Izzy Makani It's her front right (with the heart) that's injured. Per'roth had never been so glad as to see her home as when she laid eyes upon it now. While the serval had been ok company, the pain in her leg had detracted from the experience. Perhaps she aquired a couple odd looks from those passing by, either for her hopping along, or the smaller feline following her, also hopping. What a pair they made. Her eyes cast eagerly around for a familiar black and white pelt.
Not immediantly in sight she could have been anywhere in the pride. Per knew that if she kept walking hobbling around long enough, Mavi would hear about it and come to find her. Still her best guess would be at the race tracks. The lioness was a dedicated healer after all. "Not much longer now," she said to Zsaru as she lead the way toward the racing tracks.

Zsaru followed Per'roth through the gathered animals apprehensively; groups of lions and cheetahs were huddled together all around her, some definitely separated while others almost mingled. There was a wide array of colors and patterns decorating the pelts around her, and Zsaru felt the fur along her spine start to rise; she had never been around so many animals at once and almost everyone in line of sight was staring at them. She imagined how odd they must look limping along together. She may have found it hard to stifle a purr of amusement, if not for her nerves.
Zsaru was so focused on watching the animals around her for signs of hostility that Per'roth's comforting mew made her jump. As she realized who had spoken and her fur lay flat, she asked, "Who are we looking for? Maybe I could help you keep an eye out."

Mavi was going to prove very easy to find today. She was moving between the race tracks at the current moment and while the groups gathered could block ones view her's was not blocked when the odd pair passed by looking for her. She spotted Per's purple coat quickly and was immediately alarmed. She watched for a moment as Per limped by. Mavi could tell quickly something was wrong with her front right leg as she seemed to be favoring it.
After a moment Mavi was trotting in Per's direction and was able to catch up pretty easily. "Per! Are you ok?! You're limping!" Mavi exclaimed as she came up to her. She hadn't even noticed the little serval following Per yet.

Per somewhat doubted Zsaru would help her spot the lion in question. There were so many pelts, that it would be impossible for her to describe it enough for the serval to be of any help. Still she was willing to give her a chance. "Mostly black lioness, with white...."
She was interupted by a very welcomed voice. They wouldn't have to search the whole pride for her after all! The cheetahess stopped to wait. Per lifted her head until she spotted the owner of said voice. "Mavi! I am so glad to see you. Well my leg hurts, I need you to check it over." She made a face. "You know that track you wanted me to run for stamina?"
Per waved her tail at the serval, "I ran over her. She was laying in the middle of the track. Zsaru meet Mavi, my healer. Mavi meet Zsaru, my speed bump. Mavi you wouldn't mind looking at her too would you?" While she very much wanted Mavi to check her out right now, she knew the lioness was hers and Zsaru didn't have anyone. It wouldn't hurt her too much to wait until Zsaru had been seen to. Per also trusted Mavi's healer instincts wouldn't let her ignore the serval.

The voice and sound of approaching pawsteps made drew Zsaru's attention to a lioness.. As Per introduced Zsaru to Mavi, she raised her chin proudly even though her ears instinctively flattened against her head. With her leg still tucked tightly against her underside, she was . definitely vulnerable, but she was determined to trust these strangers anyways.
"I apologize for the intrusion, and greatly appreciate the hospitality. " She thought about attempting a bow, but settled with dipping her head. She really didn't need to add a facial injury to her hurt paw and battered body. While it did cause her pain, she didn't think her paw was terribly injured - probably just a minor twist; however, she was no healer, and she would still be grateful if Mavi could take the time to examine it. She waited patiently for Mavi's decision.

Mavi had her ears perked up so she heard everything Per said with ease. When Per asked if she remembered the track she told her about Mavi nodded. Of course she remembered the track it was one of the tracks she prefered the cheetah's use so they train in stamina and aren't exhausted by the end of races. That was one of the biggest peeves she had with the cheetahs because of how many cheetahs she treated for exhaustion after a race.
When Per waved her tail towards te dark serval Mavi's gaze finally landed on the little feline. She stared at her in surprise for a few moments and then finally she smiled at her. "Oh it's no problem at all. I try to help everyone I can." She replied pretty much talking to both Per and Zsaru as she lowered her body to the ground so she could be as Zsaru's level. "Per give me just a moment and I'll look at your leg." She said as she looked up at Per and then turned her gaze back to Zsaru. "Can you show me exactly where you are injured?"

"Minor scrapes and bruises aside, the real pain is my paw." Zsaru explained, and extended her forepaw gingerly. The muscles in her leg were a little cramped, and her paw started to throb as soon as she moved it. Wincing, she narrowed her eyes against the pain and stretched her leg further so the lioness could see it.
For the first time, she got a good look at her injury; her paw was swollen to nearly twice it's original size, and it even looked like it might be twisted a little. Maybe her injury was worse than she thought. The sight of it only made the pain worse and Zsaru instantly turned her gaze to Mavi's face instead, swallowing fear. The gentleness and care that Zsaru found in Mavi's face surprised her enough to forget the pain - but only for a second. This lioness knew nothing about her, other than that she had tripped and injured one of her pride members, and yet she seemed to genuinely care about Zsaru's welfare. Come to think about it, Per'roth had even seemed to be truly concerned, and she was the one that Zsaru had tripped!
Gazing around, she noticed other members of the pride still watching. While curiosity still sparked in their eyes, all of them seemed worried about the two injured felines. Zsaru was baffled and very touched. These creatures knew nothing of her, and yet they cared that she was in pain. Being a lone rogue for most of her life, this was an experience that Zsaru had only known from her mother. She found herself purring despite the throbbing pain in her paw, a purr which abruptly stopped once Mavi started the actual examination.Izzy Makani I don't want her injury to be overly awful; just a sprain and possibly a broken toe or something. Nothing that will affect her life forever, but enough to make her need to stay in the pride temporarily.

