This is the total Region of Darkness. When Asurath first rose to power he began in the valley of shadows, they spread outward in all directions taking over the lands as he went. He now holds a total of 55% of the Land of Gaia. Many of our heroes coming here may recognise their home towns here, and even the people they once knew, now corrupted.

Zorin could feel the evil as the approached the land of darkness. He cointinued to fly forward though and watched slowly as the light faded as they entered the gray zone and headed toward the region of darkness. Tyrin felt the feeling also and shivered as he looked forward. The color seemed to start to fade away around thim and he did the mistake of looking down and seeing the numberous bodies littering the ground. He quickly looked back up and focused forward at the wall of darkness ahead. Soon they would be surrounded by the darkness. His insticts made him want to turn around, but he trusted the princess and knew he would be safe.

Albertus felt the familiar darkness and evil. The bodies covering the gray zone's floor. They were heading towards the region of darkness, and as well as he knew it, he knew it would be better if they moved fast and silently.
When Hild saw all those bodies, lying down on the gray zone's floor, he stopped singing. It saddened him , seing all those lives laid to waste. Where were they going? He saw the darkness ahead and it scared him, but he remembered the samurai, right behind them, he was a dark being, but was still good. And then he looked at Tyrin by his side, he showed no fear. Things were going to be alright.

Tyrin may not of looked it, but he did feel fear. The fear that he would have to meet his loved ones in battle. From what he had heard Asurath loved to send one's loved ones he had corrupted into battle with them. Asurath loved the pain and sadness of the ones who had to fight and sometimes kill those they loved. But he had to stay strong. With his new friends he would be ok...so he hoped. Zorin growled as they were only seconds from the darkness. "Brace yourselves, the blessing will keep you safe, but the darkness will try to consume you, face it, and let it know you are the one in charge of your own mind, have no doubts, leave it nothing to feed on" he said before suddenly flying into the darkness. Tyrin braced himself as though they were going to hit a wall. And Zorin was right. Suddenly the darkness seemed to try and envolp him, but het the light in him resisted and pushed it away. It was as if it was trying to probe his mind and find a way to get inside. Tyrin kept his mind strong and positive thinking of Eva and the light and all he was fighting for. Suddenly he felt warmer and the darkness seemed to withdraw. Zorin faced the same thing and was quick to shield his mind and push it away with Eva's blessing. He had done this enough times to be ready, he was just worried for the others.

Albertus crossed the darkness like it was nothing. It was a part of him, so it couldn'd hurt or take his mind. But he was worried about the others. Zorin seemed to have done it many times, but not the others, and he knew the effect that the darkness could have in people's minds. Away from the light Albertus felt more powerful, after all, he belongs here, don't he? And then he remembered Irisis, no this wasn't his place anymore, and smiled.
Hild listened to Zorin's advice, closed his eyes and thought of all the good things he had seen, of all the happy songs he knew, of the the great tale that he would tell. Darkness tried to engulf him, but Eva's blessing shone strong, pushing it away, and his mind was so light, bright and happy that no evil could touch it.

Once they continued further the darkness seemed to give up and stop attacking, the light causing it enough pain it decided to give up. Yet while the darkness itself may of given up, the minions it posessed would not. "Is everyone ok up there?" Zorin asked refering to those on his back. Tyrin nodded then realized Zorin couldn't see him. "Yes, you were right it worked, it has stopped trying to attack me" he said. Zorin just grunted. "That is the least you will have to worry about now, it won't be long until we encounter the corrupted."It was now Tyrin looked down and what he saw was just as bad if not worse than that in the grey zone. Zorin was right, he already saw some of the corrupted on the ground walking around almost zombie like, yet with purpose as if they had some sort of duty. He could barely make out their features, but what he was able to see immediately made him look back up. They were dark, yet vine like veins bulged from their bodies as the darkness worked its way through and enveloped them. It was like something out of a horror story. The ground also seemed covered in these vine like structures which gave it its own dead look. Any tree still standing was black as death, corrupted itself. And just everything was so dark, yet he had to keep positive even if everything seemed so gloomy.

