Biography: Vin served the Covenant military since the beginning of the Human/Covenant war and saw action at every major engagement, He even fought the humans legendary Spartan warriors whom he respected for their battlefield prowess on the planet the Humans named Sigma Octanis IV, the Spartans gravely wounded him and left him for dead, if not for his sheer determination and best friend Shipmaster Raan Kotam he would have died on that battlefield, Shortly after that he and Raan were part of the of the fleet that chased the rogue Ascendant Justice all over the Orion arm, before receiving orders to stop and regroup with the rest of the Covenant fleet at the Unyielding Hierophant Raan's ship was one of only 12 ships to survive the stations destruction. Unfit to chase the Humans back to their planet Raan and Vin's ship limped back to Sanghelios for refit and repairs just as the Great Schism started, They were apart of the battlegroup at Instillation 05 battling both the Flood parasite, and the Jiralhanae who sought their destruction with the San Shyum. After the battle was won he sided with another one of his old friends, Thel Vadam (The Arbiter) and the Humans he had fought for so many years and battled along side them to ensure their mutual survival and to end the Prophets lies once and for all. While battling Jiralhanae in the city they called Voi with a joint Human/Sangheili ground force, he was engaging several Jiralhanae pack members when the Chieftain threw a grenade at him and it landed not two feet away, the human who saw his shields were down dove on the grenade to save both his human warriors and Vin. This action where this small human sacrifices his own life to save his fellow warriors was what made Vin believe in Human honor. After the war he and Raan returned to the State of Kotam where Vin resumed his duties as Kaidon. When the Servants of the Abiding Truth came looking for Sangheili looking to support their rebellion Vin refused, knowing he was more skilled then Avu Med Telcam the groups leader not wishing to fight on any side of the war and issued a challenge, if anyone on Telcam's side entered the state of Kotam He would use his ship and turn every temple the Abiding Truth had operations at into glass, He also said that unless given no other choice he would not fight in a war that would gain nothing except to further weaken the Sangheili and drain their already limited resources. Though he doesn't trust humans yet as they do have dishonorable cowardly people in their ranks he is willing to be open to peace between them. He also believes in getting the Sangheili race back into being self reliant.
