"You've been more freaked than normal these last few days," Alfheim commented as he followed his sister down the sidewalk. Though, she was walking with a lot more purpose while he sounded utterly unconcerned and was playing with his glove, bracer, padding combo. Whatever his ancestors were up to, all these layers made him feel like a stale marshmallow and it was soooo uncomfortable.

"I told you," Zia muttered, stopping every so often to look over her shoulder out of habit. "What's the rule?" She asked, turning around and pointing at him like a teacher calling on a student.

"If I sense anything with an aura like Mimi's tell you and don't get distracted," Alfheim muttered. He was having a hard time with it, though. "Can't I just power down?" He asked, groaning like a child.

"No! We're looking for someone and I need a friggin' energy beacon!" Zia snapped and facepalmed at how unenthusiastic he was being about this. Oh god, was this what Valhalla went through when he tried to get her back into patrolling? She made a mental note to go shower him in apologies and concern for his mental health.

Maia was out as well, but she wasn't walking with her brother, no she was sort of using him as a punching bag, i.e. attempting to spar with him. She frowned looking at her brother who was down on the ground again.

"Maia, can we stop now. I need a break," Shang complained, which wasn't something he would usually do but it was embarrassing to have ones butt handed to them by their little sister for an hour.

Maia frowned, but stopped after a minute, feeling the energy heading for them. She looked to Shang, "Do you feel that," she asked looking at him seriously and giving him a minute to get his head on straight.

Shang sat up and nodded after a moment, "yeah I think. Its getting closer right?"

Maia nodded with a smile, "yup. Good or bad," she asked to which her brother responded that it felt like him, causing Maia to smile again. She held out her hand and helped her brother up. "Looks like you're going to get your break. Let's go see whose coming our way, maybe you can spar them."

Shang nodded, but frowned at Maia's words, he wasn't to keen on the whole training thing, but he found it was rather hard to escape his sister.

Zia and Alfheim kept walking, even though they multitasked with some serious bickering. Or, Zia was bickering. Now that this magical bullshit was becoming all very mundane to Alfheim, he was back to his mellow self and couldn't be bothered to get worked up like he used too.

"People," He said flatly, interrupting one of her rants.

"I--. What?"

"I dunno, energy," Alfheim was trying to adjust one of the belts on his shoulder armor and wasn't paying much attention.

"W-well... DMC? Good? Bad? Chaos? What?!" People was so non-descriptive, Zia could just about kill him. And then he just pointed.

But Zia turned and just a little ways down the street saw two vary familiar redheads and perked up immediately, waving one arm high in the air like a madwoman before running up to them, dragging Alfheim behind her.

"Maia! Sh-- what's wrong with Shang?"

Maia grinned at seeing the familiar head of purple curls and waved excitedly as the girl ran towards her and her brother dragging another offering a greeting as she made her way over. Maia frowned slightly giving her brother a look, that clearly said you didn't tell me Zia knew his powered form.

He shrugged at her, "when I ran into her I was like this and I recognized her," he started before looking over himself and then to Zia and the page with her.

"Maia thinks I need training, so we were sparring," he said trying to straighten his rumpled clothing.

Maia gave Zia a look, "he's not very good just yet, but I'm sure he'll get better soon. Might even be able to stay on his feet for more than five minutes."

Shang looked somewhat mortified before attempting to change the subject, "Still running around at night fighting youma huh, Zee? And you got a friend to help this time too?"

Maia nodded and smiled at purple haired guy with Zia, "Nice to meet you," she said before looking back to Zia for an introduction doubting her friend would let the guy introduce himself.

Zia held in a fit of laughter when Shang said they had been sparring, but the amusment on her face was blatantly clear. "Looks less like sparring and more like Maia beating the crap out of you, but okay. Of course, I take all the credit, as her guardian cat."

"Tch, stop preening," Alfheim had to interject, but he was still distracted by his uniform. "Ugh, he gets normal pants!" He complained gesturing to Shang when he glanced up.

"I'm not looking for youma right now, I'm looking for a guy," Zia had quickly figured out that to get anything done without a ton of bickering, she needed to flat out ignore a lot of her brother's complaints about the unfairness of the universe.

"DMC senshi. Long pants, glittery blue overlay, glasses?" She didn't know if she should hope or dread an affirmative answer.

"I'm not her friend, I'm an unwilling participant. Alfheim, of Earth," he introduced, holding out a hand go shake when appropriate in spite of his muttering and reluctant demeanor.

