I'm wowed. So much happened in there... I can't help but compare it to the rest of the series. I'm not sure if this conveys it right but somehow I feel like Butcher changed the "rules" in this one. Usually the good guys win and there's very few casualties, but I feel like they lost even though they "won".

up until this book the rules seemed simple Harry knocked back at what went bump in the night. Even when there seemed to be the Black Council we still had the simple rules of Harry was chasing down the spooks that stepped out of line. Now we have the big baddies revealed and we have the whole world literally on Harry's shoulders. Its not Changes but it is a damn fine book.
