Hobbies:

Art: Let's get one thing straight here. Desmond doesn't love art. He bleeds it. And he doesn't single out a specific type of media. Oh no. He uses it all. From crayons and chalk (yes he uses crayons. Everyone has their kiddie moments) to spray paint and charcoal. The same goes for what he paints on too! The man will seriously paint on anything.

Astrology: As long as Des could remember, he always liked looking up at the stars and making shapes out of the stars. Eventually he started taking interest in the actual shapes and began looking them up. He loves reading about the zodiacs (both Eastern and Western) and the stories and tales associated with all the constellations.

Knives and Daggers: Des secretly (or not so secretly depending on who you are to him) harbors a mighty need of sharp pointy things. Those things usually happen to be in the form of small daggers and throwing knives. He's not really sure how this came about but he enjoys it. Des considers them to be another form of art and will spend some time admiring the ones in his collection. It doesn't matter if it's super detailed or not.

Virtues:

Creative: Des loves coming up with new things. Especially when that involves art. Things people would normally take for granted, Des can find another use for it. He has a good eye for finding things, and knows what generally holds up or works better than other things. Lots of on the field practice have resulted in him having steadfast hands.

Laid Back: Des has an easy flowing nature and never seems to let things get to him. If he has something big planned down the road he tries not to dwell on it and freak him out. He is very much for living today. Des tends to life by: Yesterday is History, Tomorrow a Mystery, Today is a Gift, That's why it's called the Present.

Great Under Pressure: Because of his derping ways, despite what others might think, Desmond performs just find under the pressure of looming project deadlines or other things. Granted, he tends to forgo food and sleep during that time but he get's the work done.

Flaws:

Procrastination: Because of his laid back nature, Des tends to... do things at the last minute. A lot. It's a serious wonder how this guy manages to accomplish anything some times. While he does try to do something, unless the dead line is looming, it's very minor attempts. The only exception to this is if the task somehow peeks his interest.

Laid Back: It's not hard to get him motivated... It's more of he just doesn't sweat the small things. It could be something like... a Zombie Apocalypse and Des would just be like eh while everyone's running around screaming their heads off. Given the situation, his tendency to minimize the situation at hand can lead people to quicky get tired of Desmond's laid back attitude.

Secretive: There are just some things Des just doesn't want to talk about. You could be Des' best friend and he still wouldn't share something with you. He would rather keep things secret, then to tell people. Even if it was something serious like a health issue. This of course can lead people to get aggravated quickly.

ON THE CIVILIAN SIDE:

Right now, you have his "Collecting" hobby as a general one - does he collect anything besides sharp pointies? Or is it just knives/daggers/etc?

I'd also like some elaboration on "Laid Back" as a flaw and "Secretive!" How does him being laid back frustrate people? Is it hard to get him motivated? Is he That One Group Member that never does anything? For "Secretive," how big are the secrets he keeps? Is it just little stuff? Or would he keep like - an important health issue secret?

ON THE POWERED SIDE:

I think Fangite looks fine, and an SNK/AC mix has the potential to be really friggin' cool. All good here~