Maia laughed lightly at Zia's assessment, but Shang frowned deeply not liking that it looked like he had been beaten up. He had been in a way, but at least she was not trying to hurt him. He straightened his shirt a bit more before looking to Alfheim who mentioned his pants. He frowned at the tight, "quite glad for pants too. I don't think I'd go out if I had to wear tights."

"You would," Maia interjected before turning her attention back to Zia who mentioned a guy. Of course DMC had her full attention, but she shook her head. "Unless he's not powered up, he's not around here. Haven't seen him and I don't feel anything," Maia said before frowning slightly.

"Why are you looking for him Zia? Is something wrong," she asked.

Shang only partially paid attention to Maia and Zia, but turned to Alfheim at his introduction. "Willing, but barely," he said making to shake the other's hand, "Shangri-la of Pluto and she's Maia, my little sister."

He looked back to Maia and Zia, "I haven't seen the glittery blue guy either, if that helps any," not noticing the frown his sister wore.

"No, everything is so not okay," Zia said, looking dead serious. She was done with joking, even if Alfheim hadn't quite picked up on that. "This creep's been following me. He knows all kinds of s**t. My situation with my dad, my boyfriend's name, where I patrol, it's just... ugh..." She went pale considering what else this guy would know. Especially since he threatened to use it.

"Finally got ahold of him the other night but suddenly he was on top of me and... and he... I don't know, Maia, he just made a lot of threats. Took my pocketknife as a souvenir so just... be careful. I mean, he had to have been watching for over a month at least. I haven't been home in three days."

"Yeah no one has," Alfheim said with a roll of the eyes, but he had at least lost a lot of the pep he had been resisting Zia with. If this guy existed, and he wasn't saying for sure he did because Zia didn't seem quite right in the head, he really didn't like thought of someone watching her that closely. Because who would?

Maia frowned and the frown was mirrored by Shang, neither liked what they were hearing. It wasn't okay that Zia was being stalked and nor was it okay that he seemed to have attacked her.

Shang gave a small glare to Alfheim at the comment and the eye roll, "not cool," he muttered moving over to his sister and Zia.

"So is he an eternal then? And I guess that's why you are currently Zia and not Zirc, or is there another reason for that," she asked slightly confused about why her friend was running about at night as just herself, not that she wasn't fully capable.

Shang nodded, "so it's better if she is cat then?"

Maia shook her head though, "not necessarily." She looked over to the knight that was with her. "Alfheim, right? How did you get dragged into all this? If your running around with Zia you know what going on then right?"

Shang looked to Zia, "uh if you haven't been home, where are you staying? In a hotel?"

"No, he's basic," Zia said with a nod, but frowned a bit. "Or a super. I dunno. I haven't powered up in forever, though." She still did occasionally, but it still felt creepy. She wasn't Zirconia, that was another person. She was just Zia.

Alfheim rolled his eyes again at the judgment. Shang didn't have to grow up with Zia, he didn't know how she could beeee. Except a part of him was deeply concerned, he was just uncomfortable with anyone knowing it was there. God, why was he so weird about protecting his sister? He felt protective over other people, while she protected him.

Zia was fine with this. This was the natural order of things in her eyes, and she gave him a light pat on the arm with a smirk, trying not to look so pale and wierded out by the whole topic of Sailor Orpheus. "Anyway, all I know is he is super creepy," She muttered, rubbing her wrists from where his hands held her down and recalling his predator smiling with more accuracy than she cared to.

"I've been crashing on couches. Friends, family,"

"--Mine," Alfheim muttered.

"You're family," Zia laughed. "He gets dragged along because he's my brother. Barely a week awakened," She reached up to pinch his cheek, which only made him glare and look in the other direction.

Maia nodded taking note of everything Zia said just in case she ran into the senshi. She didn't like the idea of someone stalking her friend. If she ran into him she would probably be having more than words with him about it. She gave Zia an odd look at the statement about powering up, but let it slide for the moment being. It was probably not a conversation for just then anyway.

She nodded and then took to shaking her head at Zia's saying she was crashing on couches. And gave a small laugh at Alfheim's interjection followed by Zia explanation.

Shang frowned, "so basically, your doing what Maia is doing with me? Are you making him spar too, or rather beating him up when you feel like it."

Maia gave her brother an indignant look, crossing her arms, "I do not beat you up and beside you need to learn how to fight. You know its dangerous. Just last week you were patching up the spear wound on me. You want to avoid that as much as possible right?"

She turned to Zia pouting, "you think he would get it. He's only been patching me up for three years."

She looked to Alfhiem, "sparring is good for you. Who wants a negaverser beating up on there sibling?"

