Deus Ex Machina: Code of Conduct
Behaviour Adjustment and Reinforcement:
- Flagged reports on conduct will be archived per Hunter. After three written reports on misbehaviour, a Hunter will be permanently suspended and their weapon taken from them as well as their job status and title.
- All Hunters and trainees are expected to follow protocol regarding behaviour adjustment. Failure to comply within the enforced behaviour guides will lead to subsequent consequences and reinforcement as necessary, see below:
Attacking an unarmed Hunter: Any assault or attack on an unarmed Hunter outside of sanctioned training activity will result in suspension of the Hunter's weapon for 1 month following, suspension of portal activity, and two weeks of pod duty. The Hunter will also be written up for one flagged warning.
Attacking an any Hunter outside of Training: Any assault or attack on a Hunter outside of training activity will result in suspension of the Hunter's weapon for 1 month following, suspension of portal activity, and two weeks of pod duty. The Hunter will also be written up for one flagged warning.
Verbal Assault and Harassment: Any Hunters suffering from repeated verbal assault and harassment may report this with substantial evidence to their superiors. Any Hunter caught in these activities will result in suspension of the Hunter's weapon for 1 month following, suspension of portal activity, and two weeks of pod duty. The Hunter will also be written up for one flagged warning.
Failure to Comply to Given Mission Orders: Any Hunters who fail to comply to mission orders will result in suspension equal to the level of severity of their mission. The Hunter will also be written up for one flagged warning.
- Failure to comply to Emergency Missions will result in two weeks of pod duty
- Failure to comply to Division Specialist Missions will result in two weeks of pod duty and one write-up from their superior
- Failure to comply to Division Assistant and Leads will result in suspension as appropriate to their severity of action
Unexcused Absences:
- Unexcused absences will result in a write-up depending on the severity of the request.
Direct Disobedience of Deus Ex Code of Conduct:
- Deus Ex Code of Conduct outlines the general Hunter guidelines. A Hunter may only work and operate with approval and must comply to given rules and standards. At no point in time may a Hunter leak existing information or buy, trade, or sell information or resources to anyone outside of Deus Ex unless given direct permission from their superiors. Any Hunter caught doing so will have their status revoked and their position terminated.
Direct Disobedience at being Sex-
-WHAT. Stupid phone! Mark could have pulled his hair in aggravation, he was still editing the stupid thing. God, he just had to ruin his chances at making not being sexy enough a rule to be followed.
Somewhere else in Deus Ex, quite a few Division leaders (and assistants) were wondering why they were being texted the Deus Ex Code of Conduct, which they all were very well aware of, and most likely, expected everyone else to be aware of - it was one of those sink or swim things. Or really, read carefully and not quite in between the lines.
OOC: DEUS EX CODE OF CONDUCT
- The above (minus being "sexy") is the IC canon list of the Deus Ex Code of Conduct. Indeed being reported, or failure to comply to the given can result in very heavy IC consequences.
- We are not stopping your character from doing this but be very well aware there are very very strong IC consequences for continuing on with this behaviour. While we as GMs have no right to stop you, or destroy your character, if conduct becomes something extremely controversial, all your character's rights will be taken, to the point of putting them in a few months of status quo as appropriate. But you'd have to do something really stupid to merit something like that, like killing another Hunter stupid. Usually.
