 Arcana sighed and looked up into the sky. Life hadn’t always been easy. Hell she had raised Magica and Celestia and often gave up time for her to be a kit to make sure they had a fighting chance. Then she had thrown herself into studying her fortune telling magic. This later brought her to her current situation. Although she did have to admit back then she never thought she would get hit by a dark energy. It wasn’t her best moment she admitted turning Munin away. Luckily munin’s best friend was there to help her through it. However from that moment on Munin didn’t really understand what love was. Half why they where on this quest at the moment, after all perhaps she could show him he did in fact love Antique and he wouldn’t hurt the poor girls heart. She could tell the younger female had a huge crush on her son.
However right now she was on a journey with her oldest son. It was mostly to see if they could get a semblance of a mother-son relationship and to introduce Kimiya into the family. It wasn’t going so well at the moment, the two where quiet and tense with each other. She supposed that was to be expected, after all even though Arcana had been the one to raise Munin they had always regarded each other with some sort of distance. She say Kimiya and Munin return and quickly got up from her reclining position.
Munin had been out to see Antique although from the look on his face it was clear she had bumped into Hugin. The two had been rather close when they where little but over the years and she supposed not really growing up with each other the bond had been severed unfortunately. She briefly wondered what and if anything he was going to say on the subject.

 Munin sighed and shook his head he absolutely hated feeling this way, thats why he tried to avoid the other half of his family as much as he could. He wasn’t expecting to meet up with Hugin and the whole thing had pretty much drained him. When they were really little Hugin and munin had been really close, he had been a slightly doting older brother and then their parents separated for a time Hugin going with Wynter.
It was then that something started changing in Munin, not just because the only one he felt close to disappeared but other just as damaging elements. Munin started losing very important key emotions foremost being able to love another. He had learned to be sarcastic cold, and rather unfeeling. He had learned to mask it perfectly and had kept the only other relationship he valued having growing to actually care for Antique. Only problem was everyone was always pushing them together and along with his anger and confusion, he left not wanting to lash out and scare her. He hoped she would find some one special, some one who could love her.
The point was he started steering away from others, it was just safer. One of these days he was going to snap and do something he could never talk his way out of. Of course Hugin decided not seeing each other wasnt going to fly. Luckily Munin had stayed neutral mostly...

Arcana looked up and let out a sigh. She knew she was a better parent than this. After all she had raised her sisters and the three of them still got along. She wondered where it had gone wrong that had caused a rift between her family. Part of it was her fault, she understood that. At first with her hesitation to even try giving Munin any affection, then she had been separated from Wynter and the two children had grown up and away from each other. Luckily he had Antique there the first portion of his life.
Maybe it would have been best if she had kept him with winter so he could have stayed with antique growing up. She knew leaving and then him spending all his time with Taranis had been disastrous. It was part of the reason they had come back now, mostly because she wanted to see her youngest son and her new grandchildren. She was hoping that he would have run into antique although the look on his face indicated that he most likely hadn’t. She wanted to run up and hug him although their relationship wasn’t quite at the point where he would accept it from her yet.

 Kimiya groaned and used one of her wings to quickly whack Munin on the back of the head. “you know life would be so much easier if you didn’t go around perpetually frowning all the time and I’m not talking about your expression and face being the way it is.” She spoke up. She had been traveling with her great nephew? Yeah great nephew when they had run into her other great nephew and he had learned about the whole hugin having babies and wanting to fix something with Munin. She knew it was an admirable idea but the younger brother had failed spectacularly. Hopefully Arcana would be able to do a bit better.
“oh don’t give me that look, you think that I haven’t had a rough life, you at least grew up with good friends and Arcana even if she didn’t do as well as you both would have liked, and you knew you had family out there that wanted to see you.” She stated glaring right back at him. Finally a small smile cracked on his face and she almost did a victory smile if it wouldn’t have ruined the whole thing. He turned to look at his mother and could tell from the frown and worry that crossed her features she knew that he had bumped into his younger brother. However he didn’t want arcana to feel like she had failed with him. He did want her to have other children. Most would have been mad at Arcana but he had been raised with her clan and with her learning her fortune telling abilities. He knew that for her world he had been like a punch in the face, and it had taken a while for her to come to terms. They never really had a normal bond, but he could tell that she wanted to get that bond. Perhaps this too was where he needed to start with his Mother, before he could really love anyone else.
He was pulled out of his thoughts by a whack to the head and turned to glare at kimiya. His Great aunt, even though she was younger than his mother, didn’t really take any bull crap from others and was often refreshing to be around. He could see a lot of Arcana in her and he had quickly gotten used to her prescene. Which was weird for him, maybe he was slowly changing?
