She took another deep breath -
"Wrong." The war horseman gave the pricolici a serious look of disapproval and Shehk stopped, folding her arms. "Okay, show me again please." she asked, lips drawn tightly. "I'm paying attention, I promise." the horseman didn't seem convinced, but was kind enough to give Shehk another demonstration of the War Cry, her ears flicking back as they seemed to burn, brain rattling slightly.
She wanted to say it was like her Death Rattle, but it seemed that every time she even thought about doing that one, the horseman stopped her. So with the demonstration given again, the Pricolici carefully inhaled - glancing towards the horseman to make sure he wasn't going to stop her again - before letting out a very unpracticed bellow that left her coughing and rubbing her throat.
"Kinda like that?" she wheezed. "Close." the horseman answered. "Try it from your diaphragm." he suggested, jabbing his fingers into the Pricolici's ribs, causing her to wince.
Never the less, she gave it one more go. Anything to brace herself from having to go out into the cold quite yet. She was ready to work, but....cold....

"You've done one of these before, yes?"
The Horseman took the lead for the Pricolici, Shehk falling into line behind them with a small amount of frustration, but attentively stepping into his footprints after they passed through the portal, the topaz trinket carefully tucked into her pocket and Medea's charm tucked into her shirt in case she needed it. "I did one once, but...." she didn't say much else about it. It hadn't been awful.
It had been enough to not completely deter her from putting forth her own work again now that she had a stake in it - more than other initiates had at that time, anyways. That wasn't to say she was 'more' important than them in some day. She'd simply been given a bigger debt to pay off. The Horseman stepped carefully through the snow. "Then you have yet to have killed a human?" he inquired. Shehk paused, staring into his back.
".... I have never killed a human before." she admitted. Her stomach attempted to turn on itself as she thought about it, but the token of FEAR she'd been given kept it in check. Shehk knew that if she was being offered the chance, she would take it. "Then we'll begin your practice with one." the Horseman replied. The pricolici picked up her step after him, brimming with a new excitement as they stepped into the town after so much scenery of just trees.
"Here."
"Hmmm?" Shehk looked to her adviser.
"Try it here. Should you fail...well..it is a small area. It will go mostly unnoticed." he didn't really assure her. After all, there were likely Hunters picking up their scent already. She took a moment to feel the snow underneath her feet before carefully shifting, her paws taking to the snow much more easily.
To any vague sighting of the white furred pricolici, she'd be mistaken easily for a wolf, a few individuals attempting to shoo her off away from their homes. Shehk shook her fur out, watching them and stomping her feet a few times, before she stepped back and howled, her cry piercing through the thin, cold air like a knife, before she vanished back into the trees, pacing through them and watching...listening.
Near the house she had just been shooed away from, a young man covered his ears, the noise piercing through him and leaving a certain extra chill in his bones. "Wolves'r getting more aggressive lately..." he murmured to himself, a cold puff of air coming from his mouth before he rose to his feet, bundling his coat further around him. Another man seemed amused, joining him as he finished cleaning up his gun. "Well, they never come in here. Don't see why they'd start." he reassured his companion, clapping him on the shoulder.
Shehk continued to pace and watch. Nothing was happening. After sitting in the snow for nearly an hour she became anxious, getting up and slowly trailing into the town. Certainly she couldn't be seen by those inside of it, able to move about freely and leaving her lupine tracks without any worry as to if they would seem 'natural' or not (they would be nothing more than 'slightly large wolf tracks' after all). She sniffed, scratching at the snow a few times before barking once.
Several people looked around for the source of the noise, the afflicted young man clutching his gun to his chest as he looked at the man who had been accompanying him, eyes widening in shock as the man started to take on animalistic tendencies. Then the man looked back to him with a calm "Looks like a false alarm", the young man immediately shoved his gun in the man's face and pulled the trigger.
The loud noise suddenly brought several men running to check on the area, the almost pristine snow beginning to fade to a pink with the staining of blood across it. "What did you do?" someone shouted. "What happened?" it was a chorus of confusion. Shehk's tail began to wag, half bouncing in the snow as she watched the confusion she had begun.
Her infected suddenly turned on the strangers coming to investigate him, opening fire again and blasting one man's chest full of lead, the new body dropping to the ground. He fired upon several other individuals until one man finally picked up the hunting rifle of the first victim and fired it on the erratic hunter.
"I had to stop him here!" he shouted, several other men nodding in agreement. To Shehk, it was delightful, walking towards the dead bodies and giving them each a sniff - and one a lick for a taste- before she moved away to go and find her companion.
"Like that?" she asked. The Horseman gave her a serious look.
"If you can get more than that many dead next time, you'll have a better go of this...but it wasn't bad."
Shehk was pretty excited now.

Ugh, these stupid horsemen needed to learn their freaking place. He huffed as he stepped through some portal, and ended up in some frozen wasteland. Ugh. UGH.
I'm FINE.
Ok, no, he wasn't, but they were on a mission for crying out loud. There was no way he was going to run back and grab a coat because he was freezing his a** off here.
Spotting some strange creature, he summoned his weapon, but the cold prevented him from being able to attack as his teeth chattered slightly. Damn cold.

"A foolish human is a dead human!" Shehk taunted, the words coming out in dis-scynchronization of her jaws.
The wolf looked towards the infant hunter who had come into her playground, paws stamping at the snow in an almost gleeful manner. They come, they come, they come. I will devour them![i/] the thought passed through her head so willingly she never paused to think if it was ill of her to desire the taste of their flesh.
She watched Jake for a moment, giving him brief consideration before the pricolici practically skipped (if a wolf could skip) further into the town, passing carefully between people until she found a group that seemed to be lined up outside of a strange building. With some effort she discerned t KITCHEN' on the front of it. Food?
The pricolici stepped back and howled - a brief startling noise that barely caused much flinching, but food was something worth fighting over - it would be perfect.

