The Mother: Very headstrong and usually lets her anger get away from her, Nakita speaks her mind and always has to be right, she is never wrong. Never. Her opinion of males is not a very high one, they are like a speck of dust and they should all be enslaved. When it comes to battle or a fight, she has a fiery temper and a calculating mind; she is smart, but she would rather not have others know that fact, for she does not want to be labeled as a dork, like her sister.
Once she gets to know someone and likes that person, she is fiercely loyal and would consider them a close friend, although her list of soquili she likes is not as long as the one of dislikes (it goes on for miles). She has changed a bit since leaving the Flock; she is more accepting of males and does not try to make every one she sees into her slave. When she stumbled across Cyrus, he was just going to be a play thing, not anything of true feelings. But fate and time had other ideas. As she got to know the stallion, she could not imagine sharing him with other mares; so she did something to insure that he would always be hers. Lifemated him.
She has trouble expressing her love, but that acceptance of him as her mate, showed those who know her best how much the stallion truly means to her.
Nakita had plans to return to the Flock, but now that she has found a place outside, the choice to return is difficult; her family is outside the Flock, but her best friend is within the Flock.

The Father: Information in a post below.

So! Now that you have read through everything, you can now try for the wonderful basket! Just fill out the form and answer the prompt!
Prompts:
1) As you go to bed each night your mother tells you tales about the Flock, do they seem too good to be true? Do they inspire in you a sense of adventure? Do you wish you join the Flock when you are older, or explore the world?
2) One day you find yourself away from your mother and father, as you keep walking you find yourself in the deep woods. What do you do? Go home? Or continue to explore? If so what do you find?
3) Write about any situation that you want that involves the foal. It can be funny, serious, sad, etc. The outcome is up to you.

The Father: Cyrus is by first appearances a simple stallion who may seem uneducated to the ways of the world. In reality he has much to offer in the way of knowledge but he is hesitant to share his interests with anyone. He has a deep passion for mechanics and technology of any sort but few know of his interests. In his youth he experienced great disappointment when he was rejected by his father. Since then he has found it hard to connect with any males and fears his own abilities as a father may not be sufficient.
He has a deep respect for all females, having been raised by two mothers. He feels he has a deep connection with Nakita and he will follow her to the end of the earth if needed. He appreciates her strong personality and is happy to take the submissive role at times while still providing her with an intellectual match. The Grandfather: Julius leads a double life. He plays the role of the clocksmith, a gloomy character who roams the Soquili lands on his own in search of things to fix. Though he is not a social stallion he will fix any broken items brought to him as long as their owners do not pry too much into his work and life. He is no-nonsense and doesn't like to waste time with idle chatter. Although he portrays a harsh exterior he does have a softness inside. He is fascinated by soquili with unique qualities and may easily fall in love with them but will keep his feelings to himself.
Julius also secretly plays the role of the mortician. Passed onto him from his father Julius works to help the dead pass onto their next life. He believes the only way a Soquili can pass on is by having a mortician like himself perform the rights for them. If these rights are not performed he believes the dead will be trapped as ghosts. He feels this is a very dangerous job as he works closely with death and this makes him fearful to get close to others. He tries to keep this part of his life secret from anyone who does manage to become part of his life.

My Precioussssss! Name: (m) Holmes / (f) Scully Monrey
Name Meaning: (yeah, I went there XD)
Temper: Inquisitive/Logical
Personality: The kid will be very intellectual and strong willed, like most of their family. They will take very heavily after grandpa, wanting to know the ins and outs of everything they see. Mysteries are extreme temptations to this little one and everything, no matter how strange, has to have a logical explanation. They will be a little weird to other kids their age but that's just fine with them. Though normally everything is fine with them, they will have a bit of an attitude when slighted, and take after their mom, wanting to find whatever the problem is and stomp it out of existence.
Do you Like to RP?: Yup! 8D
Plots: ALL OF THE PLOTS~!! Anything having to do with mysteries All family plotting please and thank you Growing up (possibly depending on gender) with the flock
Prompt Response: (i'll play as Scully)
Scully was on a mission, she blocked out everything else when she was on the trail of something BIG. Well, not really, she was playing a simple game of hide and seek. But nonetheless...it was a mystery! Where did they all go? She never quite understood where this need to KNOW things came from, some of the other kids thought her silly for wanting to know and look for things that seemed rather irrelevant to them. Silly dodderheads, they didn't know a daffodil from a dandelion. She had asked her mother many times about her interest in mysteries and trying to find out how, dare she say it, things "tick." Her mother of course knew where it all came from, why her father was the same way, perhaps it had skipped a generation or all the clockmakers had made an impression, genetics were weird like that sometimes. But having a smart female in the family was something to be proud of, so there were no complaints when Scully felt the urge to investigate strange things. Ah! There! She found another small hoof print and by her calculations...She suddenly jumped at a bush, her wings outstretched and spooked a colt from his hiding place. The cold huffed at her " how did you find me so fast!?" She smirked at him " I followed your trail, and you were hiding in the only logical place around. Simple!" The colt sighed and joined the rest of the bunch also found by Scullys remarkable detective skills.
Anything else? This family <3 Thanks for the opportunity!

