His search had yielded no results yet.

Of course, Nysa could be a patient young man. He realized that getting the pleasure of finally meeting his princess would make the wait well worth it. One or two months was not a long time to search. Even a year would potentially be a worthwhile wait.

However, the Squire would not wait idly. He'd instead seek out the upstanding young lady he had only met in a painting.

This evening, he was able to sense a negative aura in the vicinity. Not one of those filthy youma, but something else. He had encountered such an aura before, though the specific instance was not standing out in his mind at the very moment. More than likely the source would be more sentient than those useless youma.

Bravely, the lad approached the energy he was sensing, hopping buildings until he came across a very familiar form.

Ah.... this one again...

He didn't say anything upon his initial approach, remaining upon the edge of the building opposite of her, looking at her intently.

Sensing other powered people was not unusual for Nickeline at this point, in fact, she powered up and went out at night specifically to find someone with her little radar. Tonight was no different. She perched herself up on a roof and waited for something to come close enough for her to sense, and after being a patient little corrupt senshi her dues were paid... and oh boy, were they ever paid.

It was not just any one though! It was that nasty squire she'd met a few months back! Her anger for him had laid deep within her, so deep that she hadn't flown across the roof to attack him. Instead, her eyes stared across the space between as if willing him to come closer. Her wish was seeming like it was going to come true because soon Nysa got so close it was like he was going to jump. He didn't though, and after a moment Nickeline moved to the edge of her building to meet him.

He was so close, so close she could almost touch him. In any other situation this would have made a nice romance story of two star crossed lovers meeting at the edge of their worlds but instead it was more like enemy soldiers standing on each sides of their country.

"Yo," she said bitterly.

The strange dark senshi clearly was not thrilled to see him. Or maybe she was. Her tone clearly did not read of someone who was thrilled to see him. Her body language, on the other hand, seemed to read differently.

He did not shift from his spot. She was clearly a skilled and ruthless fighter. Provoking the angry bear before getting the information he desired was probably not a good way to go.

So instead, he prompted her from where he stood. "Good evening... might I ask if you have heard anything or seen a Sailor Neptune?" It was a simple inquiry, though it was very likely she would not take it as such. However, at least this time he was prepared for her to attack.

No, no, she was definitely thrilled to see him. She was so thrilled to see him that her arms shook at the mere sight of him. Oh, oh how they wanted to reach out from over the gap in the buildings and wrap around him so tightly. It had been too long, just simply too long since she'd last felt her skin against his. She might have filled in the gap provided to her by time if he had not opened his yap with something she actually had a grasp on.

Now. It wasn't exactly something Nickeline would say was something someone sane would ask but it was still nice to be able to understand something even if it didn't sound exactly right. She couldn't figure out for the life of her why he would be looking for a sea God but she could assume she'd hit him too hard on the head that one time and he'd gone crazy.

"Yes!" She exclaimed. "Enormous." So much of it.

"Yes!"

In itself, if that had been her only response, it might have been more convincing. However, the addition of the word "Enormous" shattered any optimism he had in regards to the conversation. She was probably guessing or trying to toy with him. Both seemed like possibilities since she had taken such thrill in attacking him last time.

He kept a careful eye upon her stance while carefully, but seemingly casually, drew his hand to his cheek, brushing a bit of the hair out of his line of vision.

"Pray tell, what does she look like, Miss?" There was a pause before he added "I certainly hope that this is not a hoax." Though he still remained quite poised, there was a hint of irritation to his tone. Perhaps it was genuine, or perhaps it was more for show. It was hard to tell with a mere glance at the lad.
PostPosted: Mon Dec 17, 2012 12:06 pm

She hadn't meant enormous, although perhaps it was a fair amount of knowledge. Sufficient? Intolerable? It was all useless culture that cluttered her head. She would have loved to pull the squire around with a tease but this time she actually thought she had knowledge he wanted. It made her grin in the way punching him in the face might. There was only one way to tell, so she happily swung her fist at his face as she lept across in what could only be the Nickeline Inquisition. It was like the Spanish Inquisition except everyone expected it.

