<A> Tricky Flower (Caelia/Tien)

"Hmmmmmmmmm." Caelia pondered out loud. "Upppp. I wanna look."

When Jinx finally complied, she was able to have a better look at the market stand. Yes, these were flowers much like the one she had - apparently there were a lot of them around now ! There was absolutely nothing wrong with this - flowers were for giving, or at least that was what Caelia was decided. If others decided to follow in her exemple, then all the better !

(Because she had came up with the concept of giving flowers away. Clearly.)

"Kay. Down." When she was back on solid ground, Caelia looked around. There were many people at the market, but she was looking for one in perticular - or at least someone who knew where she could be !

Maybe Tien would show her how to be tall after she have her that pretty orange flower ?

Caelia certainly was looking in the right place for her and it was likely that she did spot Trickery from her perch on Jinx's shoulders. The only problem was Augury would not know to look for someone who did not look like the goddess she had first met. She had been wandering through the market looking at the stalls to see what there was to see, as well as pick up tea- something they tended to go through a lot of in Taj's house. The mortals were beginning to decorate everything for the holidays it seemed- flowers that looked rather like poinsettias has appeared at several booths as well.

It had been a few hours and Tien was finally through with her browsing. She had been on her way back toward the Pantheon when she spotted Caelia. Had the little goddess snuck out alone again?

Well, there was only one way to find out the answer to that. She headed this way and that, weaving around mortals until she was able to get to Augury. "By yourself little one?"

At first the red headed woman who spoke to her might not seem familiar, but if she took the time to look she might recognize the smile.

Caelia looked up as she was addressed, head tilting to the side - and blinking as she watched the person. There was something familiar about her, but... Uh.

"Nuh uh." She nodded, rocking on her heels idly and bobbing her basket - still full of flowers - back an forth. "Came with daddy's kitty." Daddy's kitty being Jinx, apparently, who seemed more than used to be referred as such by now. "Came looking for my friend !"

Tien looked up from the little goddess to the feline woman standing behind her and smiled, nodding politely. The fact that she was 'Daddy's Kitty' seemed to point that she was an aoidei, one who bore a strange resemble to Asherah actually. For now she would play dumb and see how long it took Caelia to figure it out.

"Oh?" Her attention went back to the small girl when she mentioned looking for a friend. "Who might that be, dear? Maybe I can help you find them."

"Hmmmm..." There was that pensive expression again. "She's pretty-pretty... With orange hair." This was clearly an elaborate explaination. "And wings ! Little wings. Not like mine."

Oh, how she needed to find her friend... Hmmm. "D'you see her ?"

"Pretty-pretty. Orange hair and wings, hn..." Tien pretended to look thoughtful a moment.

"I think I might have seen her earlier, headed that way." She motioned in the direction of the Pantheon and the gardens. "I can help you look for her, if you like." Trickery glanced at Jinx a moment, looking for approval or any tell that the aoide was onto what she was up to. She did not mean Augury any harm of course, it was all in good fun.

Jinx seemed to have a good idea of what was going on, if the look on her face was any indication, but it looked like she would not be the one to inform the little goddess of the fact. Better have her learn that things are not always what they seem to be, after all. And even better if it was, ultimately, all in good fun as well.

"Could you ?" Caelia looked up at the 'stranger', giving her one of the most adorable pleading eyes known to mankind. With some eyelashes-batting for emphasis. "I need to give her something !" That something would probably be an easy guess for Tien, if the basket the young goddess was holding was of any indication.

It seemed the aoide knew, but was content to keep silent for the moment.

Tien glanced back down to Caelia and laughed. "Of course." With a look like that Augury could probably get nearly anything she wanted. If she was anything like Cosine she probably had Ankou wrapped around her little finger. Which, she had to admit, would make for a terribly amusing scene.

The gift, it seemed, was a flower- if the basket full of them was any indication. It seemed she had quite a few to give out from the looks of things.

Yay ! Of course the pretty lady would help. "Soooo... This way ?" The young goddess pointed toward the pantheon garden. They must have just missed her, then !

"Come on, Jinx." Of course, Caelia was the boss here and she would not allow anyone to forget about this particular fact.

"Of course." The cat's tail swished back and forth - a clear sign of her amusement.

"Mhm." Tien nodded and followed along beside Jinx. It was amusing though, if only from a mortal standpoint, with Caelia giving the orders. "I'm not sure where she went though once she passed the outer edge of the garden." A reasonable enough answer really; if she were actually a busy mortal and happened to see someone who looked a bit strange in passing it would not be uncommon to watch for a moment or two. Some mortals did like staring at oddities after all.

"Either of you have any ideas where we might look?"

"She might have went inside..." But she did not know which door was her's ! This was bad. This was very, very, very bad !

Think, Caelia. Think, think, think. The thoughtful look on the goddess' face was probably more adorable than she ever intended it to be. Where was the places she liked to hang out in ? "The little houses, maybe."

Little houses being the teahouses.

Tien smiled, covering her mouth politely to keep from giggling at Caelia.

"It seems a good place to start as any. Lead the way."

If an opportunity presented itself she would let Augury 'find' her. As to the specifics, well, that would depend on how things played out.

And Caelia would do just that - with the entusiasm Tien was familiar with. The young goddess bolted right for the first teahouse, peeking inside.

Not here...

Then came the second. No, not here either.

By the third, however, an idea seemed to have crossed the little girl's mind. She started looking under the cushions. Maybe her friend was hiding there !

Tien watched her check the first two, but the third however, seemed like a good opportunity. She shifted back while Caelia was occupied with cushion searching.

"Looking for me, were you?"

What what ????

Caelia looked up from her cushion search, sunrise-colored eyes wide like little saucers. Where had she come from ? The surprise was short-lived, however, and swiftly replaced by happiness. "There you are ! Been looking for you forever !" She pouted. Clearly, an hour was forever.

"This nice lady helped m-" Pause. "...Where'd she go ?"

Drat. Now she had someone else to find ! But first, she plucked a flower out of her basket. "For you~ !"
