Summary: The DWMA has been contacted about a recent museum robbery in the Bahamas. What makes this robbery particularly problematic is that the items stolen were three magical sapphires known as the Sapphire of Sorrow, the Sapphire of Regret and the Sapphire of Loneliness. These three Sapphires are known as "empathy gems" which allow the holder to feel and understand the emotions of those around them, corresponding to whatever emotion the gem holds. While using one of these gems may be beneficial, using all three at the same time may have deadly consequences.

You have been tasked by Lord Death with helping the local law enforcement to find and return the gems before they fall into the wrong hands. Doing so will not only ensure the safety of these precious gems, but gain the favor of the government officials in the Bahamas and improve the public image of the DWMA in the country and gain the increased support of the local populace.

The man with the black hair walked towards Michi, extending his hand to her. "Ah, you must be Michi Veneziano," he said, pronouncing the name perfectly. "Lord Death said he was sending a Kitsune Meister by that name. A pleasure to meet you. I am Detective Meyers and this is my assistant Detective Blake," he said, motioning to the brown-haired man, who gave her a friendly nod. "You seem to be the first of your group here. Shall I inform you of the situation?"

Detective Meyers looked startled as the shadow figure appeared and shook his hand. "I see....we'll my condolences for whatever happened to you," he told her apologetically. He reached into his vest and pulled out several pictures, showing them to her. "These are the three Sapphires that were stolen," he told her. "The Sapphire of Sorrow, the Sapphire of Regret and the Sapphire of Loneliness, in that order."







He put the pictures back in his vest, pulling out two new ones. "They were all stolen two days ago from the museum in one incident. There were three separate thieves. Two of them we know of and the third one remains a mystery." He showed her the photos of the two thieves they know of.





"The first is Captain Sandy, a Pirate Captain who commands a ship known as "The Wavedancer". She will most likely be hiding out in one of the coves near the shoreline. The second is of a Voodoo priestess named Priestess Nali. She has a cult following that worships her deep in the jungle." He put the pictures back in his vest, clearing his throat. "And the third, as I said, we have no idea who they are. We're still looking for clues around the museum itself. Let us know which one you would like to pursue first. Any of them is fine with us as long as you are successful in returning the sapphire." He watched her steadily, waiting to see what she would say.

Max slowly padded off the boat, looking back towards Lucien. "It's too hot here..." he grumbled telepathically to Lucien for perhaps the 4th or 5th time since they started their voyage. He looked towards the two men in black and Michi, recognizing the latter from the T.V. during the arena tournaments.

Lucian suddenly bolted across the deck of the boat and jumped off, planning to do a flip or two. His foot caught on the railing and he tripped, plummeting into the water between the boat and the dock. He poked his head up above the water, slightly embarrassed and thought to Max "Oh come on it's nice here." He looked up at the two agents and Michi, giving a small wave. He pulled himself onto the dock and smiled "Hey there."

"Life is like a game of cards."

Max looked up at the fox girl for a moment with his one good eye before turning back to Lucien who was still in the water. "Must you do that?" He thought to him mentally, coming over to the waterside and waiting for Detective Blake to pull him up. He looked over briefly as a new man walked off the boat, but he seemed to be part of the DWMA Team sent to help so Max didn't mind him.
