Intro

Gensokyo is a magical place...
But it's all nothing but a silly dream. Many of the famous characters we grown to love all will learn about the truth.
Gensokyo never existed. They have to return to school at one point and so they will...
However, among the halls a popular card game has started to blossom. The Spellcard Duels. The only thing that keeps them linked somehow to the false world.
Gensokyo is nothing but a stupid child's dream.
Players assemble a deck from various cards and aim to lower the opponent's health while using defensive spells and support spells to keep the game going long. The rules are just like in that land.
Stop chasing the land that is make believe! Gensokyo is not real!

The cards have a connection. Only by playing it will the residents of this world find the truth.
Reimu Hakurei...
You are the only one who can find Gensokyo.
Look to the cards...

The time and place is a high school with a campus built in. The students are free to use the facilities nearly anytime before they have to return to their rooms.
-------------------------------------------------------------

"Look over there. It's Nahumar." Some girls said to themselves in secret as a tall boy about seventeen walked down the halls. A coat over his shoulders and a box of cards on his hip. He was considered the Delinquent and a bad person based on his appearance alone. He was always misjudged even now.
He sat in the cafeteria after school to look over his cards.
"What does it mean?" he whispered as he looked at his cards. They looked familiar to him but he still could not understand why he has them in the first place. Turning the gears, he came up with nothing and banged his fist on the table.
"It's all so confusing! What are these cards for?" He was the only one in the area at the moment. If someone else saw him like this, it could ruin his persona.

OOC: So what is this like? Digimon 3: Digimon Tamers?

In Character:

Have you ever had one of those times when you are certain something is out of place? But everything looks normal to Rekinna. What is out of place, why does this feeling keep on coming up, where am I suppose to go, what am I suppose to do? Rekinna held the cards in her hands, thinking. The frustration was unbearable, why are there so many unanswered questions?! Rekinna sat on the roof of the school building (This Place razz ) The door to the stairs opened slowly and Leena stepped out. She casually walked over to Rekinna, stood beside her and said. "Are you confused about the cards? Guess that makes tw-..." Leena saw Maria come up and out of the stairs and grinned, "No, wait, three of us then." Maria trod over to Leena and looked up into the sky. "I got perfect on almost all my tests and have perfect memory plus an IQ of 178... Yet I can't figure out this simple question. Now I see that I am not alone." Maria Memory looked at Leena and Rekinna, an excited and curious, but at the same time, cold stare. She opened her mouth and repeated exactly what Nahumar said like a tape recorder. " 'What does it all mean? It's all so confusing! What are these cards for?' is what she said back at the cafeteria. I think there are more people out there who has made contact with the cards than what we thought before. This is going to be very interesting" The trio looked at each other. Then understood that they needed to go talk to Nahumar in order to get closer to the answer, or at least get one more person to help them find the answer. So the three traveled down the stairs and got to Nahumar. Rekinna took a step forward and tapped Nahumar on the shoulder, showing three cards: Armament Sign - Sturm von 1944, Armament Sign - Kalashnikov's Comrades, Armament Sign - One Man Cannon. "We are in a similar situation as you. Let's solve this puzzle the easy way, together" , Maria said in a slow, icy and diplomatic sounding voice.

That single tap did get his attention, but as he turned he hid his cards away.
"What puzzle? I don't play those stupid card games." It seems like he was trying to act tough when it is not needed at all. It was clear he had a deck of his own cards. The one that was clear as day on the table was 'Frightful Sign [Incubo Spark]' with an image of a giant beam of purple, black and blue colors. It seemed like any other trading card.
"Now beat it." He said without any emotion. Trying to keep those away from himself.

"Where did he go?" Sorina. Many claim her to rank high on the beauty chart with other girls. She was in no way popular though. It could be because of the life long relation with Nahumar or she was just not talkative much. She was carrying her own deck of cards close at hand to look for Nahumar about it. Sadly, she has yet to see him at all.

((Entering now with Lumine (Lucy) and Reimu, and will introduce Yuuka a bit later on))

"..."

