Mairposite just grinned at her, fiddling with his hat as they stood there. “It’s up to you. If you want to go on a rooftop, that’s all fine and gravy with me, Rora. But, if you don’t, we can scour the ground like the best of sleuths, just looking for that perfect person to use our ah…love and ribbon baton on. Because, together. We are quite…um…”

He twirled his ribbon baton around and made a face. “Laughable, I think the word is. Laughable.” There was no way anyone would be afraid of them, even if there was two of them. Sure, he could throw a pretty mean right hook…if there was a wii-mote in his hand. Aurora looked absolutely harmless, all frills and ruffles and flowy fabric…no. They just weren’t the fear squad…though, with Aurora having grown stronger…she felt a bit more intimidating.

“I’m not usually one for rooftops, so I suppose if you’d like to check them out, I’d love to. Time to try something new, right? Expand my horizions?”

She looked down at her get-up-- all those frills and ruffles and flowy fabric-- and then at his ribbon. Laughable, he called them. "Ahahahaha. What happened to that get-go attitude a few hours ago, Maripo? Besides."

Aurora had felt the presence of Order above them, ahead. Weaker than hers. That was.. a new feeling. Not necessarily the greatest feeling in the world, but still a bit promising! And exciting! A glance upward revealed the culprit. Oooooh, it was her. Heee. This could be fuuun.

The super senshi leaned in to whisper in Mariposite's ear. "Sometimes, it's all just in the presentation. Sailor TianGuan, senshi of masks, up ahead and up on the rooftop. Should we say hi~?" Aurora leaned back, planted a quick kiss on his cheek, and winked.

It surprised Tian that the both of them actually made the effort to stop and get onto the rooftop. She didn't mind Aurora; Tian felt like she was a sweet girl that stumbled upon the wrong side. As for the Negaverse officer... Well, there was no way she wanted to describe him.

Instead, Tian addressed Aurora whom followed behind the officer. "Aurora! How are you?" She paused and looked her over. "From the looks and feel of you, you've upgraded." Tian smiled, not sure if it was a good or bad thing. Her magic might be stronger, but physically? Who knows. It's not like she hadn't been working out herself. If she needed to defend herself, she would.

Tian spoke again while motioning at the officer. "What is a nice girl doing here with Mr. Casanova. I hope he's not causing trouble for you..." At the moment, she'd rather defend a girl in trouble if anything. She disliked how the Negaverse officer treated women. Well, how he treated her anyways.

Mariposite’s smile faded and a scowl took its’ place, looking rather out of place on the lieutenant’s face. He really, really did not like to just be brushed aside, not when he was trying to replace any ill will he might have had for TianGuan and make peace! Sure. It was a bit of a sarcastic peace, but still. Peace was peace, right?

He glanced to Aurora and sighed, looking away and trying very hard to resist rolling his eyes. Why was she being so friendly? This girl was part of the alien invasion force. This girl was the enemy. Honestly, they shouldn’t be chatting it up with her—they should be throwing her off the rooftop and leaving her body in some dumpster to rot.

She had way too good of an aim with those luscious legs of hers.

“Well, miss masked wonder, you don’t have to be a rude b***h you know. Here I was trying to let bygones be bygones…but…if you’re going to be a brat like this, well. I would say forgive me, but…well. Honestly I don’t care if you do or don’t. I’ve just decided that I really don’t like you, so, kindly either leave, or be prepared to come in close contact with my fist.”
Well. He was still trying to be polite. Sort of.

"Are you crushing on him or something?"

Well, NOW she was annoyed. Mildly annoyed. The tiniest bit annoyed. The most miniscule of minisculed annoyances. Normally she would just laugh it off, but this was just getting personal! The girl's happy bright face turned all scowly, and before long she kicked at an imaginary pebble on the rooftop. Her face turned a radish red, just so that it could match the red in her fuku.

Why did TianGuan have to be all mean like that? :<

She looked up at her with a smile when she finally finished. "Ahahaha...ha, let me introduce you. That's Lieutenant Mariposite and he's my boyfriend." The smile turned horribly sweet now. "Let me tell you a bit about his good qualities, okay~"

That's when she blew Tian the kiss. "Aurora Lovelove Enrapture~"

She had to protect him. That was her purpose here. The dark mirror senshi threw a glance at Mariposite and then nodded to the dazed Tian. Hopefully he'd get the message that it was time to act. Or do.. whatever. And he only had a limited amount of time to do it.

She didn't really want to start a battle, but... uhm.. yeah. Something in her just went pchoo~

Aurora directed her gaze back at Tian. "Now look at me and listen about how he's one of the greatest things to ever happen in my life~"

"Great... Got myself stuck in some Chaos love story." Tian was honestly not interested in what Mariposite's good qualities were. If they were truly good qualities, Tian would never have had to kick him in the crotch for being a pervert and Aurora wouldn't be needing to defend him now. Was this how blind love could be?

Tian had never experienced it herself, but was surprised at the Senshi of Romance for her actions. When Aurora's attack hit, Tian could feel the gushy feelings. It was in its own sense 'happy', but just mentally knowing that it was magic made it feel wrong. "I don't want magic to control how I feel."

Luckily, Tian didn't have to listen. With some sort of teamwork between the two, Marisopite had landed a punch square on Tian's cheek. Tian could feel like it wasn't as strong as if he was putting his body weight into the punch, but it hurt nonetheless and would probably be a bit bruised in the morning. The punch, however, also caused her to come back to her senses enough to counter attack the one closer to her. The main weakness of a man was his balls, and once again, Tian kicked Mariposite there.

This time, however, she didn't just let him scamper away. Instead, she followed up with a charge and push, causing him to fall back towards Aurora, giving herself some space to flee and not be ganged up on.

Tian was blinking furiously still trying to focus, but managed to give Aurora a word of warning before she dashed off from rooftop to rooftop. "If he was truly good, you wouldn't have to defend him like that."

It was then that she scampered off. massaging her cheek. She'd have to get some hot tea bags to put on it before bed to help with the possible swelling. Tian never imagined she'd get herself into that kind of love-spat. It felt like all those show she'd watch in middle school; never did she want to be a part of something like that again.

"Y...."

You aren't, was what she wanted to say. You aren't some weakling. You aren't...

Instead the events that happened all within the whirlwind of a single moment assaulted her brain. The events gained a new twist, the same twist she imagined as Tian taunted her about her crush. There laid her mother in a pool of blood, her blonde hair matted with congealing blood. There little Esme sat, paralyzed with fright, too scared to even get help for her little brother who laid beside her mother. That horrible scene played in her mind again and again: during the fight with Toutatis, the fight with Requiem, now. Except now her mother's beautiful dress darkened and changed into a Negaverse version of a zoot suit. Now it was Lieutenant Mariposite lying there in a pool of blood. She had to protect him from that fate. She couldn't let that happen to him or Touta or anyone else she cared about.

And now he was gone. Two hours prior she'd finally found her purpose, to protect the person she loved and make him great. And now.. now....

Now she was just alone again.