My Precioussssss! Name: Madden | Admeta
Name Meaning: Drive insane | Untamed
Temper: Illogical
Personality: Illogical, at least they will have you believe that. Intelligent but not liking to show it so, the foal's mood is mercurial at best. Speaking nonsense under their breath constantly while observing the world for what it is and how it reacts to the unnatural or just plain not-normal.
Do you Like to RP?: YES, thought nudges here and there help cause I get distracted sometimes 83
Plots: I would like to know the gender/how the foal looks before thinking up plots but mostly I WANT ALL THE FAMILY PLOTS. Such as meeting Grandpapa Asking daddy where foals come from and trying to figure out mommy's views towards males(especially if the foal is a boy) Perhaps meeting someone from the Flock whose views are as Nakita's were before she met Cyrrus.
Prompt Response: 2 (as Madden)
He was...lost...There was no other word for it. Maybe conveniently misplace or irresponsibly absent...No..no, he'll stick to just lost. Madden turned himself in circles making a mess of his hoof prints on the ground. Perhaps he should go back the way he came from, but what good would that be? That was the path that had gotten him lost in the first place, not to mention it was full of ticking. He hated the ticking, it was always there, but it was unbelievably loud whenever around others.
No, he go into another path. Jumping over a fallen tree, he pressed an ear to it for a moment. Hmm...there it was, tick, tick, tick, tick. It was slow and uneven. The roots of the tree still lay half in the dirt, perhaps it will survive or move on to make the ground more fertile to others. Either way, he lost interest quickly as a bird flew by. With a twitch of his tail, he leaped after it, trying to catch it. He whistle and chirped his own little song, keeping his vision upon it. The ticking was rapid and ever so alive. He wonder if a well place kick would end it.
His nose wiggle, distracting him from the bird and back to his own feet. Oops, he pulled his front leg up to look at a stomped on flower. How unfortunate, his hoof smelled funny now. Sighing, he walked around the flower and kicked up some dirt over it before he continue walking. Madden watched the world go by, here and there a shadow in the distance that he was quiet sure was another foal or soquili, but unknowing if it was one of his parents or even a sibling.
Coming up to a large muddy puddle, he gave it a few pokes. Hmm, how much would his mother hate it if he came back with a newly obtain brown coat? He chortled softly at being mischievous, bowing, he leaped into the mud and rolled around it until he was an even shade of mucky brown, giggling softly as he just lay there. His eyes follow lizard running in the underbush and stuck out his tongue. Mud tasted funny. Certainly different from humid dirt or stone dry earth.
He laid there, quietly enjoying the spinning movement of the earth under him lulling him into a half sleep until he heard the familiar hooves of his father.
Anything else? Thank you for the opportunity to try join your awesome family of soqs

My Precioussssss! Name: [m] Chronos Monrey [f] Chronas Monrey
Name Meaning: The base 'Chrono' is derrived from Greek meaning 'Time'
Temper: Ephemeral
Personality: [I will be using Chrono for my prompt, just picking a gender although male or female will be the same] Chrono will he a mild soul, not as bold as his mother or sibling (Thalea's) nor as reserved/submissive as his father. He has a pleasant and polite demeanor, preferring to alter his own attitude to serve the situation he's in. Adding some rambunctiousness for someone playful, quiet for someone bashful etc as he does aim to keep the peace. Chronos however is a dying clock per say, as the boy suffered from a unique case of memory loss. His trigger in his mind is the chime of a clock and its like it comes to a stop and the time/length of his loss can vary to the day, to the whole week or a hour in an instance. He doesn't have control over his situation, but he plays it off the best he can. He never forgets everything, mostly loses a period of time in his life which can get messy when he is hanging out with someone new and suddenly forgets the past hour and wonders why he's being followed. Sometimes the memories come back later, sometimes they are gone forever as his 'clock' starts ticking again.
Do you Like to RP?: There are little words to describe how addicted I am to rp LOL. I can link you to at least a dozen completed and long rps.
Plots: To save from a novel I will keep it short lulz! In specific though, family hardcore, personality fleshing, and of course if chosen to come along to the flock with all the deliciousness there. <3 I would rather wait till I see and get a feel of rping with the family dynamic before fleshing out try and true plots for his adulthood since it stems from major changes and influences in his or her youth!
Prompt Response: [Freestyle - #3]
The trail was long and his legs were getting tired as a soft sigh escaped his throat. It maybe didn't help that he was lost, and couldn't quite recall why he wasn't at home, or why none of these paths looked familiar. Frowning his brows Chronos was getting a little frustrated, knowing mother would be worried. Did he come with his siblings? Unable to smell anyone familiar, the colt kept his pace strong. It would be dark soon, and the young boy knew of the dangers for those wandering in the woods in the eve.
"Chronos! Wait!" A voice! Also unfamiliar, but when he turned he saw a little filly bound up to him out of breath and rather...irritated. "Where are you going? You are supposed to be seeking me!"
"What for...?" Stopping in his tracks he turned around and tilted his head, trying to think of any memories of this little filly and was pulling up none. He would have remembered someone so different from his own family. "I have no business with you..."
"Business? We were playing hide and go seek and you're it!" She stomped her hoof, snorting. "It was your idea!"