Lucy, a petite girl with platinum blonde hair and icy-blue eyes walked nervously down the school's main hallway. Having just transferred to the school barely a week ago, she still hadn't made any friends, aside from one young lady with black hair, whom she was now in search of. Something strange had happened recently, very recently, and in truth, her only friend was the only one she trusted enough to speak with about the matter. For in her schoolbag laid a deck of strange cards, all slightly aglow with some kind of...power. It didn't make any sense to the young girl, and she couldn't just go asking around about it...people would think she was crazy!

Not really paying attention to where she was going, Lucy bumped into the wayward Sorina, dropping her schoolbag in the process. "Ah! I'm really sorry, Miss!" She quickly knelt down to collect her things, too nervous to meet eyes with the beautiful girl she had collided with.

Cards. Simple design, simple idea...yet they hold so much potential. Cards have held mankind's fascination throughout history and have been given a number of uses, ranging from spiritual uses to simple gambling and parlor tricks. None of it had interested the Hakurei child... that is, not until today. Earlier, a strange deck of cards had presented itself to the Hakurei child, appearing seemingly out of nowhere. It was an unnatural occurrence, without doubt, and one worth investigating. However, investigations must be done discreetly. There was no need to cause any undue concern on the campus, and no need to spread rumors of strange cards appearing out of nowhere. There's already enough strange people around here to make up for that.

Yet somehow... the cards couldn't leave Reimu's mind. Even tucked away in the safety of her backpack, she could feel the cards hum as if alive, resonating to the beat of her heart. It was unnerving, but also...calming.

Before she knew it, Reimu's mindless wandering had wound her up somewhere on the far side of the school. During this period, not many students were out and about here. "Perhaps...I should turn back..."

OOC: so who is gonna activate one of the cards first? Actually, how does this work, do they just hold the cards up and shout out the name or something? Or is this Digimon Tamers? Or Yu-Gi-Oh?

IC:

"Such a reaction is to be expected from you. But you and I both know that there is more than meets the eye, these cards hum with life... If you happen to change your mind about these 'card games', meet us on the roof at mid-night." Maria signaled for Leena and Rekinna to follow her. Then she slowly walked away to the door of the cafeteria. As they entered the hallway, Leena and Rekinna broke off to look for more people who has made contact. Maria kept going and entered the school library. The books were dusty since no one has ever used the library since they got a computer lab. But Maria was sure that if she looked on the internet, she would only find Yu-Gi-Oh plot lines and such. This was one of Maria's favorite places in the school, it is filled with memories of just about everything. All of it recorded in old, leather spine books. Maria went to the section for magic and ancient myths and found numerous mentions of paper with powers bound to them. Meanwhile, Leena and Rekinna found a girl on the floor picking up books, who seem to have bumped into Sorina. Rekinna run over to them and told them, Showing a card with a StG-44 on it. "If you have made contact with those cards, meet us at the roof of the school mid-night."

((They work just like a traditional spellcard battle, however for the sake of 'future' they obtain a small counter of health over their heads to indicate their points. First to zero looses and the opponent is given the choice to take a card from the looser which can be changed to fit their card style. Once a match is over, the two are safely lowered back to where they once stood before engaging.
So it's a slight modified spell card duel with the addition of life points and the pressure to take the cards of the opponent :3))

Sorina not only did not see the girl before the collision, but a few of her cards scattered around. She quickly tried to pick them up without someone seeing them.
"I-it's fine. I was the one that was not looking at all." Her cards were assembled once more hastily and without making them neat. Then, Sorina felt something from her bag. The same sensation as her cards. She decided if she could not find Nahumar at the moment, she could talk to someone else.
"Excuse me but...you wouldn't happen to have one of these kind of cards in your possession?" Sorina pulled out a weak spell from her deck. Lazers with tear drop bullets displayed a visual image of the attack. It was the only chance she would get at knowing any information.
"If I can feel her cards, then that means I can feel if anyone else has the same cards as well. I can find Nahumar in no time. But can the others feel it too?" she quietly thought as she awaited for the response. However, she noticed Rekinna and felt confused. Why meet them later this night?
"What's that all about?"

