User Image If you could sum up Segurue, it would be a cheetah that seemed heartless, yet loyal. No matter the fury- nor matter how innocent, thoughs whom wielded him had complete control over him. But on days, such as this, he spent his times watching the landscape. Not out of ravishing them for their beauty, but out of nothing better to do. He would do anything anyone would ask of him, but they must first prove their worth and if they didn't ask of him except for his help... They would first need to prove that they have self worth and strength enough to try to save themselves. Yes, everything needed balance in his eyes, the strong are worth saving.. The weak, should be left to die. Although,

He wasn't ill-mannered towards anyone. He was... just blank. Thinking on his own, common sense only were sustained by his 'masters' ...

But today, he was off. Like the routine went, he made his way out of the small traveling group and gazed upon the landscape with neither a smile, or a frown.. yet serious, stoic. He wished someone would think or send him to do something... His masters- he needed them.. days like this drove him mad. Yet his paws were outstretched over a rock that he had took residence in, high above the valley to watch over the rogues from above and in to the mountains. A unamused look crossed his maw, and lifted a brow as he saw a 'white' shadow breeze through the bottom of the foot of the cliff.

Hezo'nan had been walking yet again. She never stayed in one place for too long. The last place she had ran into another cheetah, and helped him when he needed it. She wanted to help the world, one cheetah at a time, though sometimes that was more difficult than she thought. She kept an open heart to everyone that she ran into, or at least tried. It was a rare thing to see her lash out at anyone, or even make them do things she needed. She was use to just doing everything herself.

Her pelt seemed to glimmer in the sunlight as she moved. She almost seemed blinding, but she had never thought about it. Never was she told that she was too bright for the sun. Her tail flicked as she continued her way. Her mind on things that she needed to do, or at least wanted to do. She also was still worry about the cheetah she had helped. He wasn't use to this area, and had caused himself to get exhausted once, she hoped her advice was good to keep him from doing it again.

A black and blue blur made her stop instantly. She shook her head and looked around to see where it had come from. To her surprise, it was another cheetah, once her eyes fell upon him. Her ears went up and forward a bit. All thoughts of the cheetah she had helped were gone for now. Perhaps this cheetah needed her help? She shrugged and decided it couldn't hurt to see.

"Hello," She said once she got close enough to him, now realizing it was a male cheetah. Not that it mattered, really, she was just glad she didn't call him a miss. That would have been embarrassing. She gave him a sweet smile. "I'm Hezo'nan"

User Image The male had been bland of life without restraints. Without them, he was nothing but an empty shell. Her fur weaving with the wind, and his mane draping over one side of his face. He hadn't thought on company. Segurue's dark pelt made the sun beat down on him harder than normal, but he remained unphased until he heard a voice. One side, he pondered answering, while the other side said to ignore.

It wasn't Bashira- nor her kids that were calling for him. Then likewise, without wanting to be completely rude he rose to his hunches, turned around to spot the voice and the silhouette of light, his golden eyes slitted to be able to capture the detail of the one coming for him. Ears fanned up then back as he pondered on what to say. He wasn't much of a talker like everyone else was.. so he let the silence linger between them, with the sound of the long grass dancing against each other before he spoke.

"Segurue." As if it was a command.

The cheetah, almost like a snake, hoped down with poise and strength down then stood at the foot of it to greet the 'light' one. Which, just gazing upon her, her pelt could be distracting but he found it to be a plus on her side. A lucky girl... with the scent of one. Unamused still, he waited on her approach. "Greetings..." Bowing his head when she had gotten close enough.

Then lifted his head to pierce his eyes in to hers... As if to shake her up, but it was his natural stare... His eyes though, had nothing within them. No emotion. He didn't know what those were, and wouldn't know how to properly use them anyways. Empathy.

"Have you come to drive me from this land." Something he had to protect his master and her kids from. Thoughs that drove them out, but he hadn't been aware of the scents up until this moment..

She was bit taken back by him, really. He seemed.... not real in a sense. She stopped and stared at him for a moment, as if to try to make something out of him. What? She wasn't sure. She thought a moment before speaking to him. "What? Why would I do a silly thing like that? " These weren't her lands, nor did they belong to anyone. At least, she didn't think they did. All she knew was that he was here, and she was here. As well as, she had no right to tell who could and couldn't be here.

