Anemy took a deep breath, steadied herself. The sun, wasn't exactly something she feared, but it wasn't something she saw much of. She had been raised to believe that the sun was an enemy of hers, or more specifically, their goddesses. Anemy had never truely believed that the day time, the sun, was all that bad. It couldn't be. Wouldn't be. And yet, now that she was on her own, hiding in the bushes, Anemy couldn't help but be a little scared of it.

Where did all that bravery she had as a child go? Where she could wander out into the sun and be amazed at the discoveries one could make when light blanketed the sky instead of darkness. No, she was still brave. Why, she was a treasure hunter! As a pup she was even best at that. Her brother and her had rolled back a small metorite as tiny pups. Of course, back then it was twice the size of them, a gaint item that was impossible for the adults to miss. And yet, all of them but Anemy had ignored it's existance.
She had sniffed out a gem! Once that said brother before now wore proudly around his neck. And just a few months ago, Ahote and her had helped a lion! A poor, dying lion that was desperately needing assistance.

But, that was the thing. Anemy had dragged Ahote or one of her other siblings around with her so often that she was used to being the company of one of them. Especially when making a big discovery or being so brave as to wander out into the sunshine.
She gulped again, crawled back farther into the makeshift den she had used as a sleeping spot last night. Then she shook her head, this was ridiculous, the sun couldn't harm her. It was high in the sky, busy lighting up the world to notice a little moon dog running around beneath it.

Finally, she sprinted out of the hole. Solving the problem of being scared by just running out and facing the potential threat as it came. 'There, that wasn't so bad was it?' She thought. 'Now, just keep going Anemy, nothing out here can hurt you.' Or at least she hoped so...