---

"I got you now!" a voice cried out as a small girl with short blonde hair landed before Reimu as if she was waiting for her.
"You! I felt something odd about your presence and now I know what it is!" She pulled out a card with the image of a sun on it. Her face trying to intimidate her with the glare of challenge.
"Now you tell me what these things are." She didn't seem to give her name yet, but judging from her entrance and determination, she was part of gymnastics team. Cheery but also annoying.

---

Nahumar listened to their words as he left the Cafeteria, leaving behind one of his most powerful card in the process. He had to think as he took a trip around the pool before heading to the courtyard.
"How can I trust those weird girls? They don't know anything about these cards... They look too stupid. Then again...I got no leads and I have yet to know if anyone I know has them as well." Nahumar would spend a while to think about his choice in the courtyard. To him, the whole idea of cards with spells remind him too much of that one game where you use magic elements to fight.
"There are no instructions or point or anything besides the names of the spells? What kind of game is it?" He tried to analyze each card he had, wishing he knew the answer. Each one was visually impressive without credit for the 'artist' at all. No company and no signature backside to indicate the type of card game. Truly this was a mystery to himself.

((Entering Maria, Noraneko, and Hazumi!)

On the otherside of the campus, a dark girl sat on one of the small fences the plots of plants had in the school. She didn't have a class for this period but she had promised her scatter-brained 'friend' a nice night out so that she could meet the town. Her thoughts weren't on that, though.

Balancing a small deck of cards on her thigh, she held two in her hands. " 'Reporter's Way ~ Flashing Blade' ... Huh, what a strange thing... 'Warrior's Way ~ Timely Dash'... Seriously now?" She was deep in thought looking at the brightly-red cards, before she returned them to her deck.

They had appeared last night,... well they had landed on her face and caused a mess around her room! But that wasn't the odd part, after she cleaned them up and thought of throwing them away, one of the cards caught her eye. It read 'Impossible Survival ~ Last Standing Swordsman' It looked pretty interesting and it glowed so differently in the moon's light. Suddenly it seemed like a waste to throw them out! She took a deck of playing cards, dumprd those out and placed the mysterious cards into that box before packing them in her bag to find Lucy and talk to her about it.

Maria slipped the cards back into place and packed them. Lucy was running late, so she'd have to go find the green-eyed girl. She was probably lost again or something. The girl took her kendo bag and slung it over her other shoulder turning to run and find the missing Lucy.

... She found her alright! But she was talking to the other girl. Maria thought she had seen her in her History class, but that was a maybe. Maria was the sort to sit quietly and read a book no matter who talked to her, so it was likely everyone ignored her equally or that she ignored them. That not being the point, Maria hid behind the corner of a building to watch them.

Like hell she was going to walk in at the coolest moment possible! ... In reality, She just didn't want to interrupt Lucy meeting someone new. Maybe that way the blonde would stop harassing her

=======

Not far off, completly ditching their class where the two known female delinquents.

One, the tall one with flowing long black hair, was known for her anger issues and mean batting arm. Her blue eyes usually ignore anyone otherthan when she held her bat and saw them as the baseball. Noraneko Okashii, or Nora for short, worked at a local cafe no one cared for, and was usually suspended from her baseball games for in-field-aggression. She never dropped her baseball-bag. The bat was always at a zipper away while her books and pencils lay hidden deeper with no hope of ever being found. Truly she was a smart girl, but her own attitude kept her from doing much other than in chemistry where she was the go to girl if you had any questions... but it wasn't recommended for you literally to go an ask her a question! What are you?! SUICIDAL?! Nora was more of the 'I will kill you with my glare and if you don't leave, my bat' so only one person really hanged out with her. The other, the short girl.

