User Image Porter looked over his shoulder, he was almost certain his mother wasn't pursuing him, but he still had to check. It wasn't as if she cared if he went out on his own anyways. Porter liked to pretend he was sneaking off, it helped him feel like his mother did care. The small Wilwarin boy had never really gone very far though, just into one of the forests.

"Time for an ad-benture" he proclaimed as he jumped onto a fallen tree and walked across it. Once he had conquered that log he continued on, jumping on rocks and making lots of noise.

Tamara jumped across the small creek and giggled. She didn't have to run away. Her mother believed in free raising. She expected Tamara to check in every once in a while and in return, Tamara had free run. She stopped to examine a leaf that was swimming down the creek. Watching as it bobbled about in the water, she closed her eyes and attempted to hear the creek. The way her father had taught her. When she didn't hear anything, she shrugged and moved on. It just wasn't in her to practice her faun side today. Nope. Today was the day for play.

Running her hands along the leaves as she went, she sang softly while she walked. She really did love the forest. The noises settled her when she was mad or sad. It rejoiced with her when she was happy. It had it's branches broken as someone ran through it happily. Wait... what?

Tamara paused. She cocked her head and tried to listen to the forest again. Again, she heard the scrambling that she had picked up on before.

"Well. That's weird. It sounds like... Oh no!" she gasped outloud. Someone was coming. Where to hide? Where could she hide? She looked about quickly, giving a small sigh of relief as she spotted a small bush down under the grand oak tree. Making a mad dash for it, she crouched under the low lying greenery as the Stick Breaker pressed closer. They would never find her here.

If only she knew her wings hadn't quite made it under the bush. . .

Porter continued to prance around, this was what freedom felt like. He was still full of energy when he paused on a stick he had already broken when he had passed through this spot before. It wasn't even that he broke it that he noticed it, he didn't know he was going in circles. He walked on it slowly as if it were a balance beam, feeling it crackle beneath his feet all the while. It actually kind of hurt his soft feet a little bit.

Slowing down to walk across the balancing... stick... made him notice the bush that was ahead of him. There was two leaves sticking out of it that were just too big and bright to be part of the bush. It was too obvious to pass up, he even noticed that they had a different shape after he had stopped long enough. "Hmm" he said inquisitively. Though he wasn't expecting to find a pae in the bush, he wanted to know where the leaves had come from. He walked over to it and touched one of the oddly shaped leaves, and then gave it a good tug.