Per settled herself gingerly down to lay on her side while she waited. There was no sense in standing around on three legs. She heaved a sigh as she got down without too many bad bumps. This was so much easy with four legs. Not that she could blame Mavi for looking at the smaller feline first.
The racer barely noticed those watching the scene playing out before them. She was use to attention on her. Such was the life of a racer. Her paw and ankle ached, but didn't feel too bad. Maybe Mavi would say just a couple days of rest would do her. She watched as the lioness tended Zsaru, and grinned as she heard the serval purr. Mavi was just that good.

Mavi gave Zsaru a reassuring smile when she looked up at her. As zsaru held out her paw Mavi carefully looked it over trying to be as gentle as possible with the swollen paw. After a few moment she nodded and looked back up at Zsaru's face. "You've sprained your ankle. That is why your whole paw is swollen. You'll need to stay off it as much as possible but it shouldn't take long for it to heal. I would say a week or two and you'll be able to go on your way." She told her with a wink.
With Zsaru's paw checked out she now turned to Per. "Shall we take a look at yours and see what we've got?"Rennekae Sorry that took so long guys. ^^;

Trying to keep herself composed, Zsaru let out a small sigh of relief. Even though she had tried to remain brave, secretly she had been worried that she may have done some real damage. When you live alone, having a bum paw is a real challenge. The knowledge that it soon would heal lifted a heavy burden from Zsaru's chest.
Nodding her thanks, she turned to regard Per'roth, and worry sprang anew in her chest. She had taken a liking to the friendly cheetah, and now that she was aware how important running was for her, she hoped that her new acquaintance would be fine as well.

Izzy Makani Not a problem. It can just be a bad strain/sprain whatever. The cheetahess watched the proceedings with her eyes half closed. Focusing on all the possible pampering she was going to be getting; not just from Mavi, but the healer's cubs too. Per blinked her eyes wider as the verdict was pronounced.
"You can stay at my place while you heal." She had after all run over the poor serval.
"Most certainly," Per drawled with a lazy blink at Mavi. The female laid back and held up the offending paw.

Zsaru blinked gratefully at her new roommate, her thoughts whirling with worry. Per'roth seemed more than willing to accommodate her; but what would the rest of the pride think?
If she was required to stay off of her paw, she could only imagine that she wouldn't be hunting, which meant someone would need to hunt for her and bring her the prey. Per'roth would more than likely be content to do so, but Zsaru was almost certain that Per's injury would be treated the same as her own - by staying off of it and getting lots of rest.
Zsaru was starting to feel nervous, almost sick to her stomach with anxiety. This was the first time since she had learned to hunt that she wasn't able to take care of herself. As if that wasn't stressful enough, she was in the middle of a rather large group of rather large felines that may not appreciate another mouth to feed - especially since the owner of said mouth would be unable to return the favor.
She flattened her ears and sat back quietly as Mavi checked out Per'roth, trying to remain calm while the anxiety rose like bile in her throat, threatening to choke her.

Mavi was just as careful examining Per as she had been with Zsaru. It didn't take much for her to find the problem and set out a plan for healing. "Well Per looks like you have a sprained ankle too." She stated with one last glance before she nodded in final resolution. "A week or two off your feet is what I recommend." With a smile to er she glanced over to Zsaru and was surprised to see a subtle amount of worry on the little servals face.
"There's no need to be worried Zsaru. You're in good company. My cubs love playing nurse maid to the sick and wounded. They'll be in and out of Per's den trying to take care of both of you especially Nina. She loves Per." Mavi said with a smile and wink to Per. It was way too obvious that Nina loved Per. Per was all Nina ever talked about. She was definitely Per's number one fan.Rennekae Behind once again. Sorry guys. I think with one more post from each of us we can probably wrap this up. I would love an rp with Zsaru and Nina. Also Magna I want an rp with Per so she can finally meet Mavi's new love. ^.^

Zsaru was slightly startled when Mavi first spoke to her. Jumping slightly, she turned her attention to the lioness and listened nervously as she tried to reassure her.
When Mavi had finished, Zsaru actually did find herself a little calmer, and allowed a small purr to escape her at the thought of a litter of cubs falling over themselves in an attempt to take care of them. The only downside would be the constant nap interruptions, but Zsaru was sure she'd soon adjust.
"I cannot begin to express my appreciation to the two of you for all you've done."
Zsaru smiled gratefully at both in turn, then turned her attention to Per, awaiting the cheetah's lead to the den.Izzy Makani An rp with Zsaru and Nina would be great! You can start it whenever you're ready. C:

She was relieved at the verdict for her injury. Something that healed quickly and easily. Only by doing something really, really stupid at this point would she never race again. Per gave a smug purr at the mention of her favorite cub. With Nina there wasn't a chance of that happening.
"Well we'd better get started eh? No time like the present." The cheetahess rolled to her feet carefully. She looked with surprise at the serval as she overheard Mavi. A soft laugh escaped her throat, "nah not to worry. If you really insist on helping out a bit once your better, you could hold serveral races. Or race against cubs." Per offered diffidently.
"However we can talk about it after we're snuggled comfortably in my den with Mavi's adorable cubs looking after us." She grinned with a wink and started limping toward her mentioned den.
