Roll a Seven: Forest Field: Thick trees, some small while others greatly exceed double your own height, sprout at random places throughout the field. Giant roots provide easy excuses for pokemon to trip if they do not watch where they are going. Spacing between the trunks vary, making passage difficult for those on the ground and in the air. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to BUG and GRASS type attacks. This field also reduces damage from FLYING type attacks by 25 HP.

Shina entered the stadium, taking her place in her trainer box. Lenore was back again to try her luck for the third time. Shina knew she had a tough battle ahead of her. Lenore had been training hard, and was stronger than ever. Shina wasn't about to give up though, she would do her best to defend her badge.

Lenore entered the stadium with her chosen pokemon at her side. Jin-Gitaxias and Mephistopheles continued their discussion of how best to proceed, with Elesh Norn listening silently.

The three pokemon finished their discussion, and Mephistopheles floated down to the forest below. He quietly went over the weak points Jin-Gitaxias had pointed out to him earlier. They hadn't been losing for nothing - every battle allowed for greater insight into their opponents. Insight Jin-Gitaxias could use to formulate more effective plans.
Time to initiate the first phase, then.
The duskull's eye began to glow, and psychic power shredded the trees closest to him, whipping the wood into a hurricane.

Shina pulled one of the pokeballs from her belt and threw it into the arena. Annabell appeared, ready and eager to go. She hissed as splinters flew at her before she had a chance to launch her own attack.
"Annabell! Whirlpool!" Shina called. She had no intention of letting this battle devolve into endless switching shenanigans like last time.
Annabell sent energy into the arena, and a swirling vortex developed.

Water rushed around them, splashing onto Mephistopheles. The duskull gave a momentary glance at the wall of water surrounding them before bowing. Looking back up at the furret, he sent a branch flying towards her.

Lenore looked on blankly. "Well, I figure he's got things under control. You guys want to play Go Fish?" The gastly and darkrai nodded as a deck of cards materialized before them.