Squinting his eyes, he realized that the words she implied meant that she knew him...that was plain to see. Also that they were currently in a game....one which he had no recollection of. Chronos wondered if she was mistaken, because he was absolutely, positively sure he'd never met her in his life. "You must be mistaking me for someone else...sorry." He stated, only to have the filly gasp and stomp her hoof.
"You're a jerk! You don't have to play stupid if you don't want to play with me." With that, she stormed off, looking genuinely upset behind the anger and leaving Chronos wondering if maybe he could have been a little nicer about her mistake when he could hear the calling of his mother and perked his ears. It didn't phase him to run in the direction she called for the opportunity not to wander around along anymore. "Coming Mother!" He bellowed, reuniting with his family once more.
-Later that night-
A soft chime woke him from his slumber, lifting his head while his family slept around him and opened his hazed and drooped eyes. Looking left, and looking right he wondered for a moment when that fun little filly, named Marsie was going to show up and find him. He had such a great hiding spot and..... "Oh...." He breathed quietly, the realization of his present and the past catching up to him. Thinking back, he felt a pang of guilt in his chest for saying what he had said and the hurt on her face and felt his ears drop as he laid his head back down. The game was well over, and now seeing the entire picture of the day with a missing piece of the puzzle put into his pace he realized he'd lost...and more or less lost a potential friend at the same time. Sighing, the colt curled back up and drifted to sleep...tomorrow was another day, after all. In the very least, his family was the only constant thing which refused to be forgotten...and when all else stopped ticking away through time....they were always there for him.
Anything else? Bazinga! (Thanks for the fun opportunity 8D )

My Precioussssss! Name: Arianthe Monrey(female) // Thierry Monrey (male) Nicknames: Ari (female) // Tay (male)
Name Meaning: song; flower(female) // ruler of the people (male)
Temper: insecure (female) // judgmental (male)
Personality: Female: Growing up in the shadow of a very strong mother, Arianthe felt she could never measure up, never be good enough. She wasn't strong, wasn't confident . But she wanted to have the approval of her mother, so she tried to act the part of the perfect daughter. She acted like a mini version of her mother, though with small hesitances that give away the fact that she isn't quite what she pretends to be.
If given the opportunity, she likes to be away from others, preferring to be with nature rather than her family or other soquili.She has a fascination with plants and growing things, and she enjoys nurturing them. She also likes small, fluffy animals and helping those that others consider to be lost causes.
Male: Thierry is very strong willed and opinionated. He knows right and wrong, but believes that it doesn't really apply, unless it suits him. This leads him to constantly butt heads with his mother, though he does love and respect her. He does not, however, agree with her views of just about anything. He marches to the beat of his own drum, not really following in the footsteps of any of his family members - he is very intelligent but knowledge doesn't mean much to him. He enjoys tinkering with things, but it isn't more than a hobby. He has not found what he is passionate about yet.
Do you Like to RP?: I like to rp when life permits
Plots: -basic plots subject to change based upon rp- Foal: Either gender- *family rp (with parents, with siblings, with grandfather) * foalhood exploration and adventures *finding friends/rivals
Female: *more rp with mother - specifically dealing with learning traditions and about the flock * animal in distress : she finds an animal that has been injured and she tries to help it (perhaps it will eventually become her familiar….) Male: *rough and tumble - he is a typical boy, he gets into fights and scuffles, he comes back home battered bruised and a bit worse for the wear * butting heads with mom
Teen: Either gender- * puppy love/first crush * rival
Adult: Male- * Joining the Flock- (if he can find a flock affiliated female - mate only- who can put up with him) * Finding His Path
Prompt Response: 1) As you go to bed each night your mother tells you tales about the Flock, do they seem too good to be true? Do they inspire in you a sense of adventure? Do you wish you join the Flock when you are older, or explore the world? Ari sighed as she listened to yet another story of the flock. To hear mother tell it, the flock was an Amazonian sisterhood. A haven for strong independent females. Where males were as good as pets. Useful for any skills they might possess and for breeding purposes. And they were often shared around at whim. There were bits and pieces of flock lore that appealed to her. But more and more it sounded too good to be true. And there were some ideals she could not agree with no matter what. She knew it would please Nakita if she were to eventually join the flock, but even for her mother's approval there was a limit to what she would or would not do. And compromising who and what she was was something she would not do …. for anyone. So perhaps she might not like the fact she was far from the daughter her mother wanted and she might wish with all her heart that one day she might earn the respect of mother, she could not walk the path of the flock. Nor could she be her mother.
She would have to find her own way and perhaps that would be enough.
Anything else?

My Precioussssss! Name: xxxxxღ Antikythera Monrey { Male } xxxxxღ Sa’atchand Monrey { Female }
Nickname: xxxxxღ Antik { Male } xxxxxღ Atcha { Female }
Name Meaning: xxxxxღ One of the earliest known examples of a clockwork mechanism; it is a first century BC geared astrolabe device for calculating star positions, recovered from a Greek shipwreck. I chose this name because of the clockwork that Cyrus holds, and it seemed to be an important part of the history of clocks. { Male } xxxxxღ Sa'at chand is the Persian word for "Escapements". Escapements are the mechanics in the clock that make them tick. I believe them to be the heart of the clock, which makes it beat ( tick ). I chose Persian because of how the mother looked. She reminds me of something very exotic. { Female }
Temper: xxxxxღ Analytical { Male } - Meaning he does things very technical, and thinks about things before doing them. xxxxxღ Carnal { Female } - Meaning she goes by pure carnal need. She doesn't quite think about what she does, and instead just does it.