The second was actually the ring master of any rouse they played. Hazumi Koudo was the short blonde and grayish-blue eyed with the glasses. She was a brilliant mind, and she could ace any test given to her; Sadly, her lack of disposition to work or behave properly undermined any genius she possessed. Hazumi was known as 'that strange grave digger who seems to know everyone but no one knows her' and rightfully so. Her family was the folk that took care of the grave yard, and when you couldn't find her gypping someone out of cash, eight times out of ten you could find her there sitting on a tombstone whistling nonchalantly.

The two where a frigthful team, Nora with her strenght and Hazumi with her wit. They were the known duo of delinquents who would mug and cause trouble and somehow get away with it. And today was no different!

Hazumi and Nora were sitting on one of the tables (though Nora was more like sitting on the table) for lunch. Both had perplexed looks as both her their own decks of those mysterious card.

"I tell you, N, these where just in the pocket of my hoodie, and they got the weirdest names. 'Reverse Judgement ~ Mineral Hell'... I mean, who names these things?"
"Life less nerds, like the one who named this thing 'Temperant Sign~Temperance's Last Breath' ... Oh you found those randomly too? I found these in my bat bag. I nearly busted a geek's head open cuse I thought he'd slip them into my bag er somethin' ," Nora scratched the top of her head looking at the card she had in her hand, "Is it weird if I say these things can't be thrown out? I mean, I tried but I couldn't bring myself to."
"Not really, I tried to burn mine with a ligther and the b***h refused to burn," Hazumi said.
"Oh wow. That's some stubborn piece o' paper."

Suddenly, Hazumi elbowed Nora's knee, "Oi, look, an innocent girl just begging for us to take her money~"
"Perfect. I am dying to try my new aluminium bat. Since I am suspended from even practice this will be perfect!"
"Remember we try nicely then you can crack their heads... Last time you got a little ahead of yourself."
"Fiiiiinneeee~"

With that Hazumi took the lead while Nora took out her bat and followed. "You've strayed a bit too much girls~!" Hazumi grinned, "We may have to escort you back, but that's gonna cost ya, if you get my drift~!"

"Eh? C..cards?" Lucy looked perplexed, despite knowing exactly what Sorina was talking about, especially as the beautiful woman held out yet another strange card in front of her. "Um...no, but that's pretty cool! Is it from a game or something?" Lucy feigned ignorance with a smile as she finished collecting her things and stood up, just in time to be interrupted by an odd girl with black hair. She flashed yet another card, this one depicting some sort of military hardware, and mentioned something about a meeting. "What?? What are you talking about?" Lucy said, almost in unison with Sorina. Were the cards that popular? Were they...normal?

Shaking her head, Lucy back away from the two girls, hugging her bag between both arms. "I'm sorry, I'm new here...if those cards are some kind of fad, then I'm a bit behind the times! Actually, I'm looking for my friend right now... her name's Maria. Have you seen her? She's taller than me," Lucy lifted on hand a few inches above her head, "And has long, pretty black hair. I...um...I forgot where we were supposed to meet."

====

"Sorry?" Reimu said flatly, rather undisturbed by the short girl's sudden appearance. She crossed her arms and adjusted which foot she held her weight with, cocking and eyebrow in mild curiosity. The girl before her was familiar, and judging by her attire and energy, she was probably a member of some sports club. In other words, yet another person Reimu had undoubtedly passed at one point yet gave little consideration of.

"... And why would you expect me to know, kid?" Reimu scoffed, basing her remark off the girl's short stature. "Given a glance, it looks like a trading card, but I'm not really into that kind of stuff. Now if you'll excuse me, I have somewhere to--"

Reimu's half-hearted excuse was cut short as two more girls approached them from behind, having come from a series of benches arranged not far away. These two Reimu knew well, if only by their reputations around the school. The short one had a way with words, and the tall one had a way with faces. Breaking them.

"Listen, punks," Reimu turned her attention two Nora and Hazumi, already knowledgeable of the threat they could pose if not handled properly. "I can take care of myself, and I can probably say the same for my little friend here. Besides that, I left my lunch money at home, so kiss off."

