It had been nearly a week, since her battle with Benitiote and Maia felt she was healed sufficiently thanks to Xander's patch up. The ache from the the spears cut was gone and her bruising had nearly disappeared. She was out again, mostly thinking as she wandered the park, her usual patrol spot. She had a lot going on at the moment. Top of the list being making sure her brother received proper training now that she had found out he was a knight, even more so making sure he didn't suffer so many the same set backs she did. Oh she knew everyone had to make the same mistakes, but she wanted to avoid, arrows through the gut as one of those.
She wanted that for all new senshi and knights. She felt she had a duty to them and it was one of the reason's she had been so determined to return to the city even though her parents wanted her in England held prisoner with them. Everyday someone else was thrown into this war without a clue. With there numbers increasing Maia felt that shouldn't be the case. So here it was now that she wandered not really looking for youma, knowing it was likely they would find her anyway and hoping to run into a new face, preferably one from her own side. She did not think she wanted to go toe to toe with another Negaverser just yet.
She yawned slightly looking up to the sky and smiling. The night had been uncharacteristically peaceful.

It was peaceful for Pandora as well, who was frustrated with the uneventful quiesce.
Something needed to happen. By all rights, the youma should be snarling on her heels. A single source of chaotic energy needed to tickle the edge of her mind. Pandora needed an excuse - a small tiny flicker of one. There were so many reasons to be fighting.
Mostly, she just needed an outlet.
All she found was a strong, peaceful pull. There was a sensation of energy, strong, which grew more powerful by the minute. It had been unpinpointable at first, but now Pandora could recognize it, give it form. It was just across from her, in the very same park.
It was good to fight in groups, to team up, to build trust. Pandora took a deep breath and headed across the grass to meet the stranger.
"Hey," she called as she was getting close, waving a hand to make her presence obvious. "Are you patrolling, too?"

Maia didn't feel the energy at first, but when she did she could tell the person was heading for her. She content to wait for however it was to make there way to her. No need to add possible confusion by searching for a moving target.
She gave a smile and wave as the girl came into view, taking in the green and white fuku and smiling. The girl was rather lucky, she had a much warmer fuku that most, warmer even that Maia's.
"Yes," she responded, "I like to patrol the park and the schools, although I move around a lot. Tonight seems like a quiet night though. Not much going on. I'm not entirely surprised as tomorrow is Monday. Still even the youma are quiet."
She walked toward the girl with a smile on her face. It didn't matter that the world was quiet tonight. It seemed she was lucky in meeting a new face. "I'm Maia, Eternal Senshi of Song. Who might you be?"

The way the Senshi talked, Pandora got the feeling she had a great deal more experience than she did in all aspects of Order.
The less experienced Senshi gave a wide smile, and shrugged the uncertainty off her shoulders. A glance, around them, as Maia mentioned the park and the quiet. Pandora swallowed the lump in her throat until it sunk in her gut. The peace was disappointing at best, but it made her realize how tired she was behind strong, determined green eyes.
"I'm Pandora," the redhead answered as she was approached. She extended her hand in greeting, since they were close enough for such pleasantries. Pandora bit her lip, thinking about the awkwardness of listing her full title. "Jealousy is my sphere. I'm just starting out."
Pandora might as well have said I still don't know anything.
There were a hundred questions on her tongue, which all led to one, Big one that was never appropriate to ask when you first met someone. So Pandora started small, unable to resist the opportunity. "What is a youma? Where does something like that come from?"

Maia shook Pandora's hand and gave a small grin, "Pandora of Jealousy, huh? Very fitting," she said with a small giggle. "Just started out," she echo once more," how long have you been doing this for then?"
Maia, of course knew she wasn't super or eternal, but it didn't really matter to her. A senshi was a senshi and they all had there strengths. She hadn't been expecting the youma question that came out of the girl mouth and hesitated for a moment at it. She wasn't sure what to say. If she should give the hard truth, one she had learned from Benitiote, something she probably shouldn't even know, or just a basic explanation.
She didn't like to be left out of the circle on things, but she didn't think Beni's explanation was one she should give. She opted for popping her phone into existence, pressing a few buttons and turning it the girl.
"Kallichore, sent this to everyone's phones. Your's included. It is someone of a basic guide with simple explanations. A youma is essentially a chaos creature that comes out a night and destroy things. I don't think anyone is entirely their purpose, but we need to destroy them because they are dangerous and can really hurt someone."
She pulled the phone away, turned it to Pandora and scanned the girl, "Now I've got your senshi number. You should read the little guide. Kalli did a wonderful job! It's really great, but in the mean time, anything else you want to know."

