Samril was very frustrated with the Firani dragons. Very very frustrated. But he wasn't going to give up! No, he was too strong for the Kiandri dragons and he was still tired of fighting them. He wanted a challenge and he was going to kill a Firani if it killed him too! (Okay, that might not be too good, but he was determined to get that Firani soul orb!)
And so Samril set out once more, this time making sure to be VERY careful in his observing. And, before long, he spotted a seemingly younger Firani dragon. This one would be a good warmup to Firani hunting for him. The others he'd had the wonderful luck to run into had looked to be older and tougher than this one.
I can do this, Samril told himself. He was going to show just how tough he was! He made sure his gloves were strapped on well and carefully made his way closer. That fire could be breathed for some distance and he wanted to get in close! Sure, he could lob balls of lightning, but he really liked attacking with his gloves too!
The young Firani was unaware of being stalked as Samril drew closer and closer. Finally, the Dovaa struck and the battle began!
The battle went on for a bit. Longer than most of Samril's battles with the Kiandri, but it didn't take long before he realized that he was indeed managing this! In fact, the Firani tried to flee, but Samril shot the dragon down with a ball of lightning before it could truly get airborne.
After that, it was quick work to finish off the dragon and finally, he stood, triumphant, over the dead dragon. Samril grinned. He'd done it!