"Yes, I'm alright. Thanks for your advice." Said Hild. He looked down and saw that dark forest with it's vines that seemed veins. The whole forest seemed a being itself, a huge dark being, with her wicked sons all over her. It wasn't something that he wanted to happen all over the world.
Albertus recognized the dark forest, they would soon encounter the corrupted. He flew to Zorin's side and whispered: "We better be careful, let's catch them by surprise, so we'll have the advantage. I'll do something about it" His eyes flashed black, his darkness pumping inside him. A dark mist appeared around them, as dark as the clouds in the sky of the forest they were in. They could see everything outside the deep dark mist, but anyone looking at them would only see a cloud as dark as the sky.

Yet his warning was a bit late as suddenly a muffled scream could be heard from Tyrin as he was literaly taken right off Zorin by a dark figure. He seemed to disappear into the darkness, yet suddenly a large silver fire flew up out of nowhere in the distance and a high pitched inhuman scream could be heard echoing through the darkness. Suddenly a bright silver fox could be seen running to them from the ground below out from the darkness. It was just then that the figures decided to make themselves known. Almost hundreds of dark harpies flew at them screatching as if angry at their fallen companion who had obviously been the one to alert them. Zorin knew outflying them at this rate in the darkness wouldn't be the easiest and knew they would have to fight. Suddenly a torent of fire and lava spewed from his mouth immediately disentigrating many of the harpies. "Don't worry about Tyrin he can handle himself, we need to get rid of them!" he stated. "Hold on Hild!"

Oh no, Hild thought. They were already discovered. After Zorin's warning he crouched and held strongly at the spikes on his back. Do not fall, do not fall, do not fall... were the only thoughts on his head.
Albertus laughed. Harpies? They were being underestimated. Albertus draw his swords from it's sheats and pointed them at the enemies, suddenly many blades were flying around him. At his command these blades took down many harpies. That was really fun, he thought. As he got distracted one harpy attacked him, but it caught nothing. Albertus appeared behind it, cutting it in two. Those who saw it could only see a shadow moving fast in the air and harpies screaming in pain.

Suddenly a black blur comes from nowhere and knocks the harpies away making them retreat. He turned and faced the ones that were now in front of him. " Freind or foe?" he simply asks.

"Present yourself before asking others, it's an important part of good education." Albertus said grinning. "And another thing, you ruined my moment of fun". The stranger had the same dark aura that Volt had. He looked at the harpies, more of them were coming, it wasn't a retreat, they were just gathering forces. "Ok, the fun isn't over yet." Albertus liberated a part of the cursed blood in his right arm, it became a shadow in the shape of a scythe, ripping apart a group of harpies that were coming closer.

Random spurts of silver fire erupted from the ground as the kitsune was having his own fun below. It wasn't just harpies now, but undead that were rising that he had to fight himself. But his fire seemed to sweep the ground and erupt around them burning like no other fire and literaly sapping the energy from their bodies. Suddenly he found himself surrounded by them, they were never ending. Suddenly his fire erupted from around him and shot out in all directions in a form of a giant wave engulfing them whole. When the fire cleared nothing could be seen of them. Yet they started to come again non ending like the earth was just spitting them out. He frowned and realized he needed to get out.
Zorin frowned at the stranger but noticed Tyrin. He seemed like he was holding his own, but noticed the neverending flow of the undead coming at him along with the occasional harpy. It seemed as though for every one he killed three more replaced it. He had no time to worry about the stranger now and quickly flew down to Tyrin. Tyrin was quick and before Zorin was even to the ground Tyrin jumped into the air, then jumped again off an undead's head and launched himself with the help of the fire onto Zorin.

Once the Kitsune was same he summoned black lighning bolts to strike to undead from below he was careful not to hit the Kitsune or the other dragon. Once he was done he faced them once agian " i shall ask agian friend or foe" he sounded serious and we wanted an answer

Everything in Hild's mind was screaming: hold on, hold on, hold on, DON'T FALL!
"We're fighting the undead, so you have your aswer if you're fighting them too. Now, it's I who ask, who are you?" Albertus said, seriously this time. Killing the harpies with his shadow scythe.
