Losa needed a break from her family. She loved them all very much and even if she didn’t see the human’s anymore she still thought of them from time to time as part of the family, at least as far as her mother’s bonded was concerned. Most other humans could just die and it wouldn’t really affect her. Having spent part of her life in a cheerful happy home and the other being raised by Sharsa and her ‘friends’ Losa had a positive enough view of life, but couldn’t bring herself to trust humans at all. It wasn’t that she hated them, but just found them unsettling now. Perhaps one day she’d find a human to change her mind, but she doubted it. For now all she wanted to do was run. Miles and miles away from the village where her family was Losa had lost track of where she was and where she was headed. Did it really mater anyway? Panting heavily with sweat cascading down her coat she started to slow down. Exhaustion was finally taking hold. Shaking her head she wasn’t surprised to see foam spittle fly off. Rather than just stopping which is what her muscles wanted her to do she slowed down gradually so that she wouldn’t experience pain later. She would stop and graze later once she had cooled off sufficiently.

Adonis in all his rainbow glory was grazing happily in one of the herds outfields, it was only a little unsettling not having the herd around him but the days of wyrvern attacks seemed to be long gone. Or so he thought as something dark blew out of the night and nearly scared the coat off him. "WYRVERNS!" He screeched and took off,he ran until he was sure there were no wings following him so he turned around. It wasn't a wyrvern at all, it was a mare who had been running for a long long time and hard judging by the foam flecks covering her snowy coat. "Oh I am sorry miss," He walked back and helped her support her head as she seemed awfully exhausted, "Are you alright? Is there something I can do to help? Are you being pursued?" He couldn't help but glance at the sky and check for wyrverns, he really should not travel alone anymore, it was bad for his nerves.

At the sound of a screech of Losa came to a sudden stop her head whipped around and settled on a bright colored Azrein. He walked right up to her and used his body to help support her head. Blinking she tilted her head enough to look up at him. He was busy eying the sky. Odd. “I’m fine, just a bit tired.” She grinned a bit but the effect was probably ruined by the foam still on her maw. “Not perused. I just needed to clear my head. Out running my thoughts seemed the best way to do it.” Her eyes drifted close for a moment before she forced them open again. She should fall asleep just standing her with her head on him. She didn’t even know this male. Stepping back from him she shook her head. “Is there a nice spot to sleep here?” She asked for conversation and she was genuinely tired. Maybe this male had a good spot to rest for a while. If not she’d find a nice quite little spot out of the way and curl up for a few hours.

"I have never succeded in outrunning my thoughts they always follow swift at my heels." He thought about her inquiry a moment, "There is a quiet tree with overhaning branches not far from here that you would probably find suitable." He walked over a hill, "There its right there. I wouldn't be overly afraid if I were you, not much around here to be frightened of but it does feel nice to have another around once in a while."

“Huh.” It was about the most intelligent response Losa could come up with. “What was the yelling about?” She followed him over the hill hating gravity and stupid hills. She looked at the shaded spot and dropped down to her front knees feeling the ground. It was soft enough that laying wouldn’t be an issue. Dropping the rest of the way down she looked at the male. “So bright eyes got a name? Or shall I call you Bangles?”

"Oh that oh, I was convinced a silly colt's tale was after me when you startled me earlier." He shrugged. " I was pleasantly surprised really, your much nicer then wyrverns."
"My name is Adonis Ma'am, I'm sorry for not introducing myself sooner." She looked so tired, he almost yawned just looking at her. "I'm surprised you have enough energy left to talk."

A colt’s tail? That was just funny. Chuckling she had no idea what a wyrvern was. It must be some kind of monster to have a full grown stallion screech like a demon at the thought of a wyrvern coming after him. She gave him a smile. “Can always talk to a handsome male. N don’t ma’am me. Not old.” With that said Losa proceeded to sleep for a few hours. She didn’t even dream she was so tired.

Adonis smiled at her "not old" comment. He then proceeded to guard her while she slept. He spent time between watching the horizon and watching her. She seemed so delicate and fine like a purple snowflake. He sighed. She was different. Course so was he. He was quieter then his cousins who were waiting expectantly for him to grow a personality apparently. It was just that he had no cause yet. He missed his father yes, but he wasn't sure that outright revenge on the six was the way to go, after all if he himself died before he could accoplish anything then what was the point of fighting. And he was no battle scarred warrior like Kai or Hellfyre or well any of the others, Aunt Kainda could flip him on his butt with little effort. So he stayed out of that mess and watched the horizon. He made a descent scout, when he was sure that no one was stalking him.

Waking up hours later Losa was surprised the stallion was still there. Keeping her eyes mostly shut she gave him an eye over when she figured he wasn’t looking. A bit hard to stare at but not a bad build on him. She tried to remember what she had said when she was tired but didn’t have much luck. That was the problem with listening when tired everything came out all muddled and you misunderstood half the things that were said. To be fair though she hadn’t really expected today’s run to end with a conversation. She was sure the male had introduced himself she searched her memories for a name. Adipose? Alonis? Aldenese? It was no use she had no idea. Finally she gave up the pretense of still resting and started to get up. Stretching out her forelegs first she was surprise to feel tingling in her limbs. It was odd getting up the rest of the way with her legs asleep but she didn’t complain. That wouldn’t really accomplish anything. “Heya.”

"You had a pleasant nap? Goodness knows you needed one. Nothing exciting happened while you were asleep, just a rabbit who hopped by a while ago." He yawned, a little tired himself. "Is there somewhere I can take you? Home perhaps? Or do you still want to run from there, you must have come quite a distance to be so lathered as you were when you arrived."

Well it wasn’t the most amazing sleep she’d ever had but she felt fairly rested. Nodding she let herself smile at the rabbit comment. “Well maybe you should have taken a nap next to me if you’re going to yawn like that.” She shook her head. “No I don’t have anywhere I need to be.” She snorted. “I’m not running from home. I’m just running for a time. It’s nothing chasing me out, other than the need to be away from things. Ever have something that bothered you and nagged at you until you needed to step back and think?” She batted and ear not willing to say just how far she ran.

"Perhaps I should have napped but I didn't want anything to disturb you." He thought for a moment. "Not since my father was killed no, besides that I live a very quiet life."

Losa doubted a stampeed next to her could have woken her up since she had been so tired. Shrugging it off she felt bad for the stallion. "um sorry about your father. I don't know that that must have been like." She had an idea but her parents hadn't died she had just been taken from them

"Being honored as a hero doesn't help with the pain of loss." She nodded to his statement though. "At least you have a way to remember him."