"I was just seeing if you needed help." She said honestly. Best to get to the point of things, or she could end up making this cheetah mad.... If he was real.. She wasn't sure. She almost thought she was talking to a cheetah shaped rock.. But it had spoken, rocks can't speak which confused her more than anything.

Something about him was off, and she didn't know what.

User Image "Then- you too, are not from these lands." A knight of a family- singular in his attempts to understand the mind and how it worked for others. He was straight forward. If she was not from these lands, then why had she made herself known- which got him to squint and ponder. Then she spoke- which now made the missing piece of sense. Although- helping wasn't exactly the answer in which he thought would come up.

No.. He didn't need any 'help'. He needed commands and direction. But if it were not from his mouth, Emi ( Queen of the pride ) would have asked for someone to help him find 'happiness' and the ability to 'live' beyond just orders. But help like that, would mean re-writing the way lived thus far. Why he felt 'empty' when all his tasks, chores and missions were completed. Something was missing- and he had only thought it was the lack of responsibility and work for the moment.

Those eyes, that now looked glazed like glass again, crossed the bright colored cheetah's eyes. "No. He answered without hesitation. That blank stare... clearly in need of help to his 'soul' and not his immediate physical being, but he wouldn't admit to something of that nature. A moment of silence filled the air, and the tension built up could be sliced with a talon or two..

Then the male presumably started to walk, and his walk, made a wind that would gently graze upon her fur as he walked passed her. He didn't know where he was off to- but if she was not a local and not in command of this land. Then why waste any time longer, and if he stayed in that spot- another one would bother him to run him away- if only they knew how dangerous he could be.

She could help him find a 'heart' and fill his void LOL. -shot so hard-

She was taken aback by his answer, the sudden silence and now he got up and started to walk away. She stared at him for a moment before moving with him. "You're something else, you know that?" She said not irritatingly, but more curious. She'd never met someone so.... dead... If that was the right word for it, yet he was moving much like she or anyone else.

She wasn't sure why she was following him, but he didn't say she couldn't. He seemed to be the most interesting thing around this land, and she wanted a conversation. At least, now that he didn't need help, though something told her he did, he just didn't want to ask for it. She kept a smile upon her face, and followed him. Her tail flicking about.

Who knows if this male was dangerous, but that didn't even cross her mind. There was something she wanted to find out, but she wasn't sure what. Why did he walk away from her? Why didn't he start a conversation? Questions she wanted to be answered, but didn't know how to get the info without asking.

User Image When he started to walk, he could hear her footsteps come one after the other and almost in sync with his, yet she preferred to stay behind him as if he didn't know she was following him. His tail softly combed the high grass behind him, and the walk was a quiet one. Well, up until she abruptly said that 'you're something else, you know that' - but he didn't know how to respond to such a thing and neither want to.

If she chose to follow it was her choice.

The long silence grew until he felt a rumbling of the ground... He knew it wasn't in this plane.. Curiosity he felt only when extremely bored and that was just how today was from beginning to end. His walk stayed calm until finally it came to an end and when he peered down- it was a small ridge below with a small stream... and a stampede to boot. Of Wildebeests... He looked down and watched lightly... Til he found something struggling in between the dangerous herd.

When he took a closer look it was a cub. He drew his head back and watched... His choices to save others or let others die like the circle of life intended was based upon the will power of the other. His tail twitched.. as he monitored every moves and by now he had already found several ways down for him to save the cub.. but he will see if he deemed it to be saved.

She stopped beside him and peered down with him. At first, she wasn't sure what he had been looking at, until she too took a closer look. At first, she only saw the wildebeests, She looked harder to see what he was looking at, and soon it came into her view."Oh!" She said startled as she saw the cub, already looking for a way to get down the small ridge. It didn't even happen to come to her that she could end up getting killed trying to save the cub in the middle of all the chaos.

As fast as she could, she moved down the ridge, her thoughts on the male had totally disappeared from her. Her concern was on the cub that happened to get itself in any trouble. She was clumsy and had stumbled down have of the ridge, but caught herself at the last bit of it. "Oh dear, Oh dear!" She said to herself as she started to panic. Her ears dropped to her skull as she started too look for ways to try to avoid the on coming wildebeests.

Her heart was racing and her eyes were huge, looking every way she could before she finally moved down a bit from where the cub was trying to get into the stampede at a more safe way than just running in straight. If she ran towards the cub in the direction of the herd, she'd have more chances of saving the poor thing. Hear heart pounded with every step.

This was the very last thing she expected to do on this day.
