Tonight, it was Coeur's turn for guarding the border of the pride against anyone that may harm them or hopefully be there to welcome wanderers. She would have loved to help someone into the pride, just like she had been. However, from the look of the things tonight was very slow and quiet so she had a lot of time to sit there quietly, looking up at all the stars in the night sky. It was a beautiful night. Then again, she had always loved the nighttime and gazing up at the stars for hours on end. This was one of the many things she loved about guarding at nighttime.
The light blue lioness shook her head and returned her gaze to the outside lands. Still not a soul in sight. She wondered if there would be anyone coming tonight or if her watch would go off without a hitch. Coeur shrugged and laid down at the border, her tail flicking as her eyes remained focus on the outer lands. "Come out, come out wherever you aren't." Coeur whispered, her paws gently stretching out.

Mvushi didn't often care for others' company in the pride, though slowly he was getting over that. He no longer plotted for a better station in life, like he'd held in the past, and had finally come to terms with being a slave. Even if that had taken a while... and even if he mostly didn't believe the nonsense of the Great Lion turning his gaze away from him. He knew all of it fit perfectly; Denge appearing and him lowering himself to her rank... her disappearance. The fact that she didn't love him, how stupid he'd been in thinking otherwise. Such a thing as love... that no longer existed for Mvushi.
His tail flicked as he lumbered towards the borders; even now he would not try and escape the lands. He did care for the lands and his pride, though oft he chose not to show it. He shook the light blue mane from his pink eyes, ears flicking as he heard another member calling out softly in a sing-song manner.
"Wouldn't that be rather hard to accomplish?" He said smoothly, though the edge to his words were definitely sarcastic. He was surprised with himself for having replied to the female, instead of changing direction and moving on to a more secluded spot.
