Everybody decorates them differently, how do you do yours?
My family does classy trees that are super sparkly and full of flowers and stuff.

We have a set amount of ornaments that we use every year, but every ornament we have is a memory. Each year we get one new one from a different family member or something that celebrates a special event that happened like birth of a child... or marriage... or whatever the case. They have been passed down for a very long time.
I can't wait for Christmas, but I always have problems getting gifts for people because I never want to guess and am never sure what my folks are into. It's not about the presents sure... but I am no scrooge either. I like seeing other people happy... It's a thing. I think gifts raise spirits especially things that people will use for a long time. I'm not sure if it's bad I am frustrated about gifts or not though. :l Seem to have misplaced my Christmas cheer. *looks under his bed*
For the record I like clear white lights and bright trees : D I am not very festive with the rainbow lights.

Normally we have lots and oh my god lots of ornaments. burning_eyes
But then half of us moved away and we found out we were horders eek So I said scream ENOUGH! Went though all our things throwing out holiday items we no long used but keep for "sentimental value"
ninja That's right I am evil for chucking the broken snowman and his piece of snow lint ninja
But must of our ornaments got ship to the family members that moved away so they didn't have to buy ornaments for their trees.
3nodding This year we stringed up the tree with extra lights and half way though putting ornaments on we agreed that we liked it better with just lights.

Long, long ago we used to have a tiny tree that had handmade ornaments my brother and I made in preschool or what, but now we've nixed the tree and hang the lights on our house and on the tree in our front yard.

It took all day, but I cleaned the front hall and the living room and we finally have a place do put a tree. I also did a little bit of decorating, setting up the Christmas mobiles and putting up the banister's garland.

What few ornaments I have are in storage but I managed to get an full-sized tree this year (fake of course) and I just stuck some green and black tulle on it, leftover from my Halloween costume. It looks pretty awesome.
