Kiera had been gone for a regrettable three years. Which gave a lot of time for many things to happen. Especially for her. Fully cloaked in a dark robe, she first appeared where her burned house once was. A very fully grown Mai at her side. It turned out That Mai was never in the fire in the first place, and had started to follow her from the early stages of her journey. Kiera brought a heavily gloved hand on Mai's head as she viewed the area. The townspeople had obviously done a lot of work on it, as all the remains were gone and there now laid a bed of rare flowers in It's place. Although it was almost impossible to tell as it all laid under a thick coating of snow. Wearing tall chunky black boots, she slowly walked over to the bed of flowers and knelled down to move the snow out of the way and fondle the dead flowers in her hands. Mai stayed put and sat down obediently. He was now (unnaturally) maybe just under half Kiera's size. Although Kiera hadn't grown any taller since she was gone. "They didn't do anything to this place." Her smoky voice whispered. Mai still sat there and watched her patiently. Kiera suddenly spun around, sending a dagger right past Mai and into the tree behind him. Mai was startled, but started to growl as he noticed the presence behind him. Kiera stood up and apprehended the figure as it came out from behind the tree. "No need to be so violent, my darling. You've been gone for so long, and I've missed you so." Mai growled deeper and Kiera walked up to him and patted his head to shush him. "How did you escape from Yuji this time?" She was surprisingly mellow, and her hood clouded her face. She shook her head. "No, I'm not interested in that. I think you should leave before I kill you. I'm only giving you one last chance, Amelie. This is a mercy in itself." Amelie giggled. "You're gonna be boringly mature now, aren't you?"
Asher was the first one to notice out of the group, and her ears pricked up as her eyes widened. "She's here. Kiera's in the kingdom." She wasn't all to sure how people would react to this, though.

*Shortstraw looked up to asher from putting on his shoe, "i know. I felt it. We are linked after all." Veria however was sitting with her feet up on a table, leaned back alseep. He looked to Veria, "we will wait for keria to come to us." Shortstraw replied. His vioce was now alittle deeper. It's had been three years and he also got taller. So now he was more serious then he used to be. He also now had a scar on the side of his neck, the same spot as verias mark which now was alittle larger being she had to make him stay put so many times to keep him form going after keria.
Also in the room was Ava, now fully equiped and also a master demon hunter in the ranks of the orginization. Soflora hadn't really changed much however, being her only changed about every 100 years or so. Even so the orginization was no just starting to look for recrutes as shortstraw stood. "Paradioa, your mistress is on her way." He replied looking to the coffen that laid silent all these years. Sleeping, waiting for her.*

Kiera didn't move. "I told you to leave." Amelie rolled her eyes and crossed her arms over her chest. "Fine, fine. I'll tell everyone at the castle that you're back. Hikari and Dante have been moaning at me." Some softness returned to Kiera's expression for a moment, then she flinched and flicked another dagger at Amelie, which she caught. "I'm leaving! Geez." Amelie scoffed then disappeared. Kiera moved slowly to face Mai and patted his head tenderly. "It's all right, Mai. We're almost home." Kiera and Mai then started walking into town, but she didn't dare take down her hood. She didn't want to be recognized here yet. She wasn't sure she was ready for that just yet. Although it wasn't like she was ostentatious or anything. Not with a large jet black robe that covered every part of her and was dragging on the floor behind her. People might have thought her an enemy more than anything. Not to mention the giant dog that was padding alongside her. No, not ostentatious at all. Kiera trailed down one of the alleyways with Mai right behind her, and she soon came up to a manhole. She leaned down with her hands in her pockets to check the symbol on it, then she flipped it open with her foot. She looked worryingly to Mai. "I'm not sure you'll be able to fit down here." Mai whined and Kiera rolled her eyes. "Fine, you go first." She took a step back to give his some room. It took maybe 5 minutes to get him down there, but at least they could, and Kiera jumped down after him, being careful to put the manhole cover back afterward.
Asher directed her gaze over to the door and sighed. Kiera was moving quicker than she expected. Well, she expected Kiera to be more reluctant about coming so quickly. Then again, she had been gone for 3 years. That must've given her enough time to think. Urgh, bloody b***h. Having the audacity to do something like that.

*Shortstraw turned after fixing his gotlet and scooped up Asher, placing her smoothly on his shoulder turning again as he called, "veria." She jumped, "huh what?" SHe then fell off the chair. Shortstraw walked forword, "Donte, Soflora time to move." He was aware Keria was back, and where she was. But he still had a job to do. He walked in the lead down the same tunnle as keria. Soflora and donte behind him as he walked with a serious attitude he developed. Ava then stood and followed int he back, "dad shoudn't we hold up still. I'm sure mom was strict about when to show up and all but..." he walked forword, "just follow or stay out the way." By this time keria and mai came into view. This was there meet... irregular.

