All my jewelry is pretty much crap. Although a bone earring sounds really cool. Poor animals, but they're dead already.. D:

Mr. Malaise I'd prefer an earring made of human bone. ;o
That'd be cool. ^^
And then you could make up stories about it.

Like how your bone earring is from the floating rib of the cannibal you killed as he tried to eat you alive! Ooh, Pants! That'd be a great story!

Why do they have to kill the animal to get the bone!? Why not Tranquilze (is that spelled properly?)it and snap of a leg and replace it with a wooden one? It won't know the diffrence.

I own a lot of old jewelry that is made from bone. My favorite ones are a pair of earrings shaped like hearts with small asian dragons inside them.
I hate hearts in jewelry most times, but I like these. And who says you have to kill an animal to get bone. If it dies, and the bones are found after all the soft tissue is gone, why not use the bones?
I have a small box of chicken neck bones that I meant to have cast in silver and strung on a wire for a necklace. I've had them since I was in Metals class in college. I may commission a friend of mine to do it. The bones are so lovely. *shrugs*

I have no jewellery, therefore, I cannot lose any jewellery.
Although, I did lose two of my (identical) 'make poverty history' bands. Damn.
I still dunno where they are.

I have a number of single earrings, having lost the other one. The worst one was a 14 kt. gold bangle earring that I'd had for a long time. They were so pretty and so comfortable, I used to wear them to bed, in the shower, etc. It's gone forever! And I can't bear to part with the other one. crying