Shang gave Maia a one armed hug, "aww don't be like that Songbird. I get it I do." He looked to Zia, "you know I'm sure Lily wouldn't have minded if you crashed with her. At least that way you get a bed."

"Aw, I wouldn't want to put her out," Zia said with a smile as she very blatantly lied. Because no, she totally didn't mind, point the way, Maia.

Alfheim snorted and shook his head. He was a large man who would not be taken down by the likes of his sister, even if she wasn't a 90 poind waif anymore. "Yeah, no, she doesn't spar with me."

"Not for lack of trying."

"And I definitely haven't been beaten to the ground yet. The one Chaos-y person I've even come across was perfectly nice except for Zia being a b***h to her." He still didn't get why Mimi was such a crime against nature, but Zia had more history with that stuff than him.
PostPosted: Sat Dec 08, 2012 9:31 pm

Maia gave a laugh at Zia statement. "You wouldn't be putting my out at all. If you want to come you are more than welcome to it. We can have another sleepover and talk about these too. We could even stay at the big house and kick Xander out for the night." She laughed again, as she was only joking and wouldn't kick her brother out, plus there wasn't much in the big house aside from beds, a dining room set, and food.

Shang frowned at her, then he frown deepened at the fact that Alfheim wasn't getting sparring training. It didn't seem very fair that Shang was getting bruised like every night and not him. "I think you got off easy," he muttered to himself.

Maia smiled though, "you can spar with me if you like. I don't mind. And if you're worried about hurting me, don't be. I'd be fine, well maybe more than fine. As for the chaos girl. I met a negaverser a while back, who was a nice person who even told me a bit of negaverse history and seemed good enough. Last week he tried to stab, well he did cut me with a spear. Lesson learned. Trust me even if she hasn't done anything yet, she has her orders." Maia didn't like the words, she wasn't trying to promote war between them, but she also wanted to avoid a lot of the confusion she got into. Chatting up the other side often lead to no good.

Shang didn't really know what to say, this was turning out to be a lot more that he bargained for and he wasn't much for all the talking they were doing. He was just happy, that he wasn't getting his butt handed to him.

"Oh yeah? Have you been bitched at by a zombie yet?" Alfheim retorted to Shang's muttering.

Zia rolled her eyes and put her hands on her hips. "Oh my god, you guys, stop bitching. You at least get powers. What do I get? I get turned into a housecat." She laughed at Maia's offer of another sleepover, though. Especiall at the thought of kicking her brother out.

"Aw, well, I'd hate to be mean. I'd love to sleep over with Xander too," She said, winking at Shang, which prompted Alfheim to facepalm. "And hey, don't worry, Maia, that very special night when we got to second base is still a treasured memory."

"Are you just socially retarded?" Alfheim felt the need to ask, even though she was obviously teasing them in the hopes of getting a reaction.

"Are you just jealous?"
PostPosted: Mon Dec 10, 2012 7:20 pm

Shang just raised an eyebrow at Alfheim, he didn't know how to respond to that. Of course he hadn't be 'bitched' at by a zombie and he highly doubted Alfheim had either. It seemed like an entirely stupid question, though it was more likely that Shang was just missing something.

Maia laughed at Zia comment than looked to Shang and Alfheim, "don't let her fool you, she's no housecat. She can shoot a laser stun thing out of her head as a cat and she uped me to eternal. Cats are awesome even if the laser thing makes them dizzy I think. I don't know."

Xander gave a rather confused look at Zia not understanding at all why she would want to have a sleepover with him. He clearly didn't get it. "Isn't that a girl thing? I don't see why you would want to have a sleepover with me. My bed's kind of hard and I .."

Maia turned bright red and yelled, "Not funny Zia, that so did not ever happen, you ...,"but she dissolved into a fit of giggles at her brother's ramblings. "Shang really, stop, please stop. For a doctor, you're dense big brother."

Shang flushed and frowned at Maia.

"Yeah, housecat, or 5'8 humanoid, golly gee," Zia rolled her eyes. She really didn't have faith in Zirconia, or her forms. Not anymore, at least. And she would've gone on teasing Shang except when he mentioned it being too hard to sleep with him she just blinked a few times and waved him off.

"I... yeah, no, I can't. That's too easy, there's just no sport in it."

"Don't you have a boyfriend?" Alfheim snapped from his extended facepalm that he wasn't going to stop until she stopped being so embarrassing.

"Eeeeyaaaaaano," Zia groaned and shrugged and quickly tried to move the subject on. "So! So! IS Shang reincarnated, or not? Because I thought you were all reincarnated!" She threw up her hands and then enthusasitcally poked Alfheim in the arm. "Not him! It's genetic. Isn't that cool?"