Pandora hated to say it, didn't want to say it, but she wasn't sure how much she trusted a cell phone or the information of an unknown person she had never met. Which, wasn't really like her at all. She constantly put faith in her professor's, in her elders, and tended to give others the benefit of the doubt. When she was powered up, so much was left to doubt.
Still, she diligently peered down at the cell phone. Sure enough, like a badly scripted computer, there was a small informational database. A chaos creature. What did that mean. Were they simply formed of chaos, did chaos invent them, did no one know? Pandora stared at the phone; it did not give her an answer.
Maia seemed so happy.
"I'll read it."
Anything else she wanted to know? Thousands of things. Did youma feel? Where did they go when they died? What happens if you don't kill them? But after 'they are dangerous and can really hurt someone' Pandora had a funny feeling she was going to get answers meant for a child, or for someone who didn't understand.
And maybe she just didn't. It was okay to be the person that didn't understand.
"What do you do on nights like this?" she eventually decided, uncrossing one arm and gesturing to the near solitude. "No youma. No chaos."

Maia was willing to tell all truth be told, but youma weren't exactly a comfortable subject after what Benitiote told her. She still didn't know whether to believe him or not about youma's once being human. She had to destroy them because they run a muck. It was just a lot to think about.
Maia nodded when Pandora said she would read the information. "It's just the basics really. I can give you the senshi low down some time, if you like. It's just a telling of things that have happened in this war for three years, from my point of view, but it helps. It's a little long though." She gave a weak smile.
Maia weak smile turned into a grin when Pandora asked about what to do on a quiet night. That she could most certainly help with right then and there.
"On nights like this. I like to train. Find someone to spar with. Learning how to fight is so much easier when someone's not trying to end you. Well obviously. Sorry if I ramble a bit."
She continued to grin, "we can spar if you'd like."

"It's okay," Pandora offered Maia the best grin she had in her. "I'm just distracted." If that wasn't the truth, then nothing was.
The Eternal senshi had Pandora's gaze as she talked about spars. There was a soft laugh at 'well, obviously' and the redhead was nodding. With the amount of power she could feel emanating from Maia's body, Pandora had a feeling she was asking for a few bruises.
"I could use a good spar," she agreed with a broad smile.
Pandora imagined she had a lot to learn from an Eternal Senshi. "Ground rules?"

Maia made a thoughtful face at the ground rules question, not really knowing what to say. She decided to take Chaonis' approach. She was stronger than the girl if only because of rank and she wasn't sure it would do much good to have a lot of holding back.
"Lets see," she started hands on her hips, "I'm going to say I won't use my attacks, but you can if you like. My attack is a bit unfair for sparing if it hits you. Other than that I'd say do what you have to to win, within reason. We aren't trying to really hurt each other, but I don't expect to walk away from this skipping."
She gave an amused smile and waved her hand in front of her, "you start," she said giving a small bow. She wanted to see what the girl would do and didn't think it would be very nice to start the spar by attempting to knock the girl off her feet, which she would attempt at some point in the fight.

Pandora nodded, taking in the brief, small set of rules her senior was emplacing for them. The new Senshi had yet to use her powers in an actual fight; perhaps it was time to start opening her mouth to use them. It just didn't occur to her -- she wasn't used to shouting strange phrases at the top of her lungs.
"What counts as a win?"
Bringing your opponent to a knee? Knocking them out (she hoped not!)?
There was a shrug, that moved through most of her body. Pandora would find out. Finding Maia bowed, she did the same.
The redhead took a deep, strong breath and calmed. She shook out her muscles a bit, briefly thinking over her options. And then, without a second thought, she lunged for Maia's thighs, like a football player might tackle.

