I do what comes natural to me. You established yourself as my alpha, so I only do what is my duty. It is… odd however. As there is not a pack but.. more a power. Still, you are Alpha of me, as much as I might dislike it.” Even as he voiced discontent, his tone was calm, relaxed. Pulling away there was no judgment in his gaze, just a simple acceptance. “Is this your first time as an Alpha?”

Shehk gave Frost a look before she leaned in close to his face, blowing a slow billow of fog from her mouth as though she was exhaling cigarette smoke. "I came from fog, you know." she stated simply. "So perhaps I should be offended that nothing good comes from it."
However, she didn't call Frost out on anything further when he licked her chin, trying to not make another confused face. Instincts told her to roll with it - that it meant little more than a strange respect.
"I have been an Alpha before." she replied, though she looked into the snow as she said it. Skoll and Hati passed through her head for a moment, and then guilt. Those eyes they had made at her, the pathetic keel of the dark hound as.... she looked back to him, "not in a pack capacity. I have always been a lone creature."

He tilted his head as the fog rolled out. “….I thought you spoke of the other fog, the kind that well. Infects and corrupts.” Ears went back. He hadn’t known and now he’d gone and offended her. Din damn it all. He may not be fond, but it was no reason to insult. “My apologies. I was ignorant to your origins and meaning. “ He bared his throat for her again, wondering if she’d take it. Neck still offered, he continued, tail slowly curling under the bench. “Being pack alpha is different than being a lone alpha but we all come into our own. If you prove to be a poor alpha-“ Shoulders shrugged. “I have my rank. But if this is your first time…” Red eyes rolled to her direction, “is that why you hesitate?”

Again, she first licked his neck, then dragged her teeth across it, not biting, but asserting that she could. The then looked up to him, almost curiously.
"Hesitate? Hesitate to what? Bite your throat out?" she asked. "Because I could do so much worse if I was inclined to remain offended by your ignorance. But Ignorance is more easily forgiven."

“When I offered the first time you hesitated. The alphas I’ve had in the past were more assertive.” The light threat of her bite had him shudder before pulling back. He didn’t want his throat ripped out. Healable or not, it was painful, and it never guaranteed that you would dissipate. “I’m glad you do not rip out my throat for my words. I-“ he made a small whine in the back of his throat, “-how do you say, I lack a bit of tact at times. My uncle says I am merely forward, my elders called me disrespectful.” He sighed. “Then again, they said that about all the pups.” A small bit of silence before he asked. “Any reason you’ve never really been in a pack?”

Ah. He was referring to that moment of confusion. "I wasn't sure what you were doing." She answered. "I have not exactly been active in such behavior as I can remember." As long as she could remember she wasn't surrounded by hounds outside of...well, she tried to not think about them.
"I think your elders meant to emphasize your unlearned ways." Shehk sat up all of a sudden, unwrapping the Hapi he'd given to her and untying the front of her jacket to expose the stitching down her chest to him.
"This kind of incision is only given to the dead. Which means there is a period of time where I was deader than a doornail." she gave Frost a look. "Tell me, does your pack carry along their dead? Because all I can assume of fourteen years and no werewolf pack stepping forward to reclaim their own is that most assume the dead stay that way." Her tone was a borderline growl. "And I have yet to have met another Pricolici to compare notes with."