"She is obviously lying by now...but I should respect her wishes." Sorina thought quietly.
"Nevermind about the cards then. I do not know where you friend might be as I am looking for a friend of mine as well. He is a tall guy with a black jacket over his normal school uniform. Maybe you heard of the Delinquent? Nahumar?" She couldn't put him into any words. He was what she said he was. A Delinquent. One who hates school enough to skip most classes.

---
The girl looked over with Reimu and prepared herself. She was one who did not care for simple fights.
"Plus, we are busy over here! Why don't you two just go and beat up some trees?" Obviously she was trying to taunt them and if anything lead them on a chase. She looked to Reimu and quietly spoke to her...
"By the way, I am Hana Anali. Nice to meet you." A perfect time for introductions...
But thankfully, Nahumar was passing by and noticed the four. He could sense only the cards held by Reimu more than the rest. The girl besides her seemed familiar as well, but nothing rang a bell to him.
"What's going on here?" he asked with a rather angry tone. At that point Hana bolted from the scene.
"Woops! Look at the time! Gotta go!" and she vanished as she appeared. Odd girl...
Nahumar's attention stayed on the three who were still left.
"What exactly is going on here?" His eyes gazing over the three but more so with Reimu.
"What am I feeling from her exactly?"

((Entering now with Yume (Yumi), and Vert (Vert/Rose), and I think I'll introduce Satori later on))
And I just copied what Pray put but changed its format a little *shot*

Yumi walked through the halls of the school, wearing her sun hat indoors, as she liked to. She walked towards the cafeteria, holding her satchel's strap firmly as she did. She found it a habit of hers to have to grip on to something wherever she went. People looked at her as she walked and some began to talk amongst themselves about her, wondering why she's so quiet all the time, why she seems to be in a constant mood of uninterest, and why she wore her hat almost all the time. Other students just ignored her as she passed.

Once she arrived at the cafeteria, she noticed others were in the cafeteria at the time too, which slightly surprised her. She walked back out the door and waited for them to leave, leaning on the wall as she did. Once they all left, Yumi entered and sat down at a table near the one where one of the others had been earlier. She placed her satchel on the table and began to feel around in it until she felt a deck of cards inside. She pulled them out and looked at them. Most of her cards were adorn with stars and fire, some were adorn with black and red colors as well. "Burning Heart ~ "Falling Wishes"..." Yumi read to herself in a quiet tone. The card showed yellow stars falling and leaving trails of burning red orbs behind them. At the bottom of the card's image, it showed several explosions, showing what happened when the stars reached the bottom. "Why do I get such cheesy named ones?" She asked herself, pulling out another card to look at. This card showed a red spear pointed at the bottom left corner of the card's image box. There were orbs of fire appearing behind it. "Burning Wish ~ "Aphrodite's Spear"." She read to herself.

Aphrodite... The Greek god of beauty. When Yumi thought of beauty, her mind instantly came to a vision of- "N-no. I need to get going." Yumi said to herself. Yumi was blushing from her thought and she shook her head to try and get the vision out of her head. She packed her cards back in her satchel, safely tucked away at the bottom, and began to make her way out when she thought she felt something from the table she was next to. Yumi looked over to it to see a card lying on its surface. She walked over to it, her left hand gripping the satchel strap, and lifted it up with her right hand to look at it. It seemed different from her cards. She even reached into her satchel and pulled one out to compare them. "Strange... He has these cards too?" She asked herself quietly. She put her card back in her satchel with the others and looked at the other card for a few seconds. She then decided to try and find the man who owned this card and return it to him. "Maybe he knows what these cards are..." Yumi thought aloud, quietly. Her face then went a shade pink. "Maybe she has some too." Yumi dreamed to herself. She then gave her head another shake and left the cafeteria to go find the owner of the card.

-----

Vert sat on a bench, near where two girls (Lucy and Sorina) were talking. She sat on the bench, her backpack next to her, unzipped, and was rummaging through the bag. "Where is it.... Where is it...!" She said to herself as she searched for whatever she was looking for. "where could it be- AGH!" Vert gasped as her backpack fell over and its contents spilled on the ground. There were a two books, a binder with some doodles on it, some pencils and papers, and a blue baggy, like a small gym bag, that was pulled closed. Vert jumped from the bench and quickly began to clean everything up, putting it back in her backpack. "Oh, Rose, you ditz!" She said to herself and she cleaned up her mess.