Personality: xxxxxxxxxღ Male ღ xxxxx Antikythera is a very happy-go-lucky foal. He loves to enjoy life, and finds that, despite the hardships he is sure to face, he will be one of the luckiest stallions in all the world. He learned quickly how to fix things ( mainly from his father ); since then he has been extremely good at it. Always the jump to help kinda guy, Antikythera finds that even the smallest creatures need a helping hoof sometimes. He loves to play games, and be told riddles or puzzles. He believes that his intellect is something to be treasured; and wants nothing more than to learn all that he can in the short amount of time that he has on the planet. { Foal }
xxxxx As he matures, Antikythera will change. At first, he believes that the world around him has developed into one of great responsibility; where no time for "happy-go-lucky" can be had. No longer does he go and play games or do puzzles ( though he still very much so enjoys mind stimulation ). Now he focus's souly on tinkering and fixing what he can. He finds that people need more help than he thought they would. And where as his knowledge of fixing things has expanded vastly, he feels that he must expand it more to include things not of the mechanical realm. Often times he holds a serious look on his face; but if you bring him the right item to fix, with the right attitude, you will see a glimmer of light enter his eyes, and the smallest hint of a smile cross his features. He still becomes very happy at the prospect of doing the job he felt he was born to do. { Young Adult }
xxxxx Now fully matured, Antikythera acts as he feels his entire life built him up to. He is a very serious stallion, especially when working on something. But get him talking about his work, and he grows more and more excited, as well as overjoyed, at the conversation. In his spare time, he does riddles and puzzles in his head, enjoying the thoughts. He finds that he also enjoys going on walks and examining the world around him. Not only does he fix technical stuff, but he has taught himself ( and his familiar ) to fix other things as well. From wicker items, to cloth, and even relationships that he has noticed could falter. He has learned to fix them all ( though mechanical stuff is still his love ). He likes to talk with anyone who is willing to listen, and listen to anyone who is willing to talk. Antikythera enjoys the world around him very much, even if at times he doesn't show it very well. { Adult }
xxxxx Due to her nature, Antikythera highly respects his mother. He finds that she is one of, if not the, most important people in all the lands. He always answers her very respectively; such as calling her "ma'am" or "mother". The stallion will usually go out of his way to do whatever he can to please her. And where as he does not think of himself as her slave or as someone far beneath her, he does know that she holds a sort of higher rank than he does when it comes to most things. Antikythera loves his mother to death, and if it came to choosing his life to save or hers, he would die in an instant if it meant preserving her life for another day. { Toward Mother }
xxxxx Antikythera is very loving toward his father. He looks up to the stallion, and enjoys watching him work. He believes that, without his father, he would be stuck in a place where he would never be able to escape. He enjoys being able to go to his father and learn all that he can. He feels like he can be a "pal" toward his father, and just talk to him without a worry in the world. If there was ever something that he was concerned about, he is certain that he can talk to Cyrus about it. There are often times that the son would offer to do anything for his father, if it meant spending more time with him. { Toward Father }
xxxxx Loving and protective, the oldest sibling is very firm in his belief that if his siblings need him, he will be there. Antikythera takes his position as the first born very seriously; he finds himself to be a sort of role-model and best friend to his younger siblings. He's gentle toward them; but if he must, he will be firm in his thoughts and actions to ensure they remain safe. { Toward Siblings }
xxxxx His personal role-model and hero, Julius inspires Antikythera. He finds that his grandfather is the entire reason that he has formed such a close bond with the work that he enjoys doing. Whenever his grandfather comes around, he finds himself to be on his best behavior and try to empress the older stallion. He's always very polite, and enjoyable. And despite his grandfathers lack of enjoyment to talking, Antikythera doesn't mind nor think it rude. Instead, he talks as much as he thinks Julius would find tolerable, and is careful not to get on the side that would make Julius irritated. All together, Antikythera loves and respects his grandfather to the highest regard. { Toward Julius }
xxxxxxxxxღ Female ღ xxxxx Headstrong and full of herself, this little filly knows what she wants. And, generally, she knows how she's going to go about getting it. Sa'adchand is very smart, despite her age. She knows how to manipulate people into getting her way; be it by being cute or by using methods of trickery and deceit. Generally, she is a very sweet foal on the outside. She is known to be able to "sugarcoat" everything that comes her way into something of a better situation. There are times where she seems to be one of the most "quiet" fillies in all of the lands. Somehow, she has found she has a calling toward words. Though she can't really understand it, nor can she deal with it fully, she has found that it doesn't fully bother her lately, but when the overwhelming feeling of phrases that have a deeper meaning crosses her, she bursts into tears. Though she has never explained this to her family. Generally, she is a very "go for what you want" kind of girl, with a slight twist to her inner being. { Foal }
xxxxx Now a little more mature than when she was younger, Sa'adchand has learned much. She finds that she is above most people that she sees. And though she is still young, she is very full of herself. She knows herself to be beautiful and strong, and strives in that knowledge. She's very particular about how she does things, and likes to do them in a specific order. Still somewhat naive in her ways, she doesn't think things all the way through before reacting to them. Generally this is a bad thing, though she doesn't really care one way or another. So long as she is able to get what she wants, or the reaction she craves, she's game. The young mare's senses for words has grown stronger since she was a foal, and she continues to keep it a secret in hopes of not being seen as odd toward her family. She tries to ignore it, but for the most part keeps the words locked back into a "storage" area of her brain to use at a later time, in case someone needs to hear those specific words. { Young Adult }
