Who: Friday & Lemon - Samara
Where: Outside of a Cafe nestled within Aimes.
When: Dusk
Weather: Sun is setting, with a consistent breeze. Chilly enough to lightly bundle up.

Business in the small establishment relaxed, in what seemed like record time, allowing Friday to finally end his shift. Any longer and the possibility of losing what little sanity he had left was imminent. Never did it occur to him that picking up a second job at a dinky, or so he genuinely believed, cafe would be such a headache. One would think the majority of money for coffee transactions would occur during early hours, but not here! Surely life could never aid Friday by providing him with an easy route. Oh yeah, take a left here and BAM everything you desire! Eh, maybe it did and he failed to notice. The path he endded up choosing was staring wide eyed at him, smile and all. So happy. Too happy.

" We're going home!? " A pale child questioned from the furthest booth. Even his voice was happy! How could anything in this horrible planet have that ability? It sucked away at any possibility that he too could ever be blessed with such an emotion. Pfft. Eyes rolled before an answer was given. " Yes we are! " The adult 'maturely' mimicked. Lemon hoped off eagerly, and made his way over towards his guardian. Damn those eyes Friday thought, analyzing the pair the young dust had. Absolutely stunning. None could compare to that shade of violet this kid was blessed with. " Then lets go already. My butt hurts from sitting all day. " Lemon frowned, even going as far as rubbing his bottom to emphasize. " Well, my damn life hurts. " Friday mumbled underneath a scowl. " You have to wait a sec. Need to change out of my clothes...." With a sigh the guardian sauntered to the back in order to change out of his dreadful uniform.

Lemon gave a small wave to Friday's back and attempted to patiently remain in place until the adult returned. A whole day's worth of unspent energy argued against better judgement and won. Without a second thought the color dust beelined towards the exist. What greeted him was a refreshing breeze that gave whatever exposed skin a chill. It was quite welcoming after a day spent indoors with nothing but the scent of coffee filling his nostrils. He took one deep breath, exhaled, and hopped down the small flight of stairs. The evening hues were quite pleasing to look at, especially against all the passing faces. Would Friday mind if they walked a bit before heading home?

Just as the boy came down the stairs a young girl was walking past. She blinked at the sudden appearance but smiled at him. Samara has asked permission to go for a walk by herself, her father grudgingly agreeing after she put the puppy eyes on him. Really he thought he had the stronger will. The girl was dressed all in red as usual, her green eyes a bright compliment. In her hair were some yellow and orange maple leaves.

"Oh hello! Sorry I didn't see you coming down the stairs," she looked up to see a small coffee shop was where the boy appeared from. The thought of hot chocolate crossed her mind but Odell has wisely not given her any money lest she buy more sweets. But the next thing that caught her eye was the boy's eyes. They were a pretty purple color, light and pastel unlike the darker colors of autumn.

"Wow, you have pretty eyes! My name is Samara. Whats yours?"

A greeting drew Lemon's wondering eyes towards the other child. Her color pallet blended in with the setting sun's with minimal effort, only securing the dust's full attention. " Hey! " He greeted in return, waving both hands enthusiastically. Though why did she apologize? Unless she intentionally planned not to notice him? Hehehe, no way! Only Friday spoke in such a discombobulated manner. It was what made him so funny! " Samara..." Lemon repeated, taking a mental note on the pronunciation. " I'm Lemon and you..." The color dust stepped closer to the other, intently admiring the tint of her hair. " Have a pretty everything! "

" Jeez its freakin' cold. " Friday complained within the second of exiting his place of work. It wasn't. The temperature was tolerable, the breeze only nipping at his arms. His intentions were to cut any adventuring ideas at the root. Lemon took advantage of any second Friday had to his own name, and he was feeling a bit greedy today. It had been too late. " I see you're making a friend..." The young adult held back a groan. Summoning the little mannerism he had, Friday smiled at the young girl. At least she was cute? Naaaah, kids were the worst. " Where is your dad or mom? Lemon and I have to go. " a comically forced frown followed. Oh jeez, what if she was lost? Bummer.