Rekinna tilted her head sideways at the mention of Maria. "Well, we know one Maria Memory, she should be at the library. But I doubt that's that Maria you're looking for. As for Nahumar, he was at the cafeteria earlier, but I think he's headed to his room already." Then Leena popped out from behind Rekinna, not caring why Sorina wanted to hide her cards she asked. "Why are you hiding them? You know full well that there is more to those cards. I can feel a strong energy coming from you. Well, if you change your mind, come to the roof of the school this mid-night." Rekinna and Leena then left just as fast as they had entered. The two met up with Maria at the library, who was looking through archives that has been untouched for over fifty years. Maria had a perfect memory, so she remembers every book she reads word by word. This just makes looking for clues a whole lot easier, not having to look through books over and over again. When Rekinna and Leena showed up, Maria gave them a look which they understood immediately. So Rekinna got to work looking for more books that might help while Leena searched on one of the five year old school PCs. Maria looked at Leena and muttered something about the internet being useless, Maria went old-school all the way. Leena leaned towards technology more, being a huge computer wiz. Rekinna brought stacks and stacks of papers and books, all of them filled with old hand-writing and gibberish only Memory could make sense of. After two hours of work, it was nearing 8:30. Rekinna had looked in just about every old chest, filing cabinet, closet, shelf, drawer, desk, wall, hidden entrance, brick, stone tablet, and etc. she could find. She even picked a few locks to get to the really old stuff. Maria had, in turn, read everything Rekinna brought to her. Leena had also opened up around 10GB worth of websites. In the end, they compiled all of their findings and came up with this: There is a lot of people around the world and in the past who has found these cards. These cards are, in fact, some sort of magic. A lot of mentions of a place called 'G nso y' in the old texts. ('G nso y' was the best they could do. A lot of the old texts are faded...) These cards were involved in a lot of competitions. These cards are called Spellcards. Other than that, a lot of other scraps of information was also found, such as the basic rules of a battle, and what a Danmaku is. The trio decided to give them selves a team name. So, Based on the names of their cards, which involved a lot of battles, wars, and military. They named the selves the 'G nso y War Trio' After they tidied up, it was 9:00. After which they went to the roof and waited for the rest of the gang to show up.

"Hey Lucy!" the dark haired girl ran out to back up her now completely nervous friend, "You are such a dope, you are halfway across the campus where we were going to meet... Oh hello there, I think we have history together?" Absently she patted Lucy's shoulder, "Maybe we should get goi--" A crash made her turn around to see the scattered things all over the place from another girl's bag.

She patted her friend's other shoulder and went to help Vert with her things,"Here let me help you." Maria knelt down to help the other girl gather her belongings.

=====

"Oh I see a couple trunks, I see 'em right 'ere~~" Nora grinned, jabbing her bat lightly into Reimu's stomach pushing her back. Hazumi moved a hand without turning around, impacting the back of her hand on the stomach of the baseball player. "You two got sharp tongues, don't'cha?" Hazumi smirked, "Your lunch money is a little to little for the passing fare, sweetie~"

A third person came in. It was that tall punk that the two delinquents usually saw when they should all be in class. Hazumi smiled sweetly up at the teenager, but Nora was already going and stopping her was near impossible.

"Nothing at all, how about you keep walking, pretty boy?" She put the bat over her shoulder blade, wrists hooked over it to keep it in place, she was a tall girl, but even she probably couldn't rival Nahumar. She still was certainly not intimidate and it was obvious by the way she walked to mockingly to the boy.

"Ah, I see. Thanks anyway, miss...?" Before Lucy could collect either's name, the two girls ran off. Lucy was about to return her attention to Sorina when a sweetly familiar voice called out from down the hall. During the confusion a moment ago, she hadn't seen Maria - her Maria - approach.