Maia could help the quizzical look that passed over her face at the girls actions, for a second she felt like she should be in yoga class. Her expression change to one of slight surprise as Pandora decided the best course of action would be to tackle her.
Maia leapt to the side at the last minute, before Pandora could get close enough to grab her. She moved quickly to get behind the girl and give her good shove, hoping to unbalance her and send her sprawling to the ground. It was possible it wouldn't work as Maia had no idea how good the girl's balance or reflexes were but, she tired anyway.
"I'd say, the first down 4 times loses," she said quickly not letting her attention stray from Pandora. "Sound fair to you."

It was a good tactic. Pandora took quite a few faster steps, having been pushed onto her toes and forced to run faster.
When she turned to hear Maia's voice, there was a significant amount of distance between them. "Yeah," Pandora agreed. It sounded like a lot. The redhead wasn't sure how she was going to knock Maia off balance four times. The shove she'd felt made it clear enough her opponent was immensely stronger.
"Four times." Pandora started walking forwards to close the distance between them again.
She couldn't use brute strength, and brute strength was her usual tactic. What tips had her self defense teacher given her? Defend her head, don't aim for the main body on big men. Stay close, so any attacks have little momentum.
Pandora swung an open-handed blow at the side of Maia's face instead. Maybe getting her ears ringing would make it easier to knock her opponent off her feet.Kaori_luv (( I suppose I should add you have my permission to knock her flat on her arse. ))

Maia was impressed by Pandora's balance and decided it would be a good spar between them, as she hadn't been able send her face first into the ground with the push. She had hoped, but was not at all upset about the turn of events.
She watched as Pandora approached her, making note of the fact that she was walking. It would have served her better to run, keep up momentum, but Maia wasn't backing away, so it was currently a point not worth mentioning.
She wasn't sure what Pandora was going to do, but obviously, she had to try someone, they were afterall fighting. She did not however expect to be slapped, being a tad to slow to keep the wrist she grabbed hold of from connecting with her cheek. She winced at the stinging sensation that blossomed on her cheek.
Her grip on the wrist tightened slightly before she shook her head slightly and swung out her leg to take out Pandora's knees. She was certain Pandora couldn't avoid it with Maia holding her and would be knocked to the ground as Maia released her wrist.Kaelyndra Feel free to pull Maia down too <3

While Pandora had excellent core strength and wonderful balance, even she couldn't out-balance a tight hold on her wrist and a strong blow to the back of her knees.
Forwards she went, wrist releasing as she went down on her knees. The Senshi thought fast and rolled out of it, avoiding the worst of the sudden scrapes against her white jeans. When she took those heavy falls, she thanked whoever had the sense to give her a thick, tough uniform.
The Senshi wasn't inclined to give up quickly, and she was back on her feet again, already on the offensive. Maia was stronger than her and faster than her. It was hard to plan.
So Pandora had to set her up. Another feigned attack for the face. Only, instead of having her wrist grabbed, she aimed to snatched Maia's instead, bringing the arm around with her step. "Down," she commanded, using the slight discomfort and pain of a contorted wrist to her advantage.Kaori_luv (( We can give Pandy one or two to make her feel better about herself, but with Maia as an eternal, Pandy is pretty much effed. She should probably take some martial arts classes if she wants to take on people tougher than her! ))

Maia smirked at bringing Pandora to her knees, she wished it hadn't been slapped in order for it to happen, but she liked that the spar had gotten off to a good start. Pandora recovered quickly and Maia found herself seemingly about to be slapped again. This time she went to slap the girls hand away only to have her own wrist grabbed and twisted around the back of her.
Pain flared up to her shoulder and knees buckled slightly, but at the command to go down Maia's eyes went wide. Her temper flared slightly and she forced herself to remember that it was just a spar. Frankly if it was a negaverser trying to command her like Pandora just had, Maia's free arm would be trying to rip there hair out.
That however wasn't the case, so down Maia went, hoping to make Pandora think she had the advantage before she leaned forward and rocked back hard, aiming to smack the back of her hard skull into Pandora stomach. She hoped the blow would be enough to make the girl release her so that she could spin around and pull her legs out from underneath her.