It was freezing here, but there was danger - something harming humans. Horsemen, Madison assumed... so when she spotted something that was definitively not a Horseman, she was startled enough to freeze for a moment. Why...? Weren't they all about the frightening and not about the killing?
Kouki hissed in her mind as Madison quietly drew her blades, waiting for the creature to move away from the line at the <******** soup kitchen, for the love of god, what a complete d**k move THAT was. And, as soon as there was an opening when she would not be seen by other humans, she lunged.
"You're not one of them," she said, flatly, as she brought both blades around to slice at the white form. "******** off." A cold rage boiled within her. It wasn't enough that they had to deal with Horsemen attacking and trying to kill innocents - now the standard freaks were trying to get in on the murder too? Kouki, too, seethed with fury, giving the blades extra bite.

Did that thing just... talk?
What? Jake grit his teeth. First horsemen, now those damn creatures? Caelius was right. All of them deserved to die.
Shaking off the cold, he ran after the wolf, letting he action slowly warm him up as he got closer to it. "We'll see who's dead soon, stupid mutt."

A howling laugh answered Anna. "You saying I'm not one of them is like me saying you're not one of..." she passed a glance towards the line of humans. The very notion prompted another laugh.
Jake had her practically rolling in the snow with guffaws. A dead mutt? Why, that was precisely what she was already! Oh, humans were silly dumb things. Why had it taken her so long to notice this? Even the hunters were - silly, dumb, and with a small amount of bite, the pricolici rolling in the snow and shaking out her fur in irritation at the blades finding her body.
They didn't even earn a snarl of retaliation, however, the pricolici turning and beginning to run through the little town, a flickering image of a lone wolf to any senses that attuned to her for that brief moment. More people?
While there wasn't much in terms of a 'mass transit' in a place like this, she did find a bus stop, sitting at it between a pair of humans as she took a deep breath and let out another howl.

Madison swore under her breath and chased after the freak, wondering as she ran that the other humans couldn't see her - but she'd always been so alone in seeing the 'shadows' that she now knew were freaks. "Cut her off!" she shouted to the other Hunter - she didn't recognize him. Fresh meat, apparently. "If we pin her we might have a chance!" She leapt over a tumbled trash can and ended up in position to take another hit, using the momentum of her leap to increase the speed and power of her strike. HP: 50/50 Damage: 11

When he got close enough, he noticed that the wolf... was, not quite a wolf. Hell, what WAS it? Before he could contemplate this farther, the creature ran off, and he growled.
"Get BACK here, you stupid animal." Chasing after it, he hadn't even noticed the other hunter (forever observant) until she called out to him, and he turned, glaring at her.
"Don't tell me what to do." Really, it was hard enough moving through the snow, and the cold didn't help either. Still, he kept running, cursing each time he stumbled, but managed to get close enough to swing the tonfas at it again.

Anna's attack was rewarded with a yelp of pain as Shehk scattered into the snow, pinned for a moment as she kicked and flailed before pushing herself against the snow, her body peeling apart into fog to free herself from Kouki's assault and right into Jake's, snarling, body shifting as she started to move again, four legs exchanged for two as she ran into one of the buildings - and nearly into one of many people packed inside.
"s**t this place is full of people.." she grunted as she pushed her way through them, pausing as she looked towards the screen they were all watching, banging drinks on counters. Was she in a bar? What were they watching?
Hockey.
A pair of men started arguing about a team nearby and Shehk grinned, leaning in to blow air into one man's ear. 'Your team is better.' she whispered, leaving a lingering fog that spread the message. A little bit of chaos for the hunters following after her.

(( Been over 12 hours, so rolling again)
She shouldn't have expected them to follow her into a crowded building, and Shehk slowly stepped back outside, giving the barest glance around before she bolted across the snowy streets again. Alright, her throat was kind of hurting so she figured she'd give one last good shout somewhere before she hightailed it out of there.
Finding the proper building was a bit more of a task than she'd anticipated until she noticed a few people being herded into a larger looking building, trailing in after them and giving a peek around. It looked like a court. Which meant lots of potentially violent people to rile up. A grin so wide it exposed her missing teeth spread across Shehk's face and she let out a loud and very unnatural howl into the building she'd entered.
Almost immediately she could hear the fighting begin. Ah, Criminals. They needed such little help.

Madison blinked, then scowled at the trainee's response. Still fresh enough to think ego meant more than success? The division leaders would do their best to stomp that out-
-Where was the freak?! She'd lost her- Madison looked around frantically, then found the faintest traces of pawprints. Without a word to the trainee she set off along the trail, but...

Now. There were two hunters out there, and while one of them looked vaguely familiar to the pricolici, the other one looked like Fresh meat. She took a moment to consider, looking at the purple gem she wore on her wrist, then at the pair. She knew she couldn't kill them both, unfortunately. They would have tasted rather good, she imagined.
But she did wonder how long they'd keep looking for her if she just...vanished. Oh, that would have been a delightful little waste of time for them, wouldn't it? She tapped on the crystal she wore a few more times, before she looked towards the forest where her advisor was waiting for her to return. As much fun as it would have been to play, Medea said to not waste time.
Those of the clan didn't waste time. They did a good job and then they got out of there.
Which was why, when she stepped out of the courthouse, she faded into fog, blending with the snow to take her leave. If they wasted time looking for her..well...
The humans were starting to get riled up and violent already. They'd get to have some fun without her.