"Maria~!!" The blonde girl gushed, gripping the bag between her arms much tighter than before. "Really? I'm sorry...! I still get lost around the school. This place is really, really bi--?!" Lucy jumped slightly as a crash sounded from nearby, nearly dropping her bag again, but Maria's hand on her should quickly brought her mind back into focus. She watched the dark-haired girl go over to a girl who had also just scattered her things across the floor. There was nothing but admiration in her big blue eyes for Maria. Lucy leaned over to Sorina, bumping shoulders with her and said in a hushed voice, "Isn't she the coolest? Hehe~"

Reimu sighed, tightening the fold of her crossed arms, even as the armed girl nudged at her hard enough to force Reimu back a few steps. Before she could say another word, a tall boy made the scene, Nahumar, which promptly resulted in the smaller, blonde girl's sudden evacuation. How strange.

Unfolding her arms finally, Reimu slouched off her backpack, letting it fall to the ground and balled up her fists, her eyes deadlocked on Nora. "Look, if you two are looking for a fight, then I won't back down. It's about high time someone stood up to you freaks, and if it has to be me, then so be it!" She put one foot forward and raised her fists in a sloppy, slightly defensive stance. The one with the bat was the most dangerous, but if Nahumar decided to join the brawl, then they might be able to overpower her. Additionally, Reimu was naturally agile and had pretty good reflexes, so she may even be able to graze the swing of her bat if it came down to it..!

Sorina smiled at the girls. She felt her shoulder being bumped and heard the comment. "She does look it, but I must get going. S-sorry i could not of helped you!" she cried as she waved them off and headed for the roof. She wondered why the group called people up here and thought to herself it was all a misunderstanding.
"It doesn't seem right..."

---

Nahumar headed between the group as he raised his hands to them.
"Back off you two. I do not know what is going on but beating her up for money is not cool." Then, he felt the same feeling from the two girls as he did Reimu.
"Say...Any of you happen to have one of these cards with you?" Nahumar made a stupid mistake as he pulled out a card with his name on it and the emblem related to his cards. What he did not realized is that another person who pulls the card and accepts the challenge would initiate a spell card duel. One where the users pick five of their many spell cards up and use the defensive spells as they fight. Whoever would bring their card to match his would start the match. He turned to Reimu and, not trying to act like a hero, tells her.
"You should get going. I heard a group of kids with these cards are heading up to the roof soon." as if he knew she had them as well. Granted the cards seem to tell either how strong the person's cards are or who has them.
"I do not want to cause any trouble this late. I want to know more about these things as much as anyone else who owns them." Clearly he was being honest about sitting and talking, but the people he was talking to were the wrong ones to accept such a request.

All while Hana sat at a safe distance to see them.
"Who is that guy really? And why are they not fleeing him?"

Yumi made her way out of the school and looked around. She didn't see anyone at first who fit the picture of the boy she had seen earlier. She walked forward a little bit more and eventually she saw him. She gave a small gasp and began to make her way over to him. "Excuse me?" She called to him. "I think you left this card in the cafeteria." Yumi said to him, reaching the her satchel for his card. She then pulled it out and showed it to him. "This is yours, right?" Yumi asked him. Yumi could care less that there were other people there too, or what they were doing. She just wanted to give the card back. Why? She did not know.

As Vert was picking up her stuff and putting it back in her backpack, another girl came over and began to assist her. "Oh! Thank you!" Vert said to her with a big smile. The job was finished much faster now with two people doing it. The last thing Vert put in was the blue gym baggy, which she picked up from the bottom. The strands that held it closed began to loosen, and the contents of the baggy dumped out on to the ground. "Oh, Rose!" She said, verbally scolding herself again. The contents of the bag were several cards. One landed near Maria that said Strange Device ~ "Magnum Field" which showed an orb of blue static-like energy, smaller blue bubbles, and yellow blasts. Vert began to clean up all the cards around her and shove them back into the baggy. She didn't notice that one was so close to Maria.
