Silver & Gold
You drift through a local open-air bazaar. Snow dusted the awnings and piled in dirty slush clumps along the sides of the cobblestone walkway. Ahead of you, you see a small cluster of individuals. With your curiosity piqued, you go to investigate. At the small vendor you realize it is a holiday lottery.
Wanting to try your luck, you step up to the box.
Determined to use your "special technique," what do you do?
Are there special chants?
Vigorous movements with the box?
What?
Please be as detailed or simple as you like!
This is meant to be a fun exercise, not tedious.
I have opened it up so you may use a pet a post/roll
I'm not limiting it to one pet a user this time.
Dang it, I want to spread some holiday cheer to as many Medaria as I can!

How to Play
In addition to your little tale...
Roll 2 10-sided dice (once per day)
After please edit in the pet's reaction and indicate a keep, gift or pass
First number represents Gold or Silver
Second number represents which of those gifts you will receive.
Silver Gifts are unlimited, you can get as many of each gift as you roll
Gold Gifts are limited, you may win only 1 of each gift
Restarts every Saturday (@ 12am MST) up until Christmas Day (the 25th)
The object will not be adjusted.
Each week you have the opportunity to win 3 prizes
You can have 2 Silver prizes and 1 Gold prize per week.
You may gift them as Secret Santa gifts.
However, you must not be max'ed on personal weekly gifts.
For Secret Santa
Please provide an accurate username and I will PM them out.
Or will quote them, respectively, if their PMs are turned off.
Also, please note these will count against them per week as well.
If you end up rolling a 10, #, and already have # prize.
Either roll again, or just PM me for approval.
Just remember what is mentioned above.
I will make note in your post of your winnings anyway.

2. Staff (aside of hostess) are able to play.
3. Co-owned Pets; owners must agree on who RPs for that pet.
4. No Proxy-ing for others - they will have a week to participate themselves.

I ask that you would kindly take a special gift tag from the vendor's table and label the username.

Bella walked up to the machine eager to participate. She always did love a good challenge. Her front paws flexed as she kept a watchful eye on the box. Placing her paw on the handle she gave it a couple rough turns. The lottery box chimed as it mixed the internal goodies. She prayed for a good outcome.
The small silver ball rolled into the metallic tray. Bella noticed a small black seven boldly printed. The host boastfully smiled saying she'd received three free holiday grams.Keep

Lucas walked up to the box with a strange feeling of Déjè Vu. He was never one to turn down an oppertunity of easily earned riches. But he never learned to ask nicely... So he leaned in close to the box, whispered something that sounded a rather lot like a threat and gave it a sturdy look. "Now, do as we've agreed, and no one gets harmed..."He started twisting the nob, awaiting fortune. Rustling down came a silver ball with a seven printed on it. Looking at the prizeboard next to the box, he felt quite unpleased. Where was his weight in gold? If it doens't shimmer, he doesn't want it. He turned to the lottery man, and said with a frown; "Keep your pesty little prizes, I'll take this!"Lucas quickly grabbed the ball and stuck his tongue out at the poor man. "I'll be back tomorrow, and you better have something better for me when I do..."PASS

Anabel Lee stepped up hesitantly. Flotsam jumped up and down next to her, proud of himself for getting her this far. " Now you've got to play!" he cried enthusiastically. " You can do it!" She blinked at the familiar, glanced up at the rules, and slowly reached out her paw to turn the knob - at first slowly, then with more force as the thing seemed almost rusted in place. Then she pulled back and anxiously ignored Flotsam's cheering, wondering what she would get. -edit- The silver ball proclaiming 8 rolled into the tray. It was quite a pretty ball, and Anabel found herself wishing she could just take the ball and leave the rest. Before she could say anything, Flotsam yelled, " What is this? You stintin' my bestest pal, here?!" She felt like she would die again out of pure embarrassment. She grabbed him by the ear and pulled him away, utterly mortified. (( Pass for me. I'm in a car on the way to Chicago to take the JLPT. )) Daja, having been lured to the bazaar by the sounds and smells, finally turned, standing before the machine. Riches? Aah, perhaps he could win something to bring home to Bella.... What was the worst that could happen? He gave it a look, and then turned the knob.... Edit: What luck! A tiny silver ball bearing a 10 rolled out. He took it in his paws, giving a grin up at the shopkeeper. It seemed like he WOULD be bringing something back with him. Prince Raphael was searching for just the right gift for his mother, Princess Celestia when he saw the commotion ahead. He made his way up to the vendor's stall, and watched as the patrons ahead of him tried their luck. He looked around to see if his brother, Prince Gabriel was near, but didn't see him. Raphael hoped he showed up, because his brother's luck at things like this was better than his own. A space opened up at the table and the vendor beckoned him forward. He stepped up to the table and doing as the others had done, he took his turn. Edit: Keep - 10 pt RP voucherRaph didn't know exactly what it was he had won, but he figured it had to be worth something. The vendor handed him a piece of paper and encouraged him to come back the following day. Raph thanked him and went in search of his brother.