xxxxx The best way to describe this now adult female would be "carnal". She goes easily by what she desires; be it food, actions, words, or even pleasures. She doesn't really think about what she does, but just goes by impulse or her internal need ( even if it isn't exactly something she really needs ). Sa'adchand usually gets what she wants, but when she doesn't she doesn't dwell on it either; just lets it pass by her as if it doesn't affect her. The words that seem to have been affecting her all her life still reside deep within her mind. Occasionally she will use those words in order to help with anyone that is around her; if they need a pick me up or a knock in the head ( with words ) she is generally the person to go to. She says what she wants, and doesn't hold back any longer, as she finds that blunt truth is better than any other she could give. { Adult }
xxxxx Respectful, Sa'adchand loves her mother. She thinks of her as the best thing on this planet. She enjoys listening to her mothers stories, as well as asking questions. As she matures, she has begun to take on the same mindset as her mother toward males. She finds them as beneath her, and the only exceptions are those related to her. She enjoys all moments with her mother, and hopes to one day live up to her standards. { Toward Mother }
xxxxx She is definitely a "daddy's girl" at times. Sa'adchand finds her father to be the one stallion that she actually admires; due to him being her father. She finds him interesting at times, and at others quite boring ( she doesn't get the whole clock working/tech working stuff ). Though she sometimes wanders away from him, she loves to curl up next to him and listen to him tell stories, or talk to him about her hopes and dreams. If anyone were to ever harm her, her father would be the first person that she would go to. { Toward Father }
xxxxx Being the eldest, she isn't quite sure how to handle younger siblings. She is quite full of herself, after all. And due to that she likes to be the center of attention. She feels competitive toward them. But if anyone were to try and hurt them, she would defend them to the best of her ability; both in words and actions. No one messes with her family; not while she's still standing that is. { Toward Siblings }
Do you Like to RP?: xxxxxღ By far yes. Role-play is the main reason I came into Soquili, to be honest. The other B/C shops I went to didn't have it as extensively as Soquili does, and I fell in love at first seeing it be true. I love role-play too much for my own good, honestly. xxxxxღ Here is a link to my Teepee. Every Soquili, in their second post, has their role-play links, if you would like to look at them.
Plots: xxxxx Generally I like to plot as I go, but here are some ideas so you kind of know how I would like the foal's life to develop/what direction it could go.
xxxxxxxxxღ Basket ღ xxxxxⅰ. I have an idea to have both Cyrus and Nakita be distracted by one Soquili while another tries to steal the basket. At this time, I would hope that they would be near the Flock, and perhaps a Sister ( I can offer Vanwyn for this plot ), sees what is going on while she is out exploring, and runs the one off that is trying to steal the baskets. From there, Nakita and Vanwyn can talk and the like, and the baskets would be safe from being taken. { Male/Female } xxxxxⅱ. I would love to have basket popping role-plays. I always find them very enjoyable. { Male/Female }
xxxxxxxxxღ Foal ღ xxxxxⅰ. Interaction with the family is a must. For a male, I would love to have some father/son role-play where he is learning how to tinker with objects. With a female, I would love role-play where she learns from her mother about the life of the Flock, as well as life in general. { Male/Female } xxxxxⅱ. Mesmorized by the stories of the Flock, she will be very curious as to how the creatures known as "Harpies" actually act. Many role-play interactions, with the possibility of actually talking to a Harpy, would be fantastic. { Female } xxxxxⅲ. Role-plays with the grandparents would be awesome. { Male/Female } xxxxxⅳ. At the young age, I would love for familiars to come into place. For the male, a small mouse to help with his tinkering, since he will some day be too big to be able to do the little things. And for the female, a bobcat that is as lovely as she, and yet as fierce as she as well. { Male/Female } xxxxxⅴ. Other foal role-plays; I just find it fun to have two foals interacting and meeting, becoming friends or enemies and meeting again later when they are grown. { Male/Female }
xxxxxxxxxღ Adult ღ xxxxxⅰ. As a young adult, I would want Antikythera to find himself approached by Julius to be his apprentice. I love the idea of this, and think it would be fun to play with. Not only would he learn, but he will also come back to visit his family whenever he could. { Male } xxxxxⅱ. If that option is not available, Antikythera will be at the aid of his family. He will wander around and help anyone that he can as he grows and matures. He will be known as a stallion who anyone can go to for aid or fixing things. { Male } xxxxxⅲ. The female would take a different rout. She will be enchanted by the prospect of the Harpies, and still ask for guidance from her mother. { Female } xxxxxⅳ. As she matures, I would love for her to make a friend in the Flock, one that ventures out on occasion. Someone that she can enjoy the company of and discuss the Flock with. { Female } xxxxxⅴ. Sa'adchand would then talk with her mother again about the Flock, and have a very detailed conversion on if she should join or not, depending on this role-play, she would join the Flock or stay with her family. { Female } xxxxxⅵ. Definite exploring and interacting with as many Soquili as possible; role-play is too much of an amazing thing to pass up. { Male/Female } xxxxxⅶ. I find it would be fun if there could be some fighting drama. With the male, he would defend the area around him as best as possible. The female would fight as well, though if she knew she would die, or would probably end up with scars, she would flee to safer ground or lead the other Soquili to an area where it would be outnumbered. { Male/Female } xxxxxⅷ. Using her odd way with words, Sa'adchand would find it easy to talk to people about anything and everything. She would be fantastic at helping Julius with his mortician work as well. { Female } xxxxxⅸ. It would be fun to have a role-play where someone makes Sa'adchand feel as "insignificant" as she feels toward stallions. This could lead to definite more plotting and the like. { Female }
Prompt Response: xxxxxღ For this entry, I'm picking prompt number six. I am going to do both a male and female version. xxxxxღ The reasoning behind doing two different entries is simple; the male and female characters are very different in my head. Their reactions and how the story plays out differs too much for me to just compose one story.
