The hybrid wasn't at all uncomfortable. No, he was happy. His life since he was found had gone from utter confusion to fulfillment and joy. His mother and father? He couldn't ask for better parents. It just wasn't possible. Quickly the hybrid dashed through the forest, his satchel full of berries, fruits, and well... Fish. He'd been learning from Aiolos which, had happened to come around every so often to see how the home was fairing. Like an uncle to the boy, whom was the son of the most unlikely parents of the hyrbid. No one could understand them the way they do..
His strides made it looked like he was almost flying now, and the logs were not even an obstical to him. Jumping over them with easy..Then finally he made it to the den..
"Mom! Dad!" He tail wagging happily.. Since he was little, he had been taught to eat their kind of food. Raised on it, now he couldn't live without mother's cooking! "I got it!" A bright smile on his face, his kind demeanor, and everything about him was.... what others would call of those above. Something about him, had the sense of utter calm, and genuine..

[quote="Chi Sohma]
Subito heard his son’s voice and his mouth instantly contorted into a little smile. It was strange to realize how quickly the little feline had adjusted to his new life though perhaps it was even stranger to find that Subito himself was actually quite happy with this new arrangement. He’d expected to live a normal uneventful life with Amelie but it seemed Fate had different plans for him and his family. While he was still a little worried about the white hybrid’s future – what he’d eat and how he’d learn to get along with others like him – the brown hare couldn’t deny the absolute joy that it was to take care of someone, to have a son. Of course, he’d always wanted a big family. It was his concept of “family” that had changed after he’d met Amelie. And now, here he was, with a son who was already as tall if not taller than him. And the little hybrid was only a cub still.
“No need to run, son.” Subito said as he left the den he had been cleaning just a few moments before, dropping a small collection of branches and leaves near the entrance. He hopped closer to the pale feline and eyed his pouch approvingly. “Quite a good haul, it seems.”

His tail wagged excitedly behind him as. "I got them all by-my-self this time Dad!" He laughed then pulled off his satchel, and his ears perked when he heard the familiar sound of ruffling. Stopped abruptly like a horse, then squinted his eyes in to the den.
"Better be my boy bringing us dinner~" She yelled out and out of the shade of the den, the lovely, mother hen of the family had shown her face. Lively, and now.. almost younger looking, it was the energy she gave off, having to run after the hybrid- Aiolos was sure it was all that running around. Her ears got longer and she smiled wholeheartedly as she hopped up to Subito's side and peered in. "Woah~! Ain't you something else~" Preening of how proud she was, taking the hybrid's chin when he got close and kissed his cheek. "I'm happy your home safe~ Now get to scaling~" Leaning against Subito and snuck a kiss on his maw before hopping back in. "I'll need some more wood with all that catch~" Snatching up the branches Subito had dropped. Jade eyes brought upon the most softest of looks towards the two she had grown to love so much.
This was her family, their family.She had once thought that she would miss having the den full- but even if it was just with the three of them, it was full enough for her.
When she kissed him, he chuckled some and shook himself off as he watched her leave with the branches but not with the sachtel- probably was too heavy... Then another mission!? Oh this was exciting! "If you want Dad, I can carry you? I carry Uncle all the time." Putting two and two together, Aiolos was a bird. His father, was a hare. Regardless, even if they were almost the same height- he could carry him.. "Should I.. Leave the fish ..here?"

“Yes, it is!” Subito smiled again as he watched the interactions between the other members of his unconventional family, his eyes lingering on Amelie for a few moments. It was her, always her. She was the one who drew others to her, who always seemed to bring out the best in everyone and create a warm feeling around her effortlessly. He nuzzled Amelie silently as she kissed him and then turned to his son again.
“No, no. You’re not big enough yet.” He was already taller, yes, despite being only a cub but it wasn’t pride that caused Subito’s refusal. “We wouldn’t want you to ruin your growing back!” he chuckled before pointed at a small cluster of branches at the base of a tree in the distance.
“You heard your mom. I’ll race you there. Do you think you’re faster than me now?” there was a hint of challenge to Subito’s tone and his eyes were suddenly shining with mischief as he teased the pale hybrid. “Let’s see how strong that cheetah blood of yours really is…”
