The Smith brothers' hometown, Silver Cove, is a mining and fishing town. Men from here are considered the best sailors in the country, and they have ships similar to smaller, simpler versions of British ships from the colonial era. Their ships only take three or four people to sail perfectly. The town has walls made of sharpened logs and a few watch towers. The people here are very close to each other. There is also a small harbor where the ships are docked.