----- ღ Antikythera Monrey's Story ღ -----
xxxxxAt a young age, it was known that the foal would be one of great promise.
xxxxxAntikythera peered down at the small broken clock with wide eyes. His father had put it into his care to ensure that it was fixed; and even though he was still very knew at the concept, he had learned quickly on how to fix the clocks his father bore. Lowering his head, ears perking up, the colt tilted his head to the left, then the right. He examined the inner workings with joy and amazement. It was shocking how one clock could look so different from another. Like they were each their own personality, and stuff. He would fix it, and he would ensure that his father was extremely proud of him; or he would do it over and over until he father for sure was proud of him.
xxxxx“You should try tampering with the cogs.”
xxxxxThe small colt jumped at the words that were said not but a few feet away from him. Lifting his head, Antikythera looked back to his left. There stood his grandfather, Julius, staring at him with practically judgmental eyes. Startled by his sudden appearance, the colt looked down toward the clock to peer at it with a curious stare. If he could get it to work, than he would also impress his grandfather! Smiling some, he leaned down and picked up a little tool with his mouth, before poking and prodding at the cogs to try and shift them.
xxxxx“What do you think of ghosts, Antikythera? Of death and the afterlife?” Julius asked, watching the foal with a dark stare.
xxxxxAntikythera blinked, before lifting his eyes toward his grandfather. He was about to speak, when the older stallion commented that using a form of lubrication on the metal could mean that he would be able to work the cogs better, and get them to shift. Nodding his head, causing his mane to shift as he did, the colt maneuvered a bit to where he could pick up the small clay container that held the lubrication his father had brought him. He carefully put some on a leaf, before letting the lubricant drip down onto some of the cogs. Using his tool once more, he started to work it into the smaller areas.
xxxxxHe was getting too big for this.
xxxxxPursing his lips, he laid the tool down, before peering up at his grandfather with somewhat big eyes. “Well… I don’t know, grandfather. Ghosts seem like they would be sad… like they should be taken care of, ya know? And death is sad too… But maybe if someone made death easier for family members and friends, or if they could put the ghosts into a peaceful place, then they could not be ghosts any more…” Antikythera stated, looking thoughtful. "They could be happy spirits and go where they need to go instead of lingering.. But the afterlife has to exist, right? Everyone has to have some place to go, and not just in the dirt."
xxxxxShifting his head to the side, the colt peered toward his grandfather from the corner of his eye. He wasn’t sure what it was his grandfather was thinking about, but Antikythera knew not to just blindly question the man. He had been told, and experienced himself, not to just jump forward and act on impulse; not to be too outgoing or loud when his grandfather was around. The older stallion seemed to like the quiet and a lack of questions, and Antikythera respected that about him. He had been told that his grandfather liked his privacy, and the foal could understand why. He always seemed so busy... But maybe he could make his grandfather laugh or something soon!
xxxxx“Try pushing the cog the other way; you are going the wrong direction. Clockwise, remember?” Julius stated, eyes still locked on the young foal.
xxxxxOnce more distracted by the guidance, Antikythera looked down. He pouted toward the device for a split second, before quickly doing as was suggested. He pulled back the tool, before closing the face of the clock, and gave the small knob at the top a gentle turn with his teeth. It laid still for a moment, but soon after, the arms of the clock shifted, before it started to tick, and move with the steady rhythm of passing time. Ecstatic and proud, the foal looked up toward his grandfather, but the elder stallion was gone. He glanced around for a few minutes, before realizing that he probably left and wouldn’t be back for some time, as was Julius’ usual visitation schedule.
xxxxxAfter all, his grandfather was a very important man, and had a life of his own to live.
xxxxx---------
xxxxx“Antikythera, can you go and get me that screwdriver? The 7/8th’s flat-head one.”
xxxxx“Yes, Grandfather. I'll be there in a moment!”