"Good lookin'," she noted as she swung her other fist at him as well. All Gods were attractive.

"Like Water." Water God loved water, it was perfect logic. All of these things were all so basic though. Did he really not know or was he toying with her? She'd find out and if he was then she'd make a new game for them to play. She'd love it but she imagined he wouldn't be so fond. This whole thing did solidify her suspicions that Americans were dumb. It was Poseidon, not Neptune!

Her statements were vague, yet seemingly accurate. From what he had seen, the Princess was indeed "good looking" and if her world was a sign, there was indeed a chance she also was "Like water."

It was distressing, though he kept a cool composure.

He attempted to keep his tone neutral, but even in keeping to a neutral tone, he was showing a lack of warmth.

"...Is that all you will offer me for free, Miss?" She might have been withholding information out of a desire for personal gain. However, what this girl would want was beyond him. All the black pearls she was adorned with would suggest she was perhaps wealthy under normal circumstances. And, in their prior encounter, she had seemed more content with pounding his face than trying to bargain.

If he wasn't so wary of her, he might have jumped to her rooftop to show his good will. However, she had given him no true reason to truly trust her.

Pearls came from the ocean so it was actually kind of fitting that Nickeline would hint at her knowledge of Sailor Neptune. Also, Nysa didn't know what her senshi power was and a very good guess could easily put her in association with a senshi of oceans under the veil of a senshi of drowning. Surely that was almost exactly what it felt like when she attacked people. If only she knew more so she could truly manipulate the situation.

Nickeline did have plenty more to offer him for free but it was very likely he wouldn't like it. The free things she had to offer weren't thoughts or information about his beloved Sailor Neptune but instead a punch in the face, a kick in the crotch and perhaps a fall down to the alley below. She would offer all of those things to him freely and all of them crossed her mind at once when she heard what he said. She heard it but it certainly wasn't what he meant.

"FREE?" She yelled, definitely taking what he'd said far out of context. It didn't help that she typically thought all the boys in Destiny City were perverts but this one was clearly propositioning her for services... even calling her cheap! It just was never going to be Nysa's day or night because she attacked him again.

His patience in watching her movements had paid off. Apparently his choice in words had set her off this time (though in all honesty, it seemed as if anything could set this senshi off). The gap between the two buildings had been filled in by her flying towards him. It was enough time for him to react at least.

She had a fist aimed towards his face. Instead of merely dodging this time around, he seemed to try to catch onto her balled up hand with his own gloved hand.

"I will get the information I desire... Miss..." Nysa was by no means the picture of masculinity, but he used what strength he did have to try and push the girl away from him from the hand she had attempted to hit him with.

His voice grew dangerously dark as he then leaned forward a bit.

"...if you can only understand violence, then I will speak your language to get what I want..."

It was important that he learn more of his Princess. No foolish senshi from the Negaverse would get in his way, especially if she had the information he needed.

He had been watching her far too much, or at least that's what she thought when he reacted so differently from what he had in the past. JUST HOW PERVERTED WAS HE? Sure, it was okay for her to stare at people to see how they moved and fought but as soon as it was turned on the other hand it was simply wrong. So wrong, and so disappointing because instead of pounding him as hard as she wanted she had her attack parried. It left a questioning expression on her face because this wasn't how she remembered him. What had changed?

Violence was something she could understand though. There was no way to mistake intentions through violence. Her fist didn't linger too long before it swung again in an attack against him. Whatever he wanted from her she wasn't planning to give it to him no matter what he did. He could talk big but his actions were far from convincing.

Though he was not naive, Nysa was still quite new to such a free style of fighting. He had participated in fencing bouts before, where it was a formal style of fighting with very specific rules. There were pauses between each point.

Such pauses would not be happening now it would seem.