Kiera suddenly stopped walking, however Mai took the lead with greeting and bounded up to them all, tackling Dante to the ground and licking his face unrelentingly. Dante laughed and struggled to get him off. "Mai! I thought you were dead buddy." He hugged him tight. At least someone was having a good meeting. Asher could see Kiera perfectly, especially in this low light. And yet, she couldn't note anything about her. Kiera's long hair was hidden under her robes, her face hidden by her hood. Hands lazily put into large pockets, and robes just uncovering some of her feet and bare legs. Asher didn't speak, however. It wasn't her place to talk and she didn't have anything to say to Kiera anyway. Kiera let her head fall back a little as she saw Shortstraw, and she sighed quietly but longingly. "Shortstraw.." Mai had moved off Dante and returned back to Kiera, nudging her arm for her hand with his muzzle.

*He walked stright up her to and turned past her, almost in slow motion, "we will talk later. Welcome back." He kept walking, "we will return shortly, get some rest." He was always like this now. Soflora shied, "not even a hug." She shook her head and followed. Meanwhile Ava looked to Donte, "you better go or he will demote you again." Ava looked to Keria, "since he woke up we've bee training after you left. Alot has happened and all, but even with Veria here, he's really become a stubbern man. He takes his job too seriously now. Ever since that one fight that is." She shied, "we are headed to war to side with Eve on the western front. It's about two miles from here, a mile thanks to these tunnals. Wanna come?"

Dante looked worrying to Kiera before he stubbornly followed on after Shortstraw. Kiera shook her head slowly and didn't show any change of emotion. Not that anyone could see it anyway. "No, not really. I've had a very long journey to get back and wouldn't be of any use while I'm tired." She nodded and carried on walking. "Thank you, though." Her eyes were fixated to the floor as she walked, Mai padding slowly behind her. He whined loudly, purposely so that she would notice. Kiera brought one hand out of her pocket and Mai walked up to her to greet it. Kiera petted him carefully. "It's all right, boy. It'll be fine." Kiera stopped when she saw someone at the end of the tunnel, coming out of one of the doors. It was Cyril. She went down a different tunnel when she noticed, and then went through a random door, which happened to be a room with a bed. Thank god for that. She didn't know her way around the place still, and her memory had failed her from the time that she had been gone. She was glad as well that this wasn't the common barracks, or someones bedroom. As there was no sign of habitation at all. Once Mai had come through, she shut the door behind her, and just stood there for a couple of minutes. She wasn't surprised that Shortstraw was like this. Although she supposed that she was wishing for him not to be.

*Veria was already in the rom standing behind her with her arms crossed, "I'll be needed in the war, but i figured i would great you aswell." She smiled. "I kept him back when he tried to go looking for you. Ever time i would turn my back for a minet he would run off most of the time, once it got serous." She nodded and walked over to the door, "he's still shortstraw however sis, he'll break. The problem however..." she turned and looked to Keria, "is the fact that i have become alittle more attached in you stead." She looked sadly, "i did not mean to get closer to him this time. But you were gone longer then expected."

Kiera shook her head and moved further to the center of the room. "It's all right. I was aware that something like that may have happened. And thank you, for keeping him away. You've done me a great service." She stripped off her overcoat/robe to reveal a completely new outfit. ((I'm gonna start drawing it now. I really don't know how to describe this = 3 =)) Mai nestled himself in the corner of the room and almost instantly fell asleep. Looks like he was tired, too. Kiera slipped off her boots and coat then climbed onto the bed lazily. "A lot can happen in three years." She peeled back the covers and her head fell heavily onto the pillow, not facing the door. She was also extra tired, and fell asleep as quickly as Mai did.

*Veria nodded and looked to her sister witha whisper, "i guess i'll be support again now that your back." She then telported. Meanwhile Eve stood on a rock with her sword on her shoulder. "Banking left, archers at ready!" She ordered. However she then smiled as she seen soflora in the sky with Donte, dropping him down into the heep of enemys, "Go get them Tank!" Soflora yelled as she lunched him from the air into the battlefeild. Meanwhile shortstraw ran fast eve so quick her hair blew past her fac as she nodded and soflora shifted to her real form and fell into the enemys. However she watched shortstraw now. He took his job too seriously even for her likeing now. As moved quick, stabbed two guys int he face, toppled over another, spun on into a groud, pulled up his cross bow, fired three times into diffren enemys, spun his daggers in his hands and took on a heep of the men he faced. Blood was splattering everywhere as he confinued, Donte was the tank of the group now, soflora the musle, however shortstraw was the monster. Eve then saw ava walk to her side, "whats the situation so far mom." Eve smerked, "we were loosing till you showed up. Your late." She nodded, "kerias back. Supprized were not later." Eve then called laud, "Thrid wave fall back, demon support coimging in!!!!" Just as she sounded the men with her words they turned and fled toword her as veria and asher stood oppisit, verias dark snakes flooded the feild in a rush, as ashers acid had, both going though the wall of running men on there side, and taking out the remaining enemys. Eve then gave a nod, "alright then time for the final kill on this feild." She stepped off her rock and walked stright through the feild of diing men as the enmy officer gulped. The princess would take him on directly? Good.