xxxxxAntikythera blinked, looking away from the work he was currently doing to go and grab ahold of the tool his elder asked for. He’d been under his grandfather’s teachings for nearly a year now, and enjoyed every second of it. Though it was usually a serious business, the young stallion didn’t mind. He was learning every day, and every day that passed he was able to do something new. He smiled lightly at the memories that had passed recently that made his mind abuzz with different thoughts. Holding back a chuckle at a few, the stallion brought the tool to Julius, who then quickly went into an explanation of what he was doing, and how you would do so. He then showed Antikythera how to do it, so that the young stallion would have the actions memorized for later use.
xxxxxAnd he would continue to do his best for his grandfather. After all, Antikythera couldn’t help his love for learning, helping, or tinkering with everything he could get his hooves on.
----- ღ Sa’atchand Monrey's Story ღ -----
xxxxx“Sa’adchand, what are your though-“
xxxxx“Hang on, Grandfather. I’m thinking.”
xxxxxShe was growing irritated. Sa’adchand wasn’t sure why it was her grandfather thought now would be the best time to talk to her about who knows what. From what she understood, he had talked to her younger siblings as well. But this young filly was distracted. She had eavesdropped on a few Soquili this morning while they were eating their breakfast. During that time, she had heard the most interesting quote in her young life. She was repeating it over and over in her head, memorizing it in case she needed it later. Shaking out her head, she breathed out a sigh, before turning her eyes back toward her grandfather.
xxxxxThey had a short staring match, before he sighed slightly and shook his head at her. Julius didn’t seem pleased with her brash way of handling the situation; he had questions and she needed to answer them. Tinting with embarrassment, the filly scuffed her hoof against the ground, before breathing out air, her breath visible in the cool air. She murmured that he could ask her the question now, as she was done thinking and could answer without her mind on other things.
xxxxx“What are your thoughts of death, young one?” xxxxxWell, that was quick. Sa’adchand had never been able to use something that she had heard this quickly before. Blinking toward her grandfather, the little filly lifted her eyes toward the direction of the small group that she had overheard. They were gone by now, but the location of which they had been never changed. She shook out her small mane, before peering back toward her grandfather once more. It was an odd question, but she could answer it… she thought.
xxxxx“Death… death is like a picture of your life. When people die, it’s like from then on they are remembered from that moment past. They will never be known for what they could have done; what greatness they could have achieved.” She paused, gathering her thoughts for a second, before shrugging her shoulders. “I know I wouldn’t want to die without scars, if that’s the case. Even just mental or emotional ones. It proves that I have been through life at its fullest, and not just played it safe.”
xxxxxThe stallion stared down at the filly for several moments, before tilting his head slightly. “You have wisdom for someone of your age. What do you think about working on objects?”
xxxxx“Booooooring!” Sa’adchand stated firmly. She smiled at her grandfather though.
xxxxxMoving toward him, she gave him a light nuzzle to his shoulder before he could ask his next question. Julius was somewhat shocked by this, but didn’t do anything about it. The filly wiggled, before running off to go and play, leaving Julius to his thoughts. She spotted another group ahead of her, and quickly made her way there, in hopes of over hearing something that could come in handy in the future.
xxxxx----------
xxxxx"Mother, tell me more about the Flock? Please?"
xxxxxSa'adchand smiled toward her mother, giving her the best "begging" look that she could muster. Nakita let out a small sigh, a smile, and then started in on the stories that she had learned and seen for herself. The younger mare smiled, listening with perked ears and excited eyes. She loved this concept; loved it more than flying. And she couldn't help it. Tilting her head lightly to the side, she watched as her mother continued to talk and grow more and more attached to the story she told. Sa'adchand could tell her mother missed the Flock, but she couldn't do anything about it now, right? As someone once said, "Don't force your thoughts on others. Let them believe that they thought of it, and then they will be more likely to do it.". So, she would just beat around the bush, mention the Flock here or there, and how she would love to visit. Maybe one day her mother would take her.
xxxxxOh how she dreamed that would happen.
Anything else? xxxxxღ Good luck to the judges, and all the entrants. :3 The couple is lovely, and I cannot wait to see what comes of them! xxxxxღ If you would like Flock role-play, I have a male and female who would love to participate. Just swing me a PM and we can work something out! xxxxxღ Sorry for the length, I was truly inspired by this contest it seems. Haha. Thank you, once more, for the chance to join this family.

My Precioussssss! Name: Male: Vjeran Sat Monrey; Female: Lijepa Sat Monrey
Name Meaning: Male: Vjeran means loyal; Female: Lijepa means beautiful; both: Sat means hour (both Croation)
Temper: Male: Staunch; Female: Firey
Personality: They are very sure of themselves. Always trying to be the leader in a situation. They enjoy playing with their siblings and causing a bit of trouble, but nothing too terrible. They enjoy being right and make sure that they are always right... Even when they are wrong. They find the things that their father does to be downright amazing and want to take to fixing things as well. They enjoy learning and don't mind showing off the knowledge they have gained either. They want to meet all kinds of different Soquili. As many as they can. They are friendly and kind, but get on their bad side and you are in trouble. They are unforgiving when a wrong is committed against them. But have them as a friend and you have someone who is loyal to a fault.
