So, today I was at a baby's first birthday party and I was talking to her dad. He was telling me how in Calculus III you learn that there're these two ways that can solve any math problem there is, so that basically, everything you learn up to that point has no meaning.
I'm not actually going into Calc, but I just found this thoroughly depressing. gonk

Exactly! That's what I'm saying! We are simple minded folk...one way will do usI don't know! gonk I sorta...fell out of the conversation after a few minutes. But he said that he was still bitter about learning it. xd

Two ways, hm? That can't be too bad, unless the teachers make you do both for each question. Then it's a waste of time.