Cyril walked past Kiera's room, but suddenly stopped, with a soda can in his hand. He couldn't have explained it properly, but it smelled like Kiera. He was probably just fantasizing, but looked to Kiera's door and opened it slowly. Kiera was sound asleep inside, and he almost squealed like a little girl. He had to shut the door to contain himself. Kiera looked skinny, very skinny. Well, she was skinny anyway, but more so than usual. Cyril just told himself to keep walking, because waking her up would do him no favours. Dante did what he did best, and tore through the largest amount of people that he could. He could only do so while in the bloodlust, although he'd learnt from his mother and Hikari to control it to his advantage. So now he wouldn't always be rabid and even attack his allies. Yeah, that was best to be avoided.

*There was a sound of metal slaming together as eve swung her blade and the enemy officer did the same. They continued to attck and block, "impossable... you took out over ten thousend men in one swoop..." Eve smerked and let his wepon hit her shoulder as she kicked him back and the y locked in combat again. "Guess your prince sould have kept his troops off my land as i warned so many times before." Just then the man blocked a second blade, shortstraw. Now he was fighting both of them, Eve's striegth and wide blade, and shortstraws speedy daggers as he twised and turned into his attack, leaping and making the man back up more and more. Eve then stopped and held her blade to the side as there was a muffled gunshot. In her hand her reciver pistol. THe man looked to his chest to find the shot was no normal bullet, but energy itseld as it had gone through his armor and him. He fell to his knees. Eve then looked to shortstraw, "enough. Thanks for the help." Shortstraw however ignored her and walked to the man, eve held up her head, "shortstraw..." shortstraw however took the mans throught with one hand and then twised his head with the other, ripping the mans head clean off as he tossed it aside and turned, "mission compleat." He whissled for his two other troops, soflora and donte and headed toword Ava. She however shook her head, "dad we needed him prizenor." Shortstraw walked past her, "i was told to kill. I killed." He walked on. Eve turned to ava, "i'm starting to think he does that to get back at me for asking for his help with these battles." ava shied as she shook her head, "even after that fight you had with the offence defence thing with him... maybe so." However surly asher appeared back on shortstraws shoulder, "Take our two back home. I have somthing else i need to do." He replied to her, almost ordered. He was tougher now, and more reckless aswell. However many were more worryed on why. Was it becuse of keria, or becuse of that women?

Asher sighed. "Really? Fine." She hopped off Shortstraw's shoulder then padded over to the others. "Mr high and mighty has asked for me to take you home." Dante shook his head. "What's he doing then?" Asher shrugged her small shoulders and yawned. "Who knows. He just said he had something else to do." Dante frowned. "I need to go back home, then. Mom said she wanted to see me." Asher looked to Dante, unsure. "Amelie? Eh, I wonder if she's been let out of home confinement yet." Dante shook his head. "Nah, she hasn't." He bent down to pet Asher before leaving. Which left Asher with Soflora, then Ava. "Lets just get back." She sighed tiredly.

*Shortstraw didn't return for a culple hours and when he did, and the door opened to the entry hall he was covered in cuts and scrapes again. He walked first to the bathroom to clean up, then he stopped and sat down at the same spot he was when he was putting his equipment on, starting to take it off now. "I hope you had the chance eat while you were out." He replied to Veria who was in the shadow to his left. She nodded and steped out with a burp, "of course hun." She smiled, "so you going to go see keria now?" He pulled his gotlets off and then his claok and sat it on the hook it was usally hung on. "Nope. She's sleeping, i have no need too." Veria glared, "your being stupid again. Go rest with keria." She pointed as if telling him he had to. He looked to her and put his hands in his pockets, "no point untill we actully talk. I'm guessing the others are alseep?" Veria nodded and shied, "yes as you instructed of them, except asher of course. One of the lucky ones." Shortstraw nodded, "then get some sleep." He walked away. Moments later he was in a small room, usally this is where he would dissapear to. And he was punching a punching bag mounted off the cealing with all his power and striegth, instead of speed.

Kiera woke up to drool on her face, and Mai hanging over her body expectantly. She shoved him off and sat up, rubbing her eyes. "Why the hell do you do that every ******** night.." Mai whined at the end of the bed and Kiera looked to him lazily. "Don't look at me like that." Kiera slid out of the bed and her feet stung against the cold ground. She was still a bit sore, perfect. It took her a couple of minutes to realize where she was, and her eyelids fluttered. She was so used to sleeping on a hard floor that she'd forgotten what a proper bed felt like. Mai stepped off the bed and nudged her hip. She had to rub her eyes again to get a hold of it all, before she put her coat back on. Now she was well rested, but it was night. Typical. There was something... off about her. How she held herself, how she thought. And before she left the room she made sure to dump numerous heavy items out of her coat pockets and onto the bed.