Do you Like to RP?: Of course! : D I haven't been able to do it in Soquili itself yet though. So I would love the chance to finally RP here! Here is an RP I am doing in another shop: Here!
Plots: --1. They have a play date with their siblings! Getting into trouble and playing games is much too fun.
--2. They meet a different breed of Soquili. Having never seen one before, they are rather fascinated and take to them quickly.
--3. They learn how to fix something from it's father. Finding all of the inner workings of the thing amazing.
Other plots will certainly be thought of and worked out after the basket would pop and the personality is worked out a bit more.
Prompt Response: I am doing Prompt One ---------- Female: Lijepa was always fascinated by her mother's stories of the flock. She enjoyed listening to all of the things they believed in. Though she didn't understand some of them. Having males kept and believed to be slower was something she only lightly understood. She loved her father and viewed him as her own superior, but she wasn't sure if all males were like him. She would have to test the waters with more males... Different males. As long as they proved to be in need of help and protection, that was a tradition she could easily follow.
Lijepa had heard about all the different jobs that even the males had in the flock. The artistic side of things sounded pretty interesting to her. But so didn't being a huntress. Getting to explore would be a fun thing to do as well. She did enjoy exploring. Taking care of children might be fun as well. Or even watching males for other females might be interesting. A good chance to meet plenty of different Soquili, while still being in a safe place.
Lijepa knows that her mother is a beautiful Soquili, so she can only imagine how beautiful the other females in the flock must be as well. She wasn't sure if she could possibly be good enough for the flock... But maybe, just maybe, she would be. She would have to work on herself in order to be perfect.
Lijepa figured that she should travel a bit first though. She wanted to learn of the world before she made such a big decision as well. Learning about all the different cultures like she learns about the flock would be fun.
Yeah... That's exactly what she will do. Improve herself and learn about all she can before she makes any final decisions about joining the flock. If they would even let her in, that is.
Anything else? Thank you very much for the opportunity to join into the family :3 I would be very happy and excited to share in all of the RP fun! And sorry if the response isn't very long... Typing everything out on my phone is hard, lol! But thanks again for the opportunity to join in!

My Precioussssss! Name: Male - Reloj de Monrey. Female - Azul Monrey
Name Meaning: clock of the monrey. blue monrey
Temper: male- calm. female- breezy
Personality: he is like a clock, on time, never late for anything. Reloj is patient and loves helping those around him. He's persistent though, if you tell him to do something, he would, even if done incorrectly, but he does mess up the task with thought and perfection! He would peruse every detail on whateer he's doing, and has a grand memory, just like the back of a clock. He believes that time is always ticking, so you should live in the moment, but also not forget the ups and downs in life. Basically, he is a soquili-hippie. ovo
Do you Like to RP?: of course I do!<3
Plots:
Starting off the Tick Reloj would be a foal and realize that there is something 'ticking' inside him - his heart - that he kept on hearing inside of his basket but never knew what it was. He would wonder what this is and would try to get as much answers as he possibly can from his parents.
Building the Clock Over time, Reloj would grow confidence in himself, all through the 'ticks' inside of him. Unlike his immature nature as a foal, he would experience his first breakdown - seeing another suffer.
Breaking the Clock Reloj would over time, travel with his grandfather and enter the guild of becoming a taskmaster. He would learn to become delicate while building and breaking items, and would handle hem all with care. All that he does has no way of being wrong, for he can make his mistakes into a strange, new discovery.
Mending the Ticks Reloj meets a mare that he finds a strong companionship with, and the two would travel together.
Ripping the Heart Reloj would experience a heart break from the mare and the two would set different paths, where Reloj would try to seek out his mother's flock for her comfort.
Reviving the Heart Once Reloj reaches the flock, he would become a have a fling (maybe lifemated) with one of the members of the flock, where he shall stay near the borderlines and wander around time to time.
A New Web Reloj begins a family of his own!<3
Prompt Response: Prompt 6
The family was known for clocks, least Reloj's father's side of the family. His eyes bed as he saw Julius Monrey for the first time. A stallion that looked a bit like his father, just a bit older, maybe even a bit! Nose flaring in fear, his eyes stared in fear at the shiny things around his eyes. Glasses, he was told. Just like his father's, Cyrus Monrey. Even the look of his face made the foal quiver even more in fear. It was like he had just seen a skinwalker, only much more worse.
Who was this stallion that was talking to his father and that kept looking at him? Whoever it was must be important to be able to speak to his father. He knew how wise his father actually was in mechanics and technology, so maybe that was what this stranger was talking to him about. .... Adult stuff.. His suspicions arose as the stranger did in fact, stare at Reloj for more than what he was comfortable with. Something about him that he did not like was too, calling him to him.
Once hearing his father call his name forth, Reloj trotted to his father's side to snort at the stranger, only to receive a quick disapproval. The stranger however, ignored the rudeness and continued his stare. His mind was spinning like crazy when the stranger begun asking him questions such in death, tools, fixing, and something about a promise. Not knowing what to say, Reloj stood speechless, and listened as his father and the other stallion begun speaking about letting the foal become the stranger's apprentice.
Anything else? practically everything's answered as Reloj