He had very little time to recover from his initial parry when his opponent was throwing a fist at him again. There was not nearly enough time to dodge, and though he was able to shove his own hand in between the offending balled up hand, it was unable to defend against the attack. All his hand could do was vaguely cushion the punch to his gut.

Forgive me, Mother...

With a huff deep in his gut, he then attempted to return the favor to the girl, his opposite fist swinging to match the mark she had just made on him.

Nickeline loved to feel her heart pound in her chest as a fight really started to get down but with Nysa it wasn't as satisfying simply fighting him: She wanted to crush his face in with her heel as she stomped all over it. Out of all the knights she had met, he got her goat more than any of the others. She felt like any minute he would cry that he broke a nail trying to punch her.

"Baby need ma?" She teased him, although not nearly as explicitly as she would have liked. If only she knew more English words or he knew Greek then she could really insult him. Maybe he could call his mother and she could hit for him because he hit like a baby! Okay, maybe it wasn't quite a baby but if anyone asked that's what she would say. She tried her best not to flinch under his attack, negating the damage to her gut as best as she could by evening out the area of pressure with her own hand. She smiled at him as internally she cursed him. She refused to let him think he'd hurt her even if he had.

She wasn't a very fair fighter though, and she decided she would swing her fist at him as a decoy before attempting to drill her heel into his foot.

That was quite the childish insult if he had ever heard one. He would not stoop to such a level. It was beneath him to enjoy a bit of banter while engaging with someone in such a manner.

Instead, he was focusing on the fight. He quickly pulled his hand back in hopes she wouldn't attempt to latch onto him like an octopus.

She swung at him, but rather than merely just dodge or try to defend himself, his mind momentarily went to fencing tactics. He turned in towards the girl approximately 90 degrees. Her hand hit him in the shoulders, though it was not nearly as strong as he would have thought.

Though there was a reason for such it would seem. A sharp pain had stabbed itself into his boot. In Quartata had helped out, but had not completely pulled his footing out of danger's way.

Rather than yelp out, he instead grinded his teeth down tightly, refusing to let his mouth open. Holding back any pained sounds, he then heaved out another punch that seemed more like a loose lunge in her direction.

At least Nickeline had the balls to insult someone, Nysa just seemed like he was ready for a ball that he'd never make it to. She hated just how uptight and formal he acted even in the midst of a battle. Those weren't qualities that would win a fight! You had to be willing to get down and dirty, a matter Nickeline was quite certain he wouldn't dare do. Dirt? Ew! She would envision him freaking out about how he's fabulous teal is now green.

At least stomping on his foot with her heel had been satisfying, even if he didn't yelp the loop on his face brought all the joy to her. He still had energy to throw a punch, and that was a little surprising that she actually didn't have time to dodge it. It caused her to fall backwards, grabbing her balance again just before she almost fell off ********," she spit out a growl. If that's how he wanted to play, then game on!

"Breathless," she spit out, the accent almost making it undecipherable.

She didn't wait for him to struggle with air to react, practically attempting to throw him off the roof. Consequences? Pfft, she'd deal with those later. Right now she wasn't concerned about accidentally killing this ********, or what her first kill would taste like or just how depressing it would be later. Right now she just wanted to see his body squished on the pavement.

He had managed to hit her. Unlike this girl who seemed absolutely thrilled to deal out the beatings, he felt quite the opposite sensation. His stomach honestly felt like it was in knots after such. The corrupt senshi had every right to curse at him.

If his stomach being in knots wasn't enough, soon enough he felt the air vanish from his lungs. It was not the first time that this girl had done such to him, but it still had a way of catching him off his guard. If anything, this was not a fair fight, and it never really would be a fair fight.

Nysa managed to catch sight of the girl as she threw herself at him in an effort to reclaim the space on the top of that building. Her efforts were quite successful, since everything was so overwhelming.

Well, except for one small thing.

When his body had been practically thrown over the edge of the building, his gloved fingers hooked and latched to the edge of the bricks, desperately gripping on while he was momentarily suffocating.
