History: Treboryn was born to a petite woman named Alanka, a learned healer, and a strong herder named Briard Shoffan. The last of several children, Treboryn's only claim to fame is his great size, though his height and passive disposition has earned him the nickname 'DeadGlow' from his elder brothers.

He worked for 16 turns under his father learning the trade 'secrets' of being a herder before something called him away from his birth family and home. Following this gut instinct that something was waiting for him outside the hold he grew up in, after long and tearful goodbyes from his elder sisters and mother, and inspite of the jeers from his elder brothers, Treboryn travelled to the nearby Weyr. Here, he made himself a new home tending the beasts that fed the dragons the Weyr housed.

Description: A large youth from birth, made larger by years of hard labor under his father as a herder, Treboryn is 7'ft tall and weighs in at 300lbs. He has brown eyes, chin length curly blonde hair, and a square jaw. He has high cheek bones and a large, downturned nose with a high nose ridge. He is not self consious of his height, but years of bumping his head has lead to him developing a habit of slouching, which makes him come off as slightly slow and ogarish.

Personality: Treboryn comes across as a passive man who is slow to take action or offense. This has lead to his nickname of 'DeadGlow', given to him by his elder brothers. The truth of the matter couldn't be farther removed from this appearance.

Treboryn has a wicked temper, and is quick to anger. He takes things very personally, and it was only the teachings of his mother and elder sisters that have kept him from lashing out at the people who taunt and make fun of him. These women he loved have instilled in the large man a sense of doubt in his own feelings and reactions to things.

Due to this, Treboryn keeps his own resentments to himself with a feeling of guilt at having taken offense in the first place. He forces himself to think the best of people, as was his mother and sisters teachings, even though this has allowed people to use and abuse him in the past.

You've got a good start on Treboryn but I'll need more detail before he can be approved, and there will need to be a tweak in his history.

Tweaks

- Travelling to the Weyr alone wouldn't be an option. To get him there the easiest way would be to have a Searchdragon come to his Hold and select him as a potential dragon candidate.

- A minor details, but Pernease don't have second names so his father would be either Briard or Shoffan, but not both.

History details

Just some suggestions for things to add.

- How did he get along with other children besides his brothers as he was growing up? How does he relate to his brothers, and his parents?

- What does he make of recent meta events, especially the revolution? Which side is he on, and why?

- Which Weyr has he gone to?

- How is he getting on there? Is he making friends? What does he think of their culture? Weyrs are far more liberal than Holds in their outlooks about relationships, sexuality and all sorts of things; does he approve of this or disapprove?

As we matched dragons to candidates based on their personality the more you can tell us about him the better. The character creation guide here has a useful section on personality if you need inspiration for what kind of thing to add. If that's not much help let me know and I'll ask some specifics for you to think about, like what his hopes and dreams are and so on.
