If you've been playing a game lately and feel like talking about it, say it here where we can discuss, debate, review, or recommend a game here.

I learned a very important lesson playing Civilization V...don't play it if you don't want it to consume you. You never play just one turn. You'll just keep going and going even when you've pretty much already won.

*whistles* I have my own list going the last 2 weeks, but yours is pretty impressive.

Tell me about Endless Space. I've been seeing it on Steam, but I didn't
really know anything about it.

I've been playing Fallout (the original), since the Fallout collection was on sale on Steam, so I now own Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics.

I've also been playing Catherine and Dead Space 2, Call of Duty Black Ops 2,
Halo 4, and Borderlands 2

i only got it cuz it was free.
it reminds me of sins of a solar empire except on a larger scale and turn based.
i just got it so i can't say if i like it yet or not.

I've been playing Fallout 3, Devil May Cry, Halo 4, Modern Warfare 3, and Homefront where I'm pretty much screaming AMERICA! every 5 seconds. I finally beat
Assassin's Creed 2 (Requiescat in pace) and can now move on to Assassin's Creed 3. Btw it's really strange playing Metal Gear Solid 4 where they say "War has changed" and then play Fallout 3 where they say "War, war never changes."

I know nothing about Arma 2 other than that Day Z zombie mod.
I got to say, that the Mantis in Halo 4 is very overpowered. Humans would have
pretty much won the war with the Covenant if they had it earlier.

i guess war can't make up it's mind.
assassins creed 3 is fun. but i always feel like mel gibson from the patriot.
and instead you should scream WOLVERINES.

Arma 2 is a combat simulator as opposed to a first person shooter.
basically you can do more stuff and the combat is more realistic. my favorite thing is the editor. i've been recreating every battle i can think of with it.

I've been playing Sniper Elite V2. I wasn't quite sure what to expect from it but I really liked what it has. It probably has the most satisfying kill cam I've ever seen. Whenever you snipe people from a good distance, you get a bullet camera followed by an X-ray view of the bullet penetrating your target. The game takes place in WWII and while it's a sniper simulator, you can easily run around and gun people down, but then it's just not as big of a challenge. It's a bit like metal gear solid or assassin's creed in that you can loot and pick up bodies. You can also rig bodies with land mines or sneaking around snapping people's neck from behind. Something I personally enjoy is pretending to have a sniper duel with another sniper because I love to end it with a bullet in their eye. The graphics are only okay, and the enemy AI can be idiotic at times, but all in all it's a game worth playing.

i haven't been playing alot of games these past few weeks. its usually like this around christmas.
but i have been picking at the walking dead.

i played a demo of sniper elite v2. since i played the first one i was exited about this game.
better ballistics, improved stealth mechanic, and it lets you shoot hitler in the nuts. adding a slow motion, x-ray, bullet cam.
nothing bad about any of that

I just recently bought the entire Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War franchise for $9.99. I don't know much about warhammer, but I'm just a sucker for deals. My laptop can handle the first one, so I'm crossing my fingers and hoping it can handle the second. I haven't played it much, but I like what I see so far. Humans vs Orcs, but in a more futuristic setting.

Haven't been playing much lately, I always try to contain my gamer urges or else I get seriously addicted.

Just a few shots at Phantasy Star Online and some H Games which don't count as games I guess. After that I have been dying over and over and over at Call of Duty Black Ops 2 for the joy and excitement of my beloved siblings. I've never seen them so happy since the time I was beaten up to death countless times while playing Metroid. I mean they called me to play just to watch me die and laugh about it, that's how good it was.

Also I've been addicted to weird minigames on iPhone such as Lords&Knights and Dragonvale (shame on me).

Other than that I've been playing Infinite Space. Which is weird but pretty entertaining, gotta give those pirates what they ask for.

I've been playing FTL: Faster Than Light and I've become horribly addicted. It's essentially Star Trek where you're in control of a crew on a spaceship. You'll have fun stories to tell as you play. I've had battles where I destroyed the enemy ship, but I lose people to a raging fire on my ship. The game is a bit brutal and death is permanent. I've had times where I'm in a nebula and suddenly boarders appear on my ship trying to kill my crew making a final stand in the medbay before the oxygen runs out because they destroyed my life support. What was even the point of that?! They would have died too. My time trying to board other ships have been mixed. Especially since I keep forgetting to stop firing on the enemy ship while I'm boarding so they end up blowing with the ship. Ship to ship combat is fun and challenging. Divert all power to the weapons and target their shields and weapons is what typically goes through my mind. Send the drones out to fight while locking down the enemy's weapons is another fun strategy. Ah, I'm just having such a good time with this game. Oh and slugs...never trust them.

although i usually don't like MMO's, i must say the new free version of star wars the old republic has caught my attention.
i really like the conversations reminiscent of mass effect. also i was always a fan of the Knights of the old republic games that came before so i'm sure that had something to do with it.

Halo 4, MW2 (yeah, I know, it's old now)... Not much else in the past week or two, but I think I need to get back into skyrim and some zombie games.
I have xbox live, so Halo 4 keeps me busy enough.
