Captain Osumilite had requested to meet with General-King Zinkenite in the Rift. Sure, it may have been an unusual request for a Captain to request a meeting with a General-King, but Osumilite viewed himself as close enough with Zinkenite. Not to mention how highly Osumilite thought of himself, where he could just make these sorts of requests with just about everyone. He was an invaluable asset to the Negaverse as far as his ego concerned. Besides, it wasn't as though he made the request for personal reasons. He had something for the General-King that he might find very valuable.

As the Captain, who arrived early to the meet, waited for the General-King, he looked around the Rift. God, this place always gave him the ******** creeps. He was thankful that such a place was very private to only members of the Negaverse, since he wasn't sure how he would spin a location like this into something comforting to the population.

Zinkenite, for once arrived just a trifle late, casually late, ‘you are not as important as you think you are’ late perhaps, or perhaps not. He did after all have a folder of papers that he was half distractedly reading as he walked. “Osumilite.” He said by way of greeting.

“You wished to speak to me.” He stated the fact with a brief glance up from his papers before tapping them into an even edge again and closing the file for a moment. Negaverse officer names listed out on a top sheet could just be made out before he closed the file folder and tucked it under his arm.

“Is there some information I can provide or, are you providing me with some?” he asked tilting his head slightly, thoughtfully. Osumilite was, in his own way quite valuable to the Negaverse, in no small part thanks to his ties to the Media. That didn’t quite make Zink like the idea of the news any better, but it was beneficial, and Osumilite had some excellent other civilian ties as well.

"Information for you, General-King," Osumilite said with a small smile and a slight bow of the head. The formality of a bow may not be necessary, but what was the crime of being proper and treating a superior with great respect? Even if the superior was nearly half his age.

"As you know, my civilian life keeps me busy as I brush with the upper-crust of society," he started, beginning to pace around in a small line. "Lots of charity auctions, invite-only parties at exclusive venues, decorated in the finest of fashions, eating the best food and drinking the best wine as I socialize with beautiful women and powerful men."

"In short, my life is pretty awesome," he winked to the General-King. "But that is only the lead-in to my point. There are others like me. Do you know the Van Hootensberg family? They are a family of elite and powerful socialites in the city. I've met a few of them - one of their daughters, Annette, I became closely acquainted with." There he goes, rambling again in blissful memories. "And their son, Dylan..."

He paused.

"Er, I don't know him in the same way," he started awkwardly. "But he's a pretty troubled kid with a lot of powerful connections. He's known for his presence in the nightlife scene and in the tabloids as a sort of lost child looking for a purpose. I think I hear his purpose calling, and its name is the Negaverse."

The dialog earned Osumilite a largely bored look, particularly the dialog about ‘schmoozing’ the upper crust. The speculative mention of the –son- of the rather ridiculously named family made him pause though and loft an eyebrow, lifting his chin and sigh.

“Really?” He said carefully. “And you are well assured that while he is of sufficient social status to be of some use, I assume that’s what you’re driving at… that he is not also a tremendous risk for us?”

The most obvious implication to this was ‘on your head be it’. A dangerous proposition when it came to the Dark Kingdom, Zinkenite himself knew that perhaps too well, though with Tanzanite missing in action there was almost no way for it to have so… happy an outcome if things did end up with judgment being passed.

“I’m a little surprised you aren’t coming to be about the sister.” He admitted. “Since you know her…so well. Have you approached the young man at all to see what, if anything he knows? Has he any clue about the war going on around him?”

"Definitely not the sister," Osumilite laughed. "I've already dipped my c**k in enough of this company's ink - sorry for the mixed metaphor - and besides, she's too dumb, impressionable and weak-willed for this kind of business. I mean, the things I got her to do..." Wait, this wasn't relevant, just bragging. Maybe a little more bragging....no, not now.

"Anyways, there's always a chance the kid could turn out to be a bit of a risk, since the kid is a bit of a mess now, but giving his life a purpose in the Negaverse might be what could set him straight," he explained. "I don't think he knows anything about what's going on, I only spoke with him a little and couldn't prod too much without getting shady. I had just ******** his sister and all."

“…Tasteful as always.” Zink growled making a face about the over sharing.
“I’ll CONISIDER it… see if he’s interested in something with more …structure say. We can arrange a meeting and go from there.” He waved a hand. “Unless you are promoted to General before that time, in which case you can consider it good practice.” He flashed a humorless smile.

“But, if you keep detailing your sex life to me, I will likely be tempted to castrate you.”
